The caverns are very high and big, lots of space so it's cool to see. There are super big formations, but most are dead, would have been amazing if the flowstone were alive and glistening white, majority was ugly grey and dead. They have farm animals outside you can feed, a jungle gym and swing set. It's a nice area and was a nice time read more

I love visiting caves! The tour guide was interesting and very informative. It did feel like it was summer camp and everyone's summer job here. The tour guides were mostly high school students and you can tell there's summer camp here. But the caves themselves were very cool to look and very cooling for the summer. Definitely worth a visit at least once. read more

Our first cavern tour ever! Our tour guide Robin made it fun and interactive. We were grateful for the 52 degree temperature inside the caverns in contrast to the humid 85 degrees on the outside. Experiencing cave darkness was memorable and intense. My favorite area was where we could see the crystal clear pond in the cave floor. Next to the visitor center are some goats, alpacas, and a turkey. Also there's a cage with a blue and white peacock. I wish the peacocks had more space to roam, as mentioned by another Yelper. read more

PROS: very cool cavern! Huge, many tunnels, and history behind it is neat. Ian the tour guide was amazing! Loads of parking, affordable, big gift shop, walk-in's welcome CONS: you need to walk up and down a 70 step staircase which some people can't do OVERALL: unless you have a challenge taking on a large staircase I highly recommend coming here as it'll blow your mind! read more

This is a really nice place! Three things I would suggest: I think the white peacock needs more space (ie its cage was the span of its feathers only), the tour could be shorter to allow us to wander and take pics (ended up being about 1.15), the ticket lady should stop calling grown women 'hun' and the man behind endorsing her. Beyond that it was an amazing experience with a friend. The caverns are somewhat large and wet and I even bumped my head on them! lol After this place we found Tanger outlets to shop around in and you can grab a Starbucks there too! Overall I highly recommend but it could use improvement but not large! read more

Unique and interesting cavern experience. Our tour guide gave us a few laughs and a lot of educational tips about the cave and surrounding land, just wish she slowed down a bit to understand everything she was saying. (There is a LOT of info to cover in a short time) What felt like a quick tour was just shy of an hour where we were led to beautiful areas. Truly takes your breath away and pictures never do justice! To be transported to literally another underground world is mind blowing read more

We go to lots of cavern tours. My daughter took the rock phase of her life and went all in on it. Now we visit tons of caverns and tbh I've learned quite a bit from them. If you're a cavern tour person, I would say this place is somewhere between the super commercialized one, versus the smaller caverns where the tours are super personal. Imo - I'm a huge fan of the tours where they're more personal and smaller in size. It feels more personable and I feel like we learn more when you do. To be completely transparent, I seem to get quite annoyed when I see people touching the walls n stuff. When you get to these super commercial ones it seems like people care less. Overall, this is a great win. Our tour guide was very informative and pleasant to be with. I would definitely go again, however, I'd try my best to pick a time where no one was around. I really enjoyed seeing this cavern and the overall set-up of the place. Our tour guide was Ben and he was very engaging. Loved the stories about the town hermit that lived in this cavern for 19 years and was found dead in there on one of the rocks with a treasure chest and book. Neat history! Great time on the tour! For the rest of the place: -Service by the woman in the gift shop was not friendly. 0/10 stars there. -Prices seem high considering they packed over 20 people on a tour and had multiple tours and even a party tour going on at the same time. Seems like this could be better organized so people aren't waiting for other tours to pass often on the tour or in our case are on the tour but there's so many people you can't even see half the stuff the tour guide is talking about. -Petting area was neat but possibly this needs to be regulated a bit more. Seems like people were just over there feeding the animals leaves and whatever scraps they could find to avoid buying the food for sale. It's a do it once and never come back kind of place in my honest opinion. read more

Sooo worth a visit! Pre-purchased tickets for a 10:30-11:30am tour before Hershey Park opened at 12:00pm on Saturday since it's only 10 min away. The access inside the cave was more than many other caves - were went in dead ends and higher up. The tour and stories were fascinating! Must be able to handle stairs to get down to the cave entrance and some stairs inside the cave. read more

It was extremely fun going on this tour of the cavern. Our tour guide was great. Very knowledgeable and made lots of jokes about the cavern. Overall, the entire tour was a little under 1 hour. I was surprised at how dark it was once the lights were turned off. It was fun to walk through inside here, as some sections had low ceilings, and other sections were narrow and uphill. So you had to watch your surroundings. You definitely get a mini workout in here. But it's nice to see nature at its finest. Had a fun time visiting here. read more

What a great experience!! My boyfriend and I wanted to explore a cavern! We found out about this one in the hotel we were staying at . The tour is about an hour long, but it's worth it! A decent amount of walking...some stairs, some ramps, and some low rocks so you have to "duck." I'm 5'1 and I still had to "duck." It's also wet. You will get dripped on and walk in puddles. BUT the water is so pure and not dirty. Our tour guide, Mia, was great and full of energy and had a good sense of humor. There's a lot of history within this cavern that's very interesting. Fun fact: You can't touch the rocks because then they will reject water and die. We had a great time! read more

What a great spot! Really beautiful natural cave with an incredible natural and social history to it. My tour guide was really knowledgeable and answered our questions easily. It's not accessible and requires a lot of stairs (which they warn you about in advance). It's also chilly so wear a sweater even in the summer (it's refreshing in the major heat). They offer regular tours throughout the day, and a good place to wait or explore if your timing is off. The admission price is reasonable. They have other options like panning for gems that you can pay more for (I didn't, but I know it's popular with kids). They have a cool gift shop that has some more historic artifacts. Worth a visit! Only takes an hour (if you only do the tour). read more

Who doesn't like to go into an old Indian cave and explore all that it has to offer? Well this is exactly that as it's an old cave that has a full tour to go with it that is beyond informative about all that's inside this amazing cave! While this might be a total tourist trap it's definitely more or less something that is an all around fun experience from start to finish that's perfect for all ages as once your in the cave it has a whole path that's lit up making for a really cool and beautiful experience! Overall this was a really cool way to spend a hour as this cave had a ton of really cool features inside that was just as beautiful as it was informative. With that said who knows if I'll ever come here again but if you haven't been here then it's definitely a cool place else check out! read more

Ughhhhh!!!!! I went there today and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This is a historical site with an abundance of potential, however, instead of speaking about the use of the cavern by Native Americans, it was mostly about the commercial gain of the current owners. The history of the site is completely WHITE WASHED and has no accurate historical lessons. The tour consisted of not only commercial gain, but also fabricated stories and fairy tales. The tour guide referred to Native Americans as "Indians" the whole time which is tremendously disrespectful to the culture. The graffiti pointed out in the tour was also a waste of time, that's not what I am there to see. Also the verbiage used was distasteful when describing the Native Americans, " an extinct breed of people"....... that's just disgusting. read more

We visited PA for a concert and this was not on our planned sightseeing itinerary. We saw the big sign off the freeway and decided to check it out. If there's a long line, don't worry. It goes relatively fast. We were given our tour time and visited with the animals while we waited. The caves were amazing!! Our tour guide was Jack and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very patient with and accommodating to our friend who walks slowly with a cane. Definitely recommend visiting this unique spot. read more

Indian Echo Caverns was one of our stops on our Central PA trip, and one of the highlights of the trip. Sure, it's smaller and not as famous as Luray Caverns in Virginia, but Indian Echo Caverns is pretty cool too. Tickets are $18.50 for adults and $12 for children -- not as expensive as Luray Caverns and include a professionally trained guide giving you a tour of the caverns. I did not realize how big the caverns actually were until I was inside! I imagined it to be a small cave, but it is huge and goes pretty deep. The whole place is located under the farm on site and the farm's parking lot. The temperature of the caverns stays at a constant temperature of 52 degrees year round, which I was excited about, because it was freezing cold outside, and I could not wait to go in. My party of three made the last tour of the day. We purchased our tickets from the gift shop, and met our guide at the entrance of the caverns. We were the only three people and enjoyed a small and intimate tour. The tour lasted 45 minutes and exceeded expectations. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. After the tour, we spent a few minutes checking out the gift shop before it closed. While walking to our car, we saw some goats and alpacas in an enclosure. This is a farm after all! There was a machine dispensing snacks for the goats and alpacas for $0.50 (if I recall correctly). We bought some and fed the goats for a bit. The alpacas were hiding in the shed and wouldn't come out. Indian Echo Caverns is only a few miles away from Hershey Park! So if you're looking for other stuff to do in the Hershey area, be sure to add Indian Echo Caverns to the list. read more

First time visiting these caverns in PA. So this review is my first cavern visit in PA. We made it inside just as a thunderstorm rolled in! Our tour guide Patrick shared his knowledge on the caverns history and some humorous anecdotes. The tour was about 30 minutes, 10 of which we had to hear the cries of a terrified toddler echo through the caverns. They have an aviary with a white peacock! On the grounds there's a gazebo, goat and alpaca farm, picnic table and ample parking. read more

What a disappointing experience. We started off with my friend being treated poorly by an extremely rude cashier who obviously didn't want to be there. My friend couldn't pay with her wives credit card because she doesn't have the same last name. (REALLY?! That's still a rule? No credit card company has that rule.) Thankfully, I had my card with me and could pay and my friend Venmo'd me. But, I also received a poor attitude from the cashier. We brushed it off and visited with the goats and peacocks and then the playground before our tour started. The tour itself was cool. The tour guide had a lot of energy and was really enthusiastic. He shared some great stories. The cave was a pretty cool experience. We had my friends three adopted daughters with us and they enjoyed the experience. Afterwards the girls did the mining bags of sand and that was a lot of fun too! The worst part of the trip was a couple days after when I looked on my bank statement and realized they had charged my card an additional $5!!!! (THEY KEPT THE RECEIPT SO I HAVE NO PROOF!!! -They use the receipt as your ticket to get into the cave. So, you have to hand it back to the tour guide.) How sneaky and dishonest. They must have helped themselves to a $5 tip. I couldn't believe it but I'm positive they charged me $5 more (because I had told my friend the exact amount to Venmo me...) But I can't call to complain because I don't have a receipt as proof. IF YOU GO HERE - ASK FOR A SECOND COPY OF A RECEIPT. read more

One of the first things we did when we first moved out here was explore the caves! We had never been in one and our kids were just having a blast. We got to walk around and check out a lot of the cavern. Definitely recommend going on a warm day to fully experience the coolness of the caverns. Can't wait to do this again! read more

I'm really glad we got to experience this beautiful cavern! The tour guide was very informative and made history very fun! I'm glad that something like this exists and I love seeing what nature holds for us. Some tips: -the cavern is very cold and might be wet, non slip shoes & shoodie/coat would be a good add on -don't go if you can't handle darkness, noises, tight spaces. -the climb back up the stairs was a little difficult for us. (I have a knee injury) but if taken slow it'll be alright. read more

It's an amazing cavern, with a really good tour that includes cool history of the place and some fantastical stories. There is an under/construction gift shop. Above the ground there is a strangle little zoo with goats, chickens, a Turkey, an alpaca and a few other creatures - the smallest of kids will surely love this. Be careful, there is an alarming presence of yellow jackets everywhere. Prices have risen to $20 per adult ticket... a bit steep but I suggest you do this your once while in the Hershey area. I think overall it's not bad. The tour guide probably makes or breaks the trip. The older ladies in the gift shop are kind of grumpy. Neat. Safe. Good cavern formations. We stopped here to wrap up our weekend and it was so worth it. Our tour guide Michael was such an informative guide he made the experience that much better. The caverns were beautiful and nice and cool from the hot sun. The gift shop was amazing and they give you the option to pan for gems like the old time miners which my kids enjoyed so much. They also have a little petting zoo and a playground for the kids. My first time at a cavern tour will definitely not be my last thanks to this business. I recommend anyone thinking of taking this type of experience to visit the Indian Echo Caverns!!! read more

This place was pretty cool and I'm glad I had a chance to experience it. We ended up getting tickets for the caverns which included the petting zoo- my daughter and niece had a good time reaching over and petting the goats although both were nervous at first. We saw the most beautiful peacocks ever sitting in a cage in the center of it all and we had the chance to take some really nice videos and photos of them. When it came to the caves- the price was a bit steep but luckily they had military discount which saved me $8.50 so I was happy about that. The total still came out to close to 60 bucks for 2 adults and one child. The caves was a tour that lasted about 45 mins and you are taken in this dark cave that luckily is guided with lights. It was so beautiful under there and we took a lot of great pix. This was the first time I've seen anything like this and it was amazing! The highlight of our trip to Elizabethtown for sure. Note to those with back problems, there are some spots where you have to duck down low and there are a lot... I mean a lot of steps! Wish I known that before going on... at one point I had to have my niece assist me up and down the steps- which was embarrassing. This was a really awesome spot to take kids of any age. read more

Excellent tour and especially the gentleman who was our guide...I don't recall his name but he was great! Caverns were fantastic and so interesting. And seeing the goats and alpacas when we came out of the cavern was a treat! You can purchase food to feed them as well. Also great gift shop with many unique items. This is a small business running this arcade and it was a great experience. The age range of us are young adults around 18 and older. And the arcade games were fun for us as adults, so you can imagine your child would love it too. Please keep in mind we did not try the following: food, baseball cage, or mini golf area. The games are like a snippet in the past. There are SpongeBob related games which feels like the 90's in the arcade. A lot of the games are ball-based or involve hitting your target. This is a refreshing difference of modern games which are very screen-based. The staff were amazingly friendly! They did a great job with working with us and many parents and kids coming in and out. There were a few ticket machine problems but the situations were rectified quickly. Also the staff gave tips and tricks for which games were most fun to play. In our mid-March 2026 visit, there was a SAAB exhibit and a large section with hot rods & souped up old cars. The cars shown are mostly US ones. Tickets are reasonably priced. What we saw had a lot of 1950s - early 1960s emphasis. Some exhibits gave me a "Happy Days" vibe. Others got me thinking of the Beach Boys SoCal tunes. There were interesting side exhibits for drive-in theatres & roadside diners. We could step into the counter area of the diner. Ask for Flo ;-) Other eras represented as well, including the earlier half of the 20th Century. If you are the area & like cars or US pop culture history, this a great spot to visit.

The Bears have an amazing winning record. Years ago, when the Manitoba Moose (the AHL farm team of the Winnipeg Jets) was making its playoff run, it had a series against the Hershey Bears. Like the passionate hockey fan that I can be, I did a road trip from Markham to Hershey, PA. I also visited the Hershey store while I was in the city. I love Hershey's chocolate, but I was here for the game. I attended game 4 of the playoffs series. I remember speaking to a parking attendant and paying for parking. She said, "Go, Bears!" to me. She didn't realize that my vehicle had a Ontario licence plate and I was likely cheering for the opponent. I don't recall getting any snacks or drinks during the game. I do recall having a decent view of the rink and being sad that the Moose had lost against the Bears in that game. Bears fans are passionate folks. It was nice to see. One of these days, I'll need to return and take in an AHL game. I wasn't on Yelp back then and didn't take a ton of photos. I will next time. (354)

Season Ticket Holder Perspective (Section 104, Row C, Seats 1 & 2)…read more If you're going to do hockey in Hershey, you do it at the Giant Center and my seats (Section 104, Row C, 1 & 2) are chef's kiss for Hershey Bears games. Three rows off the ice means you feel every hit, hear every skate carve, and occasionally get a good "did-I-just-flinch-at-a-puck?" moment. And if you're lucky you might just get a puck! The view straight across the ice is fantastic. Now... the view down toward the far goal on the right? Yeah, no. The distortion from the glass is rough. It's like watching hockey through a funhouse mirror. You'll catch the general idea but don't expect crystal clarity unless the play comes back your way. Sound System for Bears Games: Let me be blunt... it's aggressively loud. Like "why am I being yelled at by speakers during warm-ups?" loud. If you're sensitive to sound, bring earplugs or prepare to be spiritually tackled by the decibel levels. Concerts: This is where the Giant Center gets unpredictable. Most concerts I've seen here suffer from rough acoustics... muddy sound, too much reverb, and vocals that disappear into a void. BUT Trans-Siberian Orchestra on 11/23/25? Shockingly great. Crisp, powerful, balanced. It was the rare show where the sound team actually tamed the concrete cavern. Parking: Oh boy. Getting in and out is a nightmare. It is chaos every single time. Too many lanes funneling into too few exits. Every event at Hershey Park, Hershey Stadium AND the Giant Center all fighting for the same roads. If you come here often, pack patience and maybe a snack for the car. Food & Concessions: Perfectly average venue fare, nothing amazing, definitely nothing healthy, and priced like it's made of truffles and hopes. You're paying for convenience and location, not culinary excellence. Overall: This is our local go-to venue, and I'll always show up for my Bears and the big touring acts. The energy is great, the games are a blast, and concerts can be magical when the sound behaves. But between the parking mess, inconsistent acoustics, and sensory-overload sound levels at games, it's far from perfect. Still... it's Hershey. It's home. And I'll be back in my same seats next week yelling for the Bears.
