The whole process of getting my divorce went well. The firm is very responsive to emails etc.

I was scheduled for a consultation which I never received a call so I did have to call in myself to ask if it was still happening. I was asked what I needed help with I said contested divorce. I was truthful and said I had no interest in going after my husband finances I was only worried about my children. She immediately told me they were not taking any contested divorces at the time (doubt that's true because I told the assistant what I needed my consultation for a week ago when she scheduled me). I believe it is because I am trying to use ARAG Legal (I think it pays them less). Felt like my case wasn't worth it because not "enough" money was going to be involved. I hired her in December 2018. I had a house to sell a split two ways and two young kids to fight for. From the time I hired her to my first court date which was two months I only spoke with her twice the day of hire and 5 minutes before court. All communication was through the secretary and I really thought I had it in the bag and everything was going to go my way. I'm sorry but I have to leave ZERO stars for this place !!! My sister filed for divorce almost a year and a half ago and her husband has yet to even be served. This place is a joke!! They keep asking my sister for the same documents time after time. They don't do any of the leg work what in the heck are they even getting paid for??? I hired her hoping to resolve issues with a trustee that I DIDN'T trust. She says we'd go to court. Struggling to find funds to take trustee to court. Someone helped me get the funds for court fees. After one year, no court date set. (She didn't understand ADA law as well) Suddenly I felt she sided with that trustee so I fired her. Asked for $$ back. She took it all! Don't bother hiring her. I should have waited to give her the funds til the court date was set first! Hold your funds til she shows you a proof of court date! Lack of communication as well. read more

I'm updating my review I'm not really sure what happened the first time I don't know if we just fell through the cracks I'm not sure if her office was extra busy but after they realized they had dropped the ball on our case they got on it right away and corrected everything immediately. To me that tells me everything about this Law Group and their character their ethics and who they are all the way around.
