My first appointment went well and I was happy with the results. The second, meant to be a touch up, was lacking quality and the work looked sloppy. When I reached out to discuss correction I was received with attitude and criticism. When I went in to get my hair corrected, I was further met with attitude, disrespect, and ultimately disappointment. Furthermore, The business owner only wants cash but doesn't tell you that up front. She waited until she was rinsing out my color to tell me she only accepted cash. What they use the cash for is unknown, the salon is dirty and unkept, the bathroom never has hand soap, and the number of times my stylist picked up a hairbrush full of someone else's hair and used it on me made me sick. Not reliable, not hospitable, and not worth your time or money. read more

This is the worst salon I've been to as an adult. Luz highlighted my heavily grayed hair, and she didn't tone the root. I kept thinking is she not going to do my root? Is this a new method? No, the woman is the worst hair stylist I've ever had, and what is so bothering about it, is that she charged me 250 for a crap job that I have to fix within a week of getting my hair done. I came here about a year ago when I last cut my hair. I am so nervous with who touches my hair I don't cut it often. I needed a new look though and wanted to go short again! I researched salons near me and seen LV had 5 stars!! I looked at the pictures online, shared, on their social networks and decided this has to be it! I am so glad because Luz was perfect! The atmosphere is clean and inviting as well as her whole personality! She welcomed me with cheerfulness and was so positive in my big change of getting a bob-cut. Very gentle and a wonderful listener in wanting to understand your want and also share her tips and advise as a professional in a humble manner. Positive conversations and as someone who is faith driven, seeing her little faith decor and sharing her faith it was assurance for me I was in good hands! I had requested a balayage with Luz, a style she was doing on a client simultaneously. I spent 2 1/2 hours in the salon and spent $275. I have to say, I am a little disappointed with the service she gave me. First, a balayage goes from dark hair on the root to light tips (as I requested), so why do I have blond highlights next to my roots? I had dyed my hair purple a couple years ago, and there are pink bands that still exist in my hair, and Luz definetly pointed every single one of them out to me, multiple times, and when the hair had finished processing and drying, she pointed out that there is still pink and "I guess we've learnedfrom our mistakes." She absolutely judged me for dying my hair purple, when all she needed to worry about was getting the pink out of my hair and make it a balayage. I will not be returning to LV, i spent 275 dollars just to make my hair one shade darker. If I could get a refund, I definitely would. read more

The worse!!!! Don't even bother to waste your time! I should've been alarmed by her personality over the phone. SO RUDE! made me waste my time scheduling appointments just so that she can tell me that I should cut my LONG beautiful hair before dying it "oh and that is was SO DAMAGED" When I never do anything to my hair I wanted a new look that was it. OH AND THAT I HAD SO SO SO MANY DIFFERENT COLORS! (From where if I never done anything to my hair) lol she's CRAZY! She rejected me and said no that she's a professional! I am new in town and have to reestablish all my go to places. Let me tell you this salon did not disappoint! I found Luz through Yelp and decided to give the salon a try. Due to a cancellation she was able to take me the next day. She was very attentive and listened to every word I said before she started. I came in with gold-tone highlights that were 4-5 months old and overgrown small layers long hair. My hair needed attention and love. She sure gave it just that and she new exactly what she was doing, very professional, to say the least. I am so happy I found my go to hair salon and on the first try! Very lucky to say the least!!! Luz is a talented hairdresser and a nice person, but beware if you have any disagreement about the cut or color you want. She will give her opinion on what she thinks would look better. I thanked her, but held firm that I wanted the color I requested. She got very quiet, mixed up the color, turned me away from the mirror and did my lowlights. Then she rinsed and told me she was going to use a gold toner. I asked her to please use the platinum/ash toner I requested. She then offered to mix the two. I continued to hold firm. Once my hair was dried, I saw that she not only used the color she wanted for the lowlights, she also used the gold toner. I have spent the last year and a half trying to grow out all of the unwanted gold tones, because to correct them would mean going darker than I'm comfortable with. If you both agree on what you want, you'll have a great experience, but if not, walk out. read more

Great place and she got my color just right.. I was nervous because when highlights aren't done right it can be a total disaster.

I've had been wanting to do something drastic with my hair for a long time and luz (the hair stylist) listened to what I wanted and gave her professional opinion, she was amazing. I have never died my hair and wanted to do blonde and she recommended not going straight into it so it wouldn't be a shock. I trusted her and I'm glad I did because she did an amazing job and I am more than happy with my results! read more

Luz completely ruined my hair I came for a color correction with red orange hair hoping to accomplish a brown with highlights. She left my hair looking all kinds of colors my hair was past my chest and she cut it to my shoulders even when I told her I didn't want it that short. She also completely overcharged me, according to her website a hair cut is 45 and color correct 85 yet I paid 270 for a choppy uneven haircut and a mess of a hair. I literally cried I'm not sure why this place has great reviews but I feel totally duped,don't come here unless you want to end up like me. read more

Quoted $130 charged $200+, cut my Fiancé's hair randomly (3+ inches) when wasn't asked to, made excuses to when she messed up my fiancé's hair. "Luz" She said she was the owner of the place and seemed to have no experience in the profession. And on top of all this tried to hook up my fiancé with her son when my and I are obviously engaged and she (my fiancé) told her this and the lady continued to push the topic into the conversation, This place isn't professional, and wasn't worth even half the money I spent or the amount of time my fiancé sat in the chair for. I moved to El Paso a year ago and have tried a couple of different people, but they just didn't understand what I was asking them to do with my hair and could not get my color right. Then I found Andrea and she listened to what I wanted. I gave her my color formula and she was able to match it perfectly.
