Sorry to nearby guest if we were too loud. We were all just so happy to be together. We enjoyed time at the nearby lake watching the sun go down, swimming in the pool, playing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows (which was generously provided by the hotel), and playing board games. Food was also easy to order and delicious. So convenient to be able to grab complimentary coffee with our breakfast, which was yummy. Yogurt bowl, with the berry compote was my fav. Overall my family really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Thank you Coachman staff!! Also thank you to Liz who coordinates group reservations! She is extremely helpful and kind. It's within walking distance of Heavenly Village, restaurants, shops, and other attractions, so we hardly had to drive. The price was also much more reasonable compared to many of the nearby hotels, making it a great value. The champagne at check-in is a nice touch. If there's a line, sit by the fire in the lobby or the one outside while you wait. Rooms are good sized, especially the mini suites. Small things keep this from getting five stars: * No true desk area with plugs if you have to work * Lights in bathroom are dim making it harder to shave * Bed is very comfortable but pillows are mid Spa is very nice. I appreciate the steam room and the shared quiet room with snacks. The heated outdoor jacuzzi is epic -- I may have stayed in it for 30 mins. Massages are resort priced but excellent. Food is high quality and good variety. (Will review separately) Lots of onsite activities, especially during summer. Almost all of the staff are over the top friendly. The room was spacious and had all of the comforts you could ever want: soft, plush beds, a large bathroom with ample vanity space, large walk-in shower, and massive bathtub. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the beach watching the sunset over Lake Tahoe. I love that they offer fun activities such as board games and s'mores around the fire. They offer morning, yoga classes by the lake as well as lawn games like cornhole. The pool looked wonderful, although we did not partake. This is definitely a spot you would want to come if you were celebrating a wedding or an anniversary. Since my husband and I were traveling with our dogs, we needed a place that could accommodate them. I selected a king room and booked through Airbnb. When we arrived, getting into the room was easy enough using the lockbox code that was provided to us. The room itself was quite dated and dingy. The walls were paper thin and we could hear everything from our neighbors on either side of us. The kitchenette was convenient, but the stove was very old. We appreciated the mini fridge and being able to store some of our camping supplies in there overnight. The shower pressure was weak and the temperature control on the water was inconsistent. My shower started out ice cold but when someone in the room next-door flushed the toilet, my shower turned scolding hot. The shower tile was grimy and the entire bathroom just felt not entirely clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the curtains in the room provided little to no privacy from the outside. The Wi-Fi hardly worked and if anything, was slower than our typical cell phone service. Given the price we paid for a single night, I would have expected much more.

The checkin process is easy and self serve. They'll email you your cabin number and the passcode to open the key lock to obtain the key to your cabin on your day of arrival. There's one parking spot in front of your rented cabin, but there are ample parking spaces on the street or nearby. There's a porch with chairs and table if you like to sit on and enjoy your morning coffee and late evening sip of hot chocolate. We were impressed with the spaciousness and coziness of the cabin we rented. There's a cute living room with a convertible couch. We love their vaulted ceiling and quaint decorations. The kitchen area is clean and fully equipped with everything you may need for your stay. There's also a full fridge with freezer for you to store your perishable food or chill your alcoholic beverages. A full bathroom and a master bedroom are located in the back of the cabin. My puppy and I were excited to discover the stairs leading to the loft upstairs. Going up the stairs, you'll find 2 more sleeping area with 2 full beds each, enough to fit 4 more adults. The loft looks out into the living room and kitchen area. Though we only had 2 people and 1 dog in our group, we believed the cabin could fit up to 6-8 people and would be perfect for big group. Another merit about the cabin is that it's dog friendly. They charge you extra fees if you have dogs with you though. Make sure to check with them first before booking. The only complaint we have is that the beds might have bed bugs. Both of us got bitten and itchy all over our bodies. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

It's a cozy little cabin, living room, kitchenette which is stocked with a lot of cooking utensils, a bedroom in the back with a queen bed, one bathroom (tub & shower), & a little staircase that leads up to a loft with a full size bed. It's nicely decorated inside, & has plenty of room for unpacking if you're doing a longer stay. Plenty of lighting, & it stayed nice & warm, despite being surrounded by heaps of snow. Couple little downsides. There was a little bit of trash thrown around the outside of our cabin from the previous tenants. The tub doesn't really look clean, & the couch had some rips/stains on the pillows. Whenever I travel, I bring my own pillow, towels and several blankets to put down over other peoples furniture, I would suggest doing the same. We stayed here for two nights, & both nights the circuit breaker went out. The first night we realized that the little plug in space heater took too much energy, so my husband reset the breaker. Then it happened again just now, except everything went out, & all of the houses went out too. They did get over quickly & get everything turned back on expediently though. But overall, it was a pleasant place to stay for our two days in the area. About 5 minutes from one of the main roads for shopping and restaurants, & 15 minutes from Heavenly Village. It is a little roundabout of 12 cabins tucked away in the pines, & we felt very safe and comfortable here. We would definitely stay here again!

The location is about 8 mins from Stateline and there are great places to eat within a couple of mins. I am planning on booking multiple rooms and bringing 2 or 3 other couples up there for a weekend getaway and it can't come soon enough. The rooms are cozy and there is not a lack of hot water or water pressure (if that is something you are concerned with). I also have to give a HUGE shoutout to Nancy who is one of the owners. She graciously let us reschedule our trip due to in-climate weather and she could have easily charged us more or put a fee onto the price that we paid, but she didn't. Sorry for rambling on.
