We pulled up and noticed that the GOS location was pointing to a hotel building. There was no signage from the road or exterior of the hotel, but we went inside and found this restaurant is more of a lounge restaurant within the hotel The menu offers a variety of "tapas," and the portions are large enough that everyone in a small party should be able to try the dish. The cocktails were well made, and they came out in a timely manner Our server was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall, the service was good. We did try to slightly modify a couple of the dishes, and one couldn't be modified, and another was just disregarded, but everything tasted good This isn't the most inexpensive spot for happy hour, but it is a nice atmosphere Some tips: Definitely go the tapas route so you can try a variety of dishes. The firecracker shrimp was one of my favorites Cheers!

They are regularly out of various wines, beers, and food items. They have already shrunk the food menu to an unappetizing limited menu and the quality is below the IHG standard. Perhaps instead of remodeling a perfectly good space, IHG should have invested in better menu items, more consistent food preparation, and beverages patrons actually want on the menu. The local patrons meet or outnumber hotel patrons most nights during the week, but repeated requests for better food and alcohol selections are ignored. I just want it to be better. It's one of our only options available in the evening in midtown!

There are absolutely no shortages of places to eat in Hattiesburg. Some visiting might lean towards safe places with menu items they feel secure and safe with, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, if that's you you're missing out on some amazing food. Today I took my wife for mother's day as they had some special items on their menu, while also keeping their regular menu available. We started with their standard dumpling appetizer. We get it everytime we eat there and they're delicious every time. The meals we picked were the the kimchi cabanara and the shrimp and grits. Both on their special mother's day menu. Both were absolutely delicious with fresh ingrediants, balanced seasonings and amazing flavors. I'm Italian and grew up eating traditional family Sunday dinners but this bowl of pasta was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very modern with a combination of traditional asian features mixed with some modern MTV inspired artwork. If you're into craft cocktails they got you covered as well. The only miss we had to day was our server never came back to take our dessert order, when we asked to order it he confused what we said for the bill and brought that instead. Not a deal breaker, we were actually too full for it anyway and we've had their desserts before. They always inventive and delicious. At the end of the day, one small service hiccup wasn't enough to overshadow what was an outstanding meal and experience. In a city packed with chain restaurants and predictable menus, places like this are what make Hattiesburg's food scene worth exploring. If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, you'll be rewarded with creative dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors you'll still be thinking about on the drive home. We'll absolutely be back.

Cocktails were creative and beautifully presented. The food was great - eclectic Asian would be my descriptor. We had the pickled veggies which included kim chi, black garlic, poblanos, pickles, and collards. The assortment was very nice. The pork and shrimp dumplings were a bit firmer than I'm used to, but not in a bad way, and the flavors were excellent. The pot roast egg rolls were a fun mashup. The okra was delicious - perfectly cooked and great balance of flavors. The pork belly buns were my favorite item. Lots of tender, crispy pork on a cloud soft bun. Yum! I will definitely return if in the area.

Their steaks and burgers are better than anything the franchised steakhouses have to offer. Period. No debate. They have a market attached to the restaurant and it is my favorite place to shop for hard-to-find cuts; ox tail is my favorite and practically nonexistent in most meat departments. I have yet to try any of their goat or lamb, but their ice cream is addictive. You've been warned. The front of the house staff is always very friendly and attentive while the back of the house is always on point with the food. The two I've spoken with the most have been Ashley and her manager, Danielle. Both are wonderful; I can't say enough nice things about them. Danielle's hard work is evident in her people and the establishment. The restaurant itself has a modern, southwestern aesthetic that is very clean and cozy featuring a spacious horseshoe bar with a variety of seating indoors and out. The wood paneling, leather seating, and soft lighting create the perfect atmosphere for a business lunch or nice date, but is especially pleasant during a normal lunch. You couldn't ask for more from a local steakhouse.

I had a Cabernet and asked if was a boxed wine. No, it was Richard Hill at $7. I had the Philly cheesesteak which was huge. The steak was a ribeye I was told and was well seasoned with melted provolone, grilled green pepper and onions. It was a little hard to eat as it wasn't cut in half. The tallow fries were incredible. Great meal and service and no credit card surcharges.

The lighting is a bit dim for our old eyes but otherwise it has the feel of a pub. We loved that. Our server was very nice and helpful. We ordered the bacon cheddar fries. The fries are like a cottage fries that are then cut into strips. Perfect fry on them. The bacon could have been crispier but great flavor and a good ranch. I had the KPauls pasta. We all enjoyed it. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. If you love a saucy pasta this isn't for you. It is nice and creamy but not swimming in it. Big plump shrimp that tasted great. Also has chunks of chicken breast and sliced sausage. Uncle Jim got the red beans and rice. Great flavor but barely warm. The catfish is a thicker cut and battered in a coarsely ground corn meal. Aunt Robin had the shrimp and grits. Those were the star of the show. So creamy and incredible flavor. Very generous amount of nice sized shrimp. Mike had the Keg Stand burger. He requested the sauce on the side. It's definitely a unique flavor. Nice soft bun. The meat was grossly over cooked but would have been tasty had it not been so dry. The onion rings that came with the burger were soggy. Overall, enjoyed it. We know what to get next time. Shrimp and grits and KPauls pasta!!
