i've been living here for almost 2 years and i haven't had one issue! maintenance is always on top of it if i have an issue, the front desk is always helpful when i have questions, rent is easy to pay and its a perfect spot for community activities and shopping centers. it's tucked away from the direct public so you don't have to worry about street traffic and not getting sleep. if i had to complain about one thing, it would be that i can't stay here longer. i love living here and would recommend it to anyone read more

I helped my mother move from one unit to the next. The complex is quiet and beautiful. There is a creek that runs through the complex with wildlife ( ducks, wild turkeys... yes turkeys, and I am certain I saw a white heron at one point), many squirrels, and everybody who has a dog picks up after themselves. My name is Melonnee. I lived at Spring Creek Apartments for over four years until I bought a home and moved several months ago. It's a beautiful complex with many nice amenities. The staff, is excellent, most especially Gordana - the Assistant Manager, who has the best customer service and professionalism I have ever experienced in doing business with any company. If something in my apartment needed repaired, I'd call the office and it would normally be fixed that afternoon or no later than within 24 hours. This complex is very large and Gordana handles each resident and situation with class, poise, care and prompt service. She works very hard and is the "gold standard" of customer service. Her work ethic is impeccable. She could run the place, working more like the manager than just the "assistant" manager. Hopefully the owner recognizes what a high quality employee she is, pays her well and compensates her accordingly, including raises and promotions - she deserves it! Could have swore I wrote a review for this place. But Yelp is urging me to complete a review. It's been 2 years since I lived here. Very beautiful park like setting, there's a creek running through the apartments that has wildlife come visit. A white heron, tons of squirrels, a family of ducks at times you can hear them scolding their baby ducklings. Mine was a studio. It was very shaded by the huge trees. Loved that spot. Staff was nice. Jill was amazing and so was Gordanna? I think that was her name. It was great for the first 3 months. Neighbors next door was a single mother with two kids who didn't go to school, probably home schooled. Then one day they got a sound system. I do t want to get into the logistics of the whole nightmare. But they let me out of the lease because I expressed how unhappy I was there. So after 8 mos I left! Perfect timing because in just one weekend I found a perfect apartment complex! Beautiful, not a ton of amenities, small complex. 4 apartments to a building. They are built in such a way that the living room is facing the outside of the building! So basically no noise! Super quiet! This neighbors understand they live in an apartment and are very quiet when they leave for work. They have parties during the holidays and what not, but as soon as 9:30 pm rolls around total silence!! And when the guest leave they whisper to each other good night! I love my home now! If it weren't for the worse apartment complex I ever lived in Spring Creek, I would have never found this extremely quiet, amazing neighbors, attentive front office staff, and now going on 3 years here. About to sign a new lease!! So! If you are thinking of living here and the only thing that's important to you is the nice staff ladies, and beautiful setting of the apartment complex then this place is for you! Towards the end when I moved out I started to see roaches so have the place sprayed before you move in, and clean it too. Because they won't clean it before you move in. One of the worst apartments ever, multiple people held at gun point on property, always a bunch of random families taking over the pool(that you can clearly tell don't live there), laundry room always dirty, broken and smelly! Fitness room always filled with kids that no one ever watches, it's really small, feels crowded with 2 people. Overall really expensive for not much. Look elsewhere read more

I've been living here for nearly 5 years. When I first moved in my rent was $1375.00, now it's up to $1750 which is rediculous for an Apt and an Apt without a washer and dryer. Since November specifically on Thanksgiving I started to see "Roaches" in my unit and I was told that they're coming up from the sewers. I'm li living out of buckets because I refuse to put dishes, food and cups in cabinets with Roaches. The management team Refused to reimburse me for my buckets and food I threw away as now 4 months later I've seen a total of 11 "Roaches" and noticed management every time. I was told no reimbursing would be available because they can't control pest from outside even though it's creating a negative environment on your propert? I was instead given the option of breaking my lease without penalty since I guess they're tired of my valid complaints. This building is too nice to have Roaches so I will be gladly be moving soon and wanted to share my experience after being in a unit for 5 years this is how I'm treated. I've cried so many times it's redicilous and I truly can't believe I threw away over $200 worth of food because their Apartments have Toaches and I'm forced to take a loss. read more

Not really sure what to think at this point. You see a lot of people with items on their front porches and most of the apartments have nice greenery and grass. But the back part seems so dirty and no one is allowed to "spruce up" their doorways like the rest of the property. It doesn't match the front half of the apartments and all the cameras make you feel like you have no privacy - especially when it counts to your guests. They need to train their staff and have better communication when telling residents what they can and can't do upon move in or even when actively leasing. The managers don't even have sympathy when things happen and already make their mind up about things on their terms. read more

Nice complex being worked on quiet complex with a play area for children and even a dog park so cute The units are small but comfortable and include a washer and dryer inside the unit what a plus - no need to stick pile quarters and lug your fiery laundry and fight for a washer or dryer. Been here for half my 13 month lease and really feel played . Dont let the 5 star reviews foul you , this place is overpriced for the little updates they take a long time to make and the only nice staff member they've hired (that I've encountered) is Jill . Without Jill I would have considered other places or probably would have not been welcome . And maintenance seem to be inexperienced. Staff are not willing to work with tenants to fix items around the complex, without an attitude (watch out for Gordana). They let me know, a full 30 days after the fact, that I double paid rent in Decemeber 2018. I was moving out on January 11th, so I already paid a prorated amount of 320 for the month of January. When I went in to get my money back, they gave me a $320 check and said that, that is what they owed me. I took the check home, checked their math, and found that they still owed me $555, to make up for my double payment in December. I called the Spring Creek Apartments and asked for their corporate phone number. Not only did they give me a bad number, but surely there after I received an email stating that they still owe me $555. It was like they were trying to see if they could get away with only giving me Januarys rent back, and once they were caught, they played it off. I had to try to call 2 different phone numbers (for their corporate office), provided by spring creek staff and neither number was good. Finally, another apartment complex called me back saying that I called the wrong number, and then researched Spring Creeks Apartments corporate for me. By law, they had 3 days to let me know of my double payment. I am still waiting to get my money back, and we are at day 45. These people either run a very unorganized office, or they are very untrustworthy. Please be very careful before you move in, as I am now having to resort to Fair Housing. read more

My wife and I have lived here since last December and I would say our experience has been so good because of the maintenance staff and because of Keisha, who works in the leasing office. We haven't had a ton of problems at all. Just a few minor things that the staff has taken care of in such a quick, timely manner. Keisha is so awesome because she really does great work, is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet, and you can tell she really cares. I just moved in about a week ago and I can honestly say. I hate this place. No one cleaned the place before I moved in. I myself whipped down the stove and also the microwave and took off a lot of grease. The floor I whipped were so black! And to top it off my A/C is broken and they said I can't be helped till the 5th? 100 degrees in this apartment... When I call the office they never can answer a question for me and always tell me they will call me back with that answer...... I have another 9 months in this place and I'm out. I lived at these apartments for a year and a half. At first, the lady who rented me the apartment and everyone in the office seemed super nice (to get you to move in, right?) The apartments are pretty nice, I moved into a one bedroom upstairs apartment, it had 3 closets which was nice to have extra space. When I first moved in, I went to the office because my mailbox key didn't work and the woman (I believe her name was Gail?) in the office made it seem like I was stupid and didn't know how to work a key. She walked out with me and said she'd show me. The key didn't work and I was given a spare. My laundry key didn't work either and the same employee did the same thing. Walked me to the other laundry room to "show me" and was proven that the key they gave me was defective. I was given the employee key to do my laundry that night since the facility by the leasing office was down for a few days. My apartment often reeked of pot, despite the MANY letters left on doors about no smoking. If you're handicapped, don't even think about parking in the designated space, because you will get yelled at, not once, but TWICE, and by two different employees on two separate occasions before they had even seen the placard (which my mother has on her license plate). The lady ran out yelling before my mother (who is handicapped!) was even able to get 2 steps out of her vehicle. Can't even begin to explain how rude that is. Overall, the apartment was decent enough (& decently priced - at the time) to stay through 2 lease durations. But the extremely rude employees make it hard to view that as a positive experience. read more

I just moved in, I have to say I have been very pleased overall with my entire experience with Spring Creek apartments! I would have given 5 stars but my only complaint is the construction on the weekends. I think it's great that they are renovating and making the complex more resident friendly and up-to-date. The construction during the week I don't mind too much because I work during the week. But my weekends are my time off and I like to sleep in and at 8am on a Saturday I'm being woken up by construction workers and loud machines. But hey - I understand they are just there to make the apartment complex better for the residents. That's my only complaint thus far. The location is close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores; a prime location in my opinion. The area is a tad older, so I think that's why people get scared or turned off by the area. Don't be quick to think it's ghetto. I have met several residents who have lived at the apartment complex for 9+ years. That clearly speaks volume if they can retain their renters for that duration. Most renters can't wait to get out of their lease after the year mark with other complex's so it's reassuring to know the staff makes the cost of living and overall resident experience on that makes them want to stay and make their unit their home. They are very decently priced. I have shopped around EVERYWHERE. This is the best bang for your buck. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Love the online feature to submit repair orders and rent. I already had to, and they came within the hour I made the request. I would highly recommend this apartment complex to my family and friends! No complaints :) two thumbs up!!! read more

This is definitely not the best place I've lived. I lived here for over two years, and every spring the plumbing would go out in the bathroom. The first time it happened I was without a bathroom for four days, the second and third time it happened, it was resolved fairly promptly. During this time, my apartment suffered water damage (that I couldn't see until I moved our computer desk) because the unit on the other side of my wall flooded and management never let me knew until I was moving out what caused it. Also, my apartment became infested with fleas despite the fact I kept my cats indoors and regularly bathed and medicated. I had alerted the management the first time it happened and nothing was done, but they told me not to worry about it. They later on charged me for it when I moved out. In hindsight, I should have ridden them a lot harder about it. However, that said, the maintenance team was always really good to me and the office staff was amicable. Spring Creek isn't the quietest place to live, but noisy neighbors aren't really the management's fault. I will say they got my deposit back to me in a timely manner, although I will say they sent it to the wrong address despite me giving them my new address in person. The only reason I got my deposit when I did was because I forwarded my address. read more

I just moved here less than a week ago. I love my apartment. It is shaded and on the creek side. It is very quiet considering the complex is on busy Greenback. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The apartment was very clean when I moved in. I have not found any issues. The windows and slider are new and double pane glass. I never had that in any previous apartment. There is lots of storage in my 1 bedroom apartment. The management staff is very nice and friendly. I was making numerous calls daily to other complexes looking for an apartment and had been dealing with some not so nice people. My first call here I had talked to Keisha. She was so pleasant on the phone. That's why I came here to look at an apartment. I can't say how they are when it comes to maintenance requests since I have not had any. All in all, I think it's a really nice complex. They are making improvements to the grounds and buildings. The complex is quiet and I don't hear my neighbors. I highly recommend it here After being here a few months I do like it here. My one complaint is the fee that I pay for water, sewer and trash. Most apartments I had looked at were charging anywhere from $25 to $35 mostly. I pay $60 a month here. I think that is excessive for 1 person in a 1 bedroom apartment. Something to keep in mind for budgeting. read more

When we were first moving in, instead of showing us a studio (like we were getting) they showed us the 1 bedroom model (which was updated, and looked nothing like the studio we moved into). Our drawers were squeaky and off their tracks, the screen door was flimsy, the bathroom sink was peeling, and the cabinets were not on straight (this annoyed me most because it was subtle but SO noticeable). At the time, we were so excited and busy unpacking, we didn't take the pictures of previous damages, etc. so, unfortunately, now there is no proof they were pre-existing conditions. After a few months, management sent out a letter saying that rent must be paid in person or online, because they had reason to believe the Dropbox was somehow tampered with. Since the office hours are 8-5 (exactly when my work is open too) I had to choose between missing an hour and a half of work or paying the $27 "convenience fee" online. While we lived there, holes were cut in the fence connecting the complex with the one next door where homeless people wandered in and out. They also scoped out porches with packages on them. Luckily my neighbor was home and saw them trying to take one of mine while I was at work. The laundry room was broken into and clothes were stolen (Gordana was mad at US when we told her this). Shortly after, the washer/dryer fees went up a little. And speaking of laundry, nobody told us that in order to wash our clothes we had to transfer money onto a laundry card, which is only located in the front of the complex. The washers are TINY and the I always had to dry my clothes twice. The whole laundry situation was such a pain for me. There is never enough parking, sometimes you have to park outside on the street. A car was shot about 6 times inside the complex near my apartment. The gate would break down sometimes and had to be left open. It wasn't fixed for weeks. We moved here because the studio was $850, which was doable for us. After our lease expired in June, rent went up to $875 (still doable). In December, 6 months after the lease expired, we finally got a notice saying our lease is up and rent would increase monthly and utilities will be paid for by capacity instead of the flat rate we had. This is why we moved out. We were going to end up paying way too much for a tiny studio in a complex with not much to offer. read more

My apt is on the back end and very quiet, my apt was spotless when she showed me, and the appliances and upgrades are really nice, and they even wiped it down again same day I moved in. If I could give a zero rating I would. I suppose the pool and gym area deserve at least 1 star when they are clean, well-maintained and in working condition. In the past and as of recent we have witnessed people who are not residents in the spa and pool area bathing. The fire pit specifically has not been working for weeks if not months. After over 5 years of having plants, I was served a notice to move them within 3 days. Weeks before to at we were asked to move plants that we had downstairs (also for years) within 7 days. Why the need for two separate notices? It makes no sense to me other than I've recently complained about neighboring residents smoking within ten feet of the building which is stated is prohibited in the rental agreement. Retaliation at its finest. We had to complain several times about the smoking before we were asked to take photographs by the manager Brenda (Who is often the person responding to the reviews. oddly below her name says owner) in a phone call as she stated "at this point our neighbors deny smoking within 10 feet of building and it is a game of he said she said. I obtained the photos but it almost resulted in a confrontation with one of the neighbors. As a pregnant person I should've never been asked to do this. We were also asked by their attorney to provide proof of my medical condition as I have asthma. I have never been asked for medical record information by a landlord ever in my life only an employer. The attorney proceeded to say that we were free to move from the property at any time as it is not a non-smoking property. Luckily we have denied renewing our lease so that we can leave at any time. In the past we've had our car window broke, our bicycles stolen and even our car stolen from our parking space. All these instances occurred in the back gated section. There are people who dig through the garbage daily and dogs running around and big ones not on leashes. There are breed and weight restrictions but it seems management rather spend time having foliage removed as to be less aesthetic Then the concern of other residents and their animals safety. With that being said one of our dogs was attacked by another dog off of a leash and it resulted in a costly trip to the emergency vet which we were never reimbursed for. That resident still lives here and we've since seen them walking their dogs off leashes. After receiving notices about our plants and all of a sudden our shoes after years, I took a walk around the property today only to find several properties with things affixed to their porches such as lights, wind chimes, various porches with bags of trash on them, shopping carts at front doors, porches filled with shoes and porches with tons of plants some even on their top balcony ledge which we've been asked not to do specifically. Other porches are filled with plants far beyond size and comparison of mine. Specifically one of our neighbors? in which I'd complained about their smoking, for some reason their gigantic plants still remain even after mine which were far smaller and far fewer than hers had to be moved. Keep in mind when you take the time out of your day to take time out of their day, it seems they like to return the favor. I've been told I constantly call when having a water leak that went on and on and on for weeks maybe even months. Spent my money on my washing towels from soaking up water and was given a very Small credit on rent, maybe $20. When asking for corporate office to reach out to I was refused the information. Shady! We can't wait to leave. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone who likes to enjoy their quiet time, it's far from that here. Things need serviced constantly. Now maintenance is quick to come but they'll be out again and again and again for the same issue (at least in my recent and most often experience from sink leaks, to water heater, to dishwasher, to air conditioning to rolling glass closet doors off track and on and on). We most recently went months and months with a non-working air conditioner. We had to give permission to have a gentleman enter sometimes once to twice a week to clean out the lines and refill the coolant. My bill skyrocketed and we were never reimbursed. If it hadn't been for Covid we would've been out of here a long time ago. But instead we had to endure loud music from people in back of complex sitting in their cars In parking lot and tenants watch moves full blare. Most recently we were moved from the back to the front due to mildew in our bathroom in our closet. We were later blamed due to poor ventilation. Keep in mind there is no window to open in the bathroom. Clearly the ceiling fan was not doing a good enough job. As far as my bedroom closet having mildew on the attic door I don't know anybody who ventilates their closet but as soon as I found it I reported it. I can go on an on about the headache but I hope this review helps others to spare them the headache. read more

UPDATE: Let's just say I don't know what happened. I was told for 5 days that everything looked good so far with them knowing I needed to find a place to live within 9 days, then told me on that 5th day that I was denied. As amazing as the ladies in the office are, the "nameless/faceless" manager decided I wasn't good enough for them without even speaking to me once. No, my credit is not perfect. I experienced identity theft, and placed a fraud alert on my credit report to protect myself. I also (as embarrassing as it is to admit) had some issues at my prior residence before escaping a domestic violence situation. No evictions, no property collections, etc. Nothing like that, but issues nonetheless. I let the office staff know about these things before applying so I didn't waste anyone's time including my own as I am now having to find somewhere else within 3 days which I don't see happening. Why would you do that to someone? I know things like that are not anyone's problem, but my own... but when did people stop caring about other people altogether? Why make a life-altering decision like that at someone else's expense without speaking to them a single time to judge their character? Anyway, the point of this update is to say, "if you are human...as we all know human beings are fallible...don't bother applying here." read more

This place is evolving all the time, I really appreciate how they have been really working hard to give us a great community to live in and be apart of. I have lived here multiple times, once in a town home for 6 months, and got all but $100 back on my deposit, which is understandable, they have to do some licensed cleaning to cover themselves, whether you cleaned it really well yourself or not. This time I have been here for a little over 2 years, the efforts are what really made me get on here and write a review. They sent my wife a "Hand Written" birthday card on her birthday, which was super nice, and unexpected! They have completely remodeled these units inside and out! The property itself has been going over a huge over haul, from repainting the units, repaving the paths, new parking lot asphalt, new laundry rooms, new pool and spa, new gym, and renovated playground for my 2 boys to enjoy! The staff is very kind, and maintenance is very prompt, with the online services they provide you to pay your rent, submit repair requests is very convenient. Why didn't I give it 5 stars? This is because my car has been broken into 3 times, and some people are very shady. I have only had issues with my neighbors, I now have a family of I am pretty sure 5 or 6 living above me in a 2 bedroom apartment, and constant stomping as they have multiple kids. Though I am not the one to start confrontation or call security. Now here's the thing, people need to understand, we live in apartments, where we are mostly all wall to wall. So if you want to be left alone in privacy go get yourself a house, where you will pay much more and perform most of the maintenance yourself. Though I have made some best friends in this apartment complex, and I will most likely remain friends with for a life time, and people that are very kind and generous. The apartment can't entirely choose who can live here, or you certainly can't always pick your neighbors, which goes anywhere you live. Theft is everywhere as well, which leads me to another point they have taken action about, by providing a new on call security service. Including some security cameras on the property. SCAMMERS. Beware the ad's they post on CL etc. about what their units look like. They thought it would be okay to post pictures to advertise the ONE "dream unit" they had. ONE. All this time we thought we were moving into a beautiful fully remodeled unit and upon MOVE IN DAY it was trash. I even asked them to confirm that was the unit I was putting my holding fee down for. They said "yes, the one just posted on CL 2 hours ago, come tomorrow and put down your holding fee - this unit won't last long" Not at all what was advertised. To top it off - the unit was badly damaged by a water leak in the roof. The ceiling in the bathroom was about to concave at any second. ON OUR MOVE IN DAY. They swore they had been in the unit the day before..... but that kind of thing does not happen overnight. STAY AWAY from this place. They lie, false advertise, and just don't seem to care. Happy to take my money else where. Thanks for wasting a month of my time, commitment, and excitement. Super disappointed in my experience with this awful complex.
