I walked in and seriously, I thought I had something on my face lol. I knew immediately this wasn't where I was going to be shopping. (There was super friendly woman outside that smiled and said hello as she was doing something outside, but it stopped there) I'm not sure if it was the clientele that were giving the looks or workers. Actually one was a worker because she had a ton of clothes in her hand she was re-racking and I got a grunt as she walked by, so that was my cue to get out of the way and go. I was looking cute too! Lol I was out for my birthday day (my friend took me out for a day of shopping and celebrating) so it's not like I came in smelling from just working out or something. Maybe it was because they closed in a hour? Or they were tired from what looked like a party they had during that day? However the clothes were cute and surprisingly priced decently for the little I was able to look at before we left. I LOVE Eve's Revolution! It's located in Old Colorado City in an adorable little house. You wander the hallways and rooms, shopping the clothing, jewelry and accessories that line the walls. They have a great selection of clothing. I ALWAYS find something to walk out with! I love that they have many different styles from trendy and BoHo to classic and dressy. Don't forget to check out their jewelry selection. It isn't very big but they usually have outfits styled with interesting pieces displayed. I love coming in and finding style inspiration! They also have several dressing rooms which are creatively placed in corners throughout the shop. Huge plus! Eve's is moderately to expensively priced, which is pretty typical for a high-quality boutique shop, so it is right on par. And, they have very friendly and helpful staff. I have been a fan of Eve's since she opened, guessing but around 2004? Eve and her staff will always make you feel like a valued customer, even if you are just browsing. I love Eve's style and how she finds clothes, jewelry and accessories that are unique. The staff is awesome and so helpful, without being intrusive. I don't usually yelp stores, but Eve's revolution has been in the springs and successful for many years. An amazing selection of really good clothes, lots of unique little finds, and a great place to find gifts for friends, all situated in the quaintest little Victorian house imaginable. The nicest part of the experience though is the friendly helpful staff, literally upon entering the store I was offered a glass of pink champagne, how nice right? Eve's is one of the most fun places to go for shopping therapy. The staff is friendly and helpful and if something doesn't look right on you, they'll let you know (in a very nice way) They'll also help you put together a great outfit for any occasion. If you just need an accessory or a fun piece of jewelry, this is the place. More importantly, you won't find yourself (as my mother always said) "Coming and going" with the clothing. The pieces are unique and there aren't rows and rows of the same thing. You're treated like a diva when you visit Eve's and her special events are very nice. So in my Coastal snobbery, I didn't think that cute boutique's existed between the continental divide and the Mississippi River. Eve's Revolution made a believer out of me! What a find this cute little boutique is. It's a combination of new trendy clothes and consignment/vintage. After a couple of hours I walked out with a bagful of stuff and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable it all was. They even had a sweater that I bought at another one-of-a-kind boutique in Seattle, but of course the price was better at Eve's. I think I will make a pilgrimage here every time I am in town. read more

cannot believe how expensive the garb and accessories are in here, and moreover; how willing people are round here to pay that kind of money for clothing--most of which FYI are NOTgenuine vintage garments--this fact is obvious when you find/see more than one of the exact same article of clothing you are eyeing but it is in a different size. A 'made to look vintage' peice of clothing is so very different than authentic OOAK also known as; One of A Kind article of clothing. trust me, genuine vintaga apparel never has reproductions of the exact same design and body let alone the exact same print of course!, what a rip off! for instance i went in a took a look around at some sweet looking coats only to be seriously disapointed by ther inflated costs e.g. 180, 145, 110 dollars for various spring coats is robbery! read more

My "I'm flying to that thing tomorrow and need to look professional but cool" go-to place. I always walk out of Eve's with a better outfit than I'd hoped for, and often for under $75. Bonus: if you're trying on clothes and ask for an opinion from a salesgirl, she'll be as honest as a sister, if a bit more tactful. The staff is very helpful even when they see a strange looking guy wondering around the store in a panic to fine something unique for this wife on a special occasion. Okay so this review is long overdue. I bookmarked Eve's and visited while on a trip to see the in-laws back in Oct. What took me so long to review? Well, I guess it's just hard to put true love into words =) Now, I live in LA and have visited my fair share of great, hip, expensive, unique, etc...boutiques in my shopping life, not just here, but also in NY and beyond, and I have to say that if I could only shop in a couple stores the rest of my life, Eve's would definitely be on top of that list! Everything, and I mean everything, about this shop is perfection! I love the storefront, the selection, the prices, the vibe, and most of all Eve herself. She has created the most welcoming, and warm environment to shop. It's like going over to your best friend's house and just hanging out. I found the selection to be so well edited and the prices so reasonable. Every time I think about the store or get one of her great newsletters, I just smile and wish I lived closer...although that could be bad since I would spend way too much time and money there. I know I'm going on and on, but I can't say enough about how much I love this store. I can't wait to visit the in-laws again...I know, doesn't that say it all? J/K! =) read more

I had seen in a review that Eve and her staff help shoppers make the right selections. My first time in Eve's I eyed two sweater coats. I slipped on one. Eve said "that works on you" and to the other "too much fabric." I bought the first one. That afternoon I wore it and was stopped numerous times and asked about my jacket. One of my acquaintances piped up "You look like a model" (I'm 5'1" so that is a stretch of a compliment!) My sweater coat is unbelievably perfect for me-and they could tell right away.It is my first experience at Eve's, but certainly won't be the last. I felt served, not "saled" by the staff. read more
