Hobby Lobby is one of my favorite stores to visit during holiday times. They usually have the cutest decoration items. They have a variety of items for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I really liked the selection of ornaments they had this year. Prices can be compatible with the other stores. They have really good sales around holidays or after holidays. Employees are usually nice and friendly. The only complaint I have is the long lines. No matter how many cashiers are working , there is always a long line. Parking can be really challenging during the weekends. Sometimes it is really hard to find a parking spot. It is better to park close to Burger King since that area usually is not that crowded. read more

It's probably not a good idea thinking you'll be able to pick up some last minute Christmas decorations..lol... This location is BUSY regardless when you come. I've been in the morning as well as before closing. It's always busy. Guess it's a good thing on their part. Like mentioned, I don't recommend coming in for the last minute holiday decorations. You would think as it's early in December, they'll have some things left over. Well, majority of things are gone. Loads of the isles have been cleared already. I've even seen some employees taking down the fixtures already. It's good for them but if you're looking for the decoration, I do recommend coming early. Like a month or so. They have them out early and most are on sale. It's still half off for Christmas items. You'll still get things there as they have random stuffs. But majority of holiday items are gone. I don't know if they'll restock anything now but if you're not looking for something particular, I'm sure they'll have it. It's also a store that literally carries everything. It's basically a Joann's, Michael's and a Home Goods all under one roof. There's everything that you can want or need in a craft store of such. Also, why is it that all the store seems to be short with cashiers. There's always a massive line in the store and there's like 3, maybe 4 cashier. If you coming, just make sure not to be in a rush. First time at Hobby Lobby. Never knew we had one in Burbank and decided to go check it out to grab some foam heads I needed for a school project. Man oh man, I was overwhelmed coming here. It is a huge store, bigger than both the Targets located in North Hollywood. The crazy part is that it is all just arts and crafts so much stuff. So much art, so many colored pencils, markers, and foams just stuff to create art with. I was overwhelmed and it took me a minute to find all the stuff I needed. I took a huge tour myself, and man, I saw stuff I never knew existed. It took me 2 hours to explore the store. The staff here was really nice; since it was my first time, I found myself asking for help maybe 10 separate times. I don't know why Michaels and Joann are more known when Hobby Lobby literally has it all and more. The greatest part is the prices are great, and they have so many deals going on. Moving forward I will be coming here only for my arts and crafts needs. What a great find! read more

I absolutely love this store! The decorations, variety, prices ... however I had the worse experience yesterday! I went to quickly grab a door mat and went to cash register, I handed a $20 to cashier and she didn't say anything to me and called the manager then she is talking to her like I'm not there, asking her to check the bill because looks weird! The manager said it's not then they started check with lights and some other thing and I'm still waiting until she says u are good to go! No explanation or apologies! As I said I love that store and I'll go again for sure but just suggesting to train the staff better and advise them about customer service! read more

Called to see if they had an item in stock but they only had 1 and I needed 11. Worker said they would need to make a special order and if the warehouse had it, it would arrive at the end of the week. I asked them to give me a call to let me know whether or not the warehouse had the item in stock to send over. Surprise surprise, no call. I called in and now a different worker tells me they ordered it but it did not arrive that week and there is no way for the warehouse to notify them whether or not they have an item in stock. Told me to call again the next week and just wait to see if they would receive it with that weeks shipment. Someone tell corporate to update their tracking system and customer service for items being ordered. If it's not an option, say it's not an option from the beginning instead of making people call in and wait for items that are never going to come. read more

This was quite the large Hobby Lobby, compared to the one we used to have in Dublin (Northern California). I was really impressed that the week before Thanksgiving, there were still certain Christmas items that would have been sold out at my store. These included Christmas papers (6"x6"). Also, there was a Tesla charging station accessible when going around the backside of the store. My family needed to charge significantly before heading up north. This shopping center had an Aldi (sis says it's like a budget Trader Joe's), a HomeGoods (suitable alternative to HobLob for Mom), and a Burger King (great for greasy-spoon lovin' Dad). As with any Hobby Lobby, give yourself 20-30 minutes to check out on a weekend, especially at Christmas. The lines are long, the cashiers are few. read more

Visited this place on Saturday evening, the parking lot itself was super busy and i was able to find a spot far away from the chaos. I was not aware that this particular weekend the store was having half off almost everything so the lines were super long, even the return lines were long. I came by to check out the hello kitty gear but nothing attracted me, instead I did buy a few other things like stickers and some Christmas gifts were crossed off the list. I recommend visiting this store as early as possible and taking your time to look around as you will find something to buy for sure. read more

If the south did ever rise again they would do so at this Hobby Lobby. If you live in California but hate California this is the place for you! "our god is an awesome god" instrumental version plays over the speakers as I walk through the store, fruitlessly looking for halloween decorations that the powers that be deem are too sacrilegious to sell. Aisles and aisles of inoffensive orange and white pumpkins line the stores, but not a single ghost or goblin to be found. While they claim to be too godly for halloween, they are happy to sell Christmas ornaments that would send Peter, John, Paul, and the other one into a coma. Tacos? Cowboy boots? Chinese take out boxes? Who is buying these and hanging them on their trees?? It was also incredibly hot in the front of the store, 104 degrees outside, and I overheard a brave employee who will go unnamed mentioning that the store managers won't allow them to have fans near the cash registers anymore. I received excellent detailed customer service from a lovely lady named Tony in fabrics. Not only was I lucky enough to get her on the phone when I called, but I met her in store and she helped me navigate a game plan for some fabric needed for all black cotton table cloths . I will most definitely be back and plan to spend more time in this store. The prices are extremely reasonable considering the expensive times we are currently in. read more

I just love Hobby Lobby, so many great holiday decorations and they have great home and garden options to decorate as well. They have an amazing selection of arts and crafts, discounts on almost everything! The only thing with these store, I wish they had more employees working, when ever I have a question or looking for a product, I can't find anyone. I love Hobby Lobby's decor items but, in my opinion, their paper plates and napkins are the worst. The plates are pretty but very flimsy and their napkins reek of formaldehyde. It must be the dye in the napkins. I couldn't even use them for my guests because the smell was so pungent. It may sound petty, but I returned the opened and unopened packages to Temecula Hobby Lobby, where I purchased them. I wanted the manager to know that the napkins had a bad odor and maybe they should deal with a different company. She didn't care in the least and wouldn't give me a credit on the opened package, which I felt she wouldn't anyway. I bought a lot of cute Christmas decorations few weeks ago. The store is big and well stocked at all times. The reason for the 4 stars is for customer service. The cashiers are nice and friendly but the supervisors that are near the cashiers are horrible at customer service. The way they talk to the cashiers is disrespectful and God forbid you ask them a question about an item. They just flip out. I wish I took the name of the last supervisor I dealt with. I was in the area and this store was very messy nothing was placed away properly. Looks like they began to place things away and never finished. Every other hall walk way was slammed with boxes. Just was inconvenient to pass by. Every cashier was open but looked like nothing seemed to have prices so it made the waiting time longer.(waiting in line) Just inconvenience for me since I was with my special needs child. I hate writing a bad reviews especially for this place. I was there today just to buy one item and ended up in line for 30 mins?! They had only 3 registers opened but they had many employees working the floor. I'm not quite sure why they wouldn't open more registers when they see that each line went all the way around the store. No lines were moving because each customer had bunch of xmas items like ornaments at least during the holidays, they should have an express lanes for customers who have less than 10 items. The reason why I'm writing this review too is because of the employees there. One girl decides to open her register. Instead of telling the people who waited for 30 mins she took people who rushed to her register from the back of the line who waited less than 5 mins! How is that right and fair? Lack of training and common sense in my opinion. They had many cute items for stocking stuffers or Christmas gifts but I'm taking my business elsewhere unfortunately. I don't think I would like to spend over 30 mins just in line to check out. read more

I brought in a signed movie poster that was very special to me and Nathaniel tricked me into getting the acrylic glass to help protect it only to give it back to me DAMAGED! It has a new red mark on it that is very noticeable. When I spoke to Jose he immediately filled out insurance papers but could see I was upset and got the manager Mike. Mike just stood there and said there's nothing else I can do. The only options he gave me was file the claim and either leave the poster with them or pay full price. CRAPPY OPTIONS BUT THERE'S NO WAY I'M LEAVING THIS POSTER WITH THEM AFTER THEY DAMAGED IT THE FIRST TIME. YOU THINK I TRUST YOU? I kept saying multiple times I can't believe I have to pay full price for a damaged poster when I ironically paid extra to protect it and you guys give it backed damaged. He just kept saying there is nothing else he could do. HOWEVER the two closing framing employees said they were shocked he didn't give it to me for free that's what they would have done! WHY DID I NEVER GET THAT OPTION YOU DAMAGED IT!? When I asked of them to call back Mike he said I already filed the claim so now I can't give the discount or for free. SO HE DID HAVE IT IN HIS POWER TO GIVE IT TO ME FOR FREE BUT DIDN'T OFFER AND LET ME STAND THERE SAD KNOWING HE WAS RIPPING ME OFF. He should have just given it to me for free because what is insurance going to do? They also didn't take a picture of the full poster before it was framed - VERY convenient for them. The photo they took cuts off the top where the damage is so the only proof I have is a somewhat cut off image of it I took at the store before it got framed and the image of it before it got signed. I got ripped off and they just stood there and watch me cry as I paid full price for their awful work. I have been a LOYAL customer! I got so many posters framed here but the one time I bring something in that is really valuable that they knew was important as they claimed they wanted to help protect it they damaged it! It irreplaceable. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't go there to get anything framed, it is not worth the price they will screw you over. They should give me my money back! Mike the manager needs classes on how to communicate ALL THE OPTIONS to customers so they show that they take responsibility for their mistakes but they don't care. He is terrible for not offering it to me for free which should have been the first option. Their insurance is only going to help them NOT ME! I wanted so long for WHAT?! A Damaged poster? It should have taken at most 1 day to get this framed. I didn't even buy a custom frame I was just waiting for the thing they claimed would PROTECT IT! LIARS! You ruined my most precious item.
