When I did ask for help, the selection wasn't so great but I was able to find something in the youth area. There was only one person at the store that I know of. The layout of the store was logical - women's, kids, men's with clearance aisles clearly marked. They have lots of different brands of shoes - Nike, adidas, Skechers, new balance, etc. We were able to find a pair for about $50. Sure beats buying/returning shoes from Amazon because you can't try them on.

I overheard her talking rudely about the customers before me to her coworker, and they both laughed. Not only did she hurt me with words, but physically. She was very aggressive and has no manners as she bumped right into me without saying excuse me, or sorry. The service is poor, the staff was unfriendly, the selection of shoes were limited, and I will be making the commute to a further location specifically to not run into these people again. 0/10 experience.

The store was pretty empty, and I was almost immediately helped by a staff member, though this would probably vary depending on crowd size. Max lead me through the foot-scanning process that showed the size, arch, width, etc. of my foot, and gave recommendations on shoes. The workers were knowledgeable about what kinds of footwear would work for me. Shout-out to Max for being really patient with me trying out all the shoes, spikes, and socks! The shoe prices were in-line with other stores, and if you sign up for VIP you get a 10% discount. She didn't even acknowledge me. She did do the foot scan for my husband but didn't have him walk on the treadmill to observe his feet. She ended up recommending a completely different kind of shoe than the one he bought there last year and couldn't explain why before he was recommended a more stabilizing shoe and now he was recommended a less stabilizing shoe. She said that can happen in young people and as they grow, their needs change. He's 59, pretty sure he's done growing. He went forward with the insoles and thought he'd try the new recommendation, but they didn't have his size. At this point Rhian went from uninterested to annoyed. I decided to ask for a different person to help me, but after an hour or so of Rhian's attitude, I wasn't interested anymore.

The folks working there are so helpful, providing you either with a bag to carry your stuff, or they'll actually hold it at the register or fitting room (which is clever cause I'm like 99% more likely to buy if it's already at the register lol). Located in such a beautiful shopping mall in Bellevue, you can spend hours inside because the skylights let in natural light, which I feel adds to the comfort of your shopping trip. There is a reason why stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx are continuing to grow at all times, even in times of inflation, recession, or stagflation. This location is within walking distance of my daughter's apartment, and is usually a visit just to see what things are selling out here (vs the LA area). However, this time, we needed to buy specific clothes for a future happening and it ended up being a good place to fulfill it. It also reminded that I believe that Marshall's has the best queuing system for checkout of any retail store out there (one long queue, intercom system to tell you which register is available next).
