The staff is friendly and there's good selections here. I rarely find stuff that doesn't have my size. One time I bought a towel and the cashier scanned it and told us that we should be getting a bundle for that price so he saved us some value there. I've been here many times and noticed that when the line gets long they automatically very quickly add more cashiers to accommodate and the long line disintegrates quickly. Value, service, selections and efficiency what more can you ask for.

I found that the made in France Mephisto shoes with natural rubber soles were quite comfortable, but my feet were just a little bit too wide for them and were hanging over the sole on the side. I have been in a lot of shoe stores lately and I really appreciated that he didn't want to argue with me about what my foot did - or didn't - need! He was very nice about "this one might work, try it and we will see." These are very high quality shoes, made to be kept for a long time and resoled. I hadn't tried on this brand before and I felt like there were stylish options (platform combat boots, black booties, etc) in addition to the more sensible options. These shoes are expensive but intended for folks that will keep them for a long time. It was an entirely pleasant experience even if I didn't buy shoes.

For the most part, items are organized and store is clean...unless it's during the holiday craze where everyone seems to be shopping here! Regardless, this location is one to check out if you're a Madewell fan. Plus, the customer service is top-notch. Employees are very friendly and there's always someone who is ready to help you get a fitting room, take your items and find different sizes of the items you've tried on. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. So I didn't pull the trigger on the Timberlands and went to find the Ecco store. Ecco didn't have the widest selection, but I expected that. But I was suprised that they had an urban hiker type boot that was waterproof. It didn't just fit well, it made my feet feel GOOD. OMG I have been so used to wearing crappy utilitarian boots that I didn't realize how unhappy my feet were. Service was excellent and personal. And bonus, boots were 25% off for Labor Day. I don't think I've ever been more happy with a purchase and shopping experience.....and I'm saying that as a middle-aged guy with almost no patience for shopping, especially for clothes or shoes. However, I do like the convenience of shopping in store when I need something right away. I will say the parking lot of the Bellevue store always makes me jittery when going there because the spaces are tight or awkwardly designed. Not to mention the amount of cars circling the parking lot makes me concerned about fender benders, which leads me to avoid it if I can.
