If you buy a mitt from Misho, Jim will personally start the break in process in his shop with the old fashioned wooden mallet and hammer. He then went into action - looking up the style number and all the while explaining that the coat was under warranty. Once he was able to read/interpret the style number he issued me a gift card that I was able to get a brand new coat. Greg was amazing! Service at North Face Bellevue Square was the best. What a pleasure to hear 'yes' versus no. Thank you Greg! PS - I left my ear pods in my old jacket - called and YES!!! They had the earbuds. I went back to the store - Adam retrieved them and Greg remembered my name! Wow. What personal service you get at North Face. The company backs what they sell.

Both the associate and the manager kept saying the return process would "take too long" and be impossible, especially since it was paid with Apple Pay. When I mentioned it would have been helpful if the website noted not to return items in-store on Black Friday, the manager defended the brand by saying, "As you can tell, we are very busy." He even added, "If the line gets backed up, it's on you", which was a wild thing to say to a customer simply trying to make a return. I then asked for a gift card instead (since Apple Pay isn't supported for in-store returns), and was told the gift card system was conveniently down. After driving 45 minutes to get here, it was clear this was a mix of system limitations and a complete unwillingness to help. Immediately went to the Vuori store for another return and the experience was the exact opposite. The North Face Bellevue Square location was easily the worst customer service I've experienced at any brand store. Clearly they don't care about losing a longtime customer.

I purchased swim bottoms, swim top, and a rash guard from Carve here and spent a lot of money as the brand is expensive. They charge a lot for shipping and it wasn't even shipped that quickly. Once the items arrived, I realized I needed bigger swim bottoms (even though I followed their size chart and Carve usually has consistent sizing). When I went to exchange the swim bottoms for a bigger size I was SHOCKED to see that I would have to pay to ship the bottoms back and then pay 9.00 (yes you read that right, to get an item that weighs 6 ounches) for shipping to get the new pair. They don't do exchanges, you have to pay to send the item back and then re-order the new size. To top it all off, you don't even get your money back. You get a "credit". So you can pay ridiculous shipping amounts in the future. They received their item several days ago yet I have not received an email saying so, and who knows when I will get my "credit". I will never shop this company again. Most places that sell high end clothes do free returns or exchanges and you get your money back in the form you paid. How this place is in business when there are so many other options is beyond me.

I had a great experience buying shoes at Road Runner. Now I have feet that are in constant pain from Plantar fasciitis and I got to the point that I needed to see someone who really knew what the right running shoes were for me. I had previously been wearing Asic 2000GTs and while they were fine I didn't know I have two different feet widths and that the heel drop wasn't deep enough. Going into Road Runner was a fun adventure. Ramsey helped me first buy scanning my feet and videoing my ankles and bottom of my feet ehile running so he would see what type of shoe, arch support and how my feet react to impact. This is where I found my feet were different widths, that when running my ankles and leg we're a bit on a diagonal and could cause other stress. Ramsey then showed me the custom molded insoles. I decided to start with that. He heated up the insoles and then fitted them on me. We went over to the shoes, and he showed me other brands and options. One I liked but it felt too different as the heel does a rolling action when walking and running. We then tried some Saucony, Brooks and Asics. He suggested the Saucony's first. When I tried them on especially with the new custom insoles it was like my feet were singing "Hallelujah" ! I wasn't going to just buy the first pair. I tried on the Brooks and Asics as well as the cool ones that had that Heel Roll thing. It's still came down to the Saucony feeling and fitting the best. Ramsey had it right the first time. We also talked about future shoes and about me traveling to Finland and needing more comfort outside of running shoes, so he recommended more Custom Insoles. I made the plunge and got two more insoles as well. Ramsey and Road Runner made me a customer for life and my trip to Finland will be amazing this Dec especially being on my feet the whole time! read more

Conveniently located in bellevue, we are so impressed with the variety/ quality of shoes in the store and the knowledgeable staff. Kevin was super patient with us newbies and spent alot of time getting my husband and my fit right. We joined the VIP family for the benefits and 90 day guarantee, came in the following week again to check out more styles. spoke with Ramsey to see what are more options and he also graciously dealt with our painful exchanges with a smile on his face, amazing customer service! Leo the store manager also played a part sorting out our purchases. I can't say enough about this store and their customer service team. Came here looking for a pair of socks left with a lot of nice things. I was greeted by a few employees, they were all friendly and outgoing. Janae one of the fit experts noticed I was looking at a Nike reflective jacket, she got really excited over the fact that I was trying it on. She asked me to take my phone out and she would take a picture with the flash on, that jacket lit up like the night sky! I was amazed at how reflective the jacket was. She then told me a little more about the shoes in the store and process they go through to find the right shoes and fit for each customer. Went through shoe dog, an in store perk they have to find the right fit. Ended up buying shoes, a jacket, socks, custom insoles and a couple more items. My husband and I made our first visit to Roadrunner Sports in Bellevue, WA. yesterday. We were helped by Patrick who had only been working a few days at that store. We were impressed by the training he had already had to customize insoles and fit us for shoes. RS has an entire program built around that system. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and patient with us. We also bought some clothes which, unfortunately, didn't fit the way I preferred so I returned them today. I was helped by Darius who cheerily greeted me at the door and helped me return the shirts that didn't fit. He, too, was so friendly and outgoing. And, I noticed he took the opportunity to train Patrick, who was also there, about how to do returns. That showed me that teamwork is important to Roadrunner Sports. Logan was amazing. Like the Dr of shoe knowledge, care and no pressure buying. He even picked out great socks. A few weeks ago I chatted with ChatGPT about my goals for walking 5k a day. ChatGPT suggested On Running shoes. Without hesitation I purchased them thinking I was the smartest in the room. Unfortunately after 7 miles of walking, the pain in my feet made it unbearable to even walk. I thought it was the new shoes and the need to "break them in". After a few days of injury I went back to road runner and Logan immediately knew the problem. The On shoes had a firm speed board to make runners faster but not made for power walks. He suggested another shoe, took time with me while extremely busy, and got me in and out of the store very satisfied. I will take Logan's advice any day on shoes over ChatGPT. read more

My doctor recommended this store to me. I have Plantar Fasciitis and Neuropathy and having a walking shoe that fits correctly is so important. My sales person was Ramsey and I found him to be very helpful. He was knowledgable and after spending some time with me to address my concerns, he picked two different pair of shoes that he felt would be the best for my situation. Ramsey also told me about their custom arch supports that they make on the spot after taking exact measurements. Both pair of shoes that Ramsey had picked for me were spot on. After a few times on the treadmill, I finally picked the shoe that worked best for me. The arch supports have helped my Plantar Fasciitis immensely. I've visited this store two times in the last 3 months and have had the good fortune to be assisted by Ramsey both times. He is delightful and knows his stuff. He went the extra mile to fit my wife, daughter, and myself with multiple pairs of shoes each. I strongly believe that shoes are something that need to be bought in person -- not online -- but checked prices online afterwards and was surprised to see that the in-store prices were comparable or even better! Didn't find what I was looking for, however....with Ramsey's help, I did find a few other items that worked well as a substitute. I came in unaware of the "WOW" experience ive heard so much about and all i can say is WOW. Upon walking in i was imediately greeted by Ramsey who guided me towards a great shoe. Absolutely fantastic experience. I was helped by Sayer - he was awesome. I'm not a runner - just a guy who has had 5 back surgeries and needed the most ultra "gushy" shoes possible to absorb walking impact. However, my research said there was an Ecco store in the mall and I remembered the most comfortable shoes I ever owned were dress shoes Ecco like 30 years ago. So I didn't pull the trigger on the Timberlands and went to find the Ecco store. Ecco didn't have the widest selection, but I expected that. But I was suprised that they had an urban hiker type boot that was waterproof. It didn't just fit well, it made my feet feel GOOD. OMG I have been so used to wearing crappy utilitarian boots that I didn't realize how unhappy my feet were. Service was excellent and personal. And bonus, boots were 25% off for Labor Day. I don't think I've ever been more happy with a purchase and shopping experience.....and I'm saying that as a middle-aged guy with almost no patience for shopping, especially for clothes or shoes. Say yes to happy feet, people.

I found that the made in France Mephisto shoes with natural rubber soles were quite comfortable, but my feet were just a little bit too wide for them and were hanging over the sole on the side. I have been in a lot of shoe stores lately and I really appreciated that he didn't want to argue with me about what my foot did - or didn't - need! He was very nice about "this one might work, try it and we will see." These are very high quality shoes, made to be kept for a long time and resoled. I hadn't tried on this brand before and I felt like there were stylish options (platform combat boots, black booties, etc) in addition to the more sensible options. These shoes are expensive but intended for folks that will keep them for a long time. It was an entirely pleasant experience even if I didn't buy shoes.

Our server was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. We couldn't finish our dessert, and she even packed it up for us to take home, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great lunch spot inside Nordstrom. I'd definitely stop by again whenever I'm shopping here.

For Olympic bumper plates I can get higher quality ones online for half the price with free shipping! The cost-friendly equipment you can tell is very low quality. The squat racks all felt like low quality and thin steel compared to what I feel should be the standard too. Solid fail for gym equipment as a store, but if you need something NOW then I guess they have ok selection.

He knows his stuff! He even arranged for us to get a floor model from the Tacoma store so we could have it more quickly. Best part was how friendly and low-pressure he was as a salesperson. This may sound crazy but I want to go back to buy more fitness equipment here. Delivery folks were also excellent. It was a perfect transaction all around. I will recommend this store to my friends.
