From our first step in the door we were treated like royalty. The decor is on point, it's a gorgeous restaurant. White table clothes, candles and fresh flowers were on the tables. The ceiling and the chandeliers are perfection. Try the smoked old fashion, it was outstanding! The crab cakes are so delicious, they're a must. We had the airline chicken and the filet they were both fantastic. My only regret is I didn't save room for one of their desserts- but there's always next time!!!! This is a restaurant my wife and I frequently visited when it was the Depot Coffee shop. This was our 1st visit as an upscale restaurant venue. I made a reservation which we were seating in a matter of time less than a minute. We left the restaurant at 8:00. Here's my summary: 1) Ambience - The cross talking is extremely loud and the place was busy. I found it difficult to communicate. Seating is not conducive to privacy with no partitions between customers. My seat was similar to a church bench and no cushion so after 2 hours I was hurting. 2) Food- The crab cake appetizer was very good and came out in a reasonable time. The main course, me having the Salmon and my wife having the baked chicken took a long time with apologies from our waitress for the kitchen being backed up. You see, the triple tail fish is what my wife wanted from the menu and was told "the triple tail did not meet the chief's standards and they were subbing the Red fish" so why have the triple tail on the menu? My wife settled for the "airline chicken" and partly good and then closer to the bone partly undercooked. 3) Service was fine. 4) Price- No need to discuss price if you plan to go here- this shouldn't be your concern. read more

Buschman Street Café I've been to this establishment several times. Tonight I decided to take my time and try to enjoy each dish that was set before me. There is no point in wasting your time with telling you how impeccable the service is. You will never find, and I repeat, NEVER FIND service that will ever surpass the staff here. The attention to detail, the memory that each of them is gifted with about your likes, dislikes, and even the intuition they attain. They have learned this art from a singular source. I have had some of the most desirable menu items from Michelin Star chefs. Tonight... they have all been trumped. The live music usually a violinist or a cellist sets the mood as soon as you walk in. The ambience is unparalleled. This night started out with the following: a Mississippi sour. Sweet and satisfying, an old-fashioned clean, and a bourbon flight. Sir Davis Pecan, chocolate, front end. After applying a single drop of water, it had notes of banana and coffee after the glass was empty. Four Roses: Soft is what I immediately noticed, and apricot was the greatest ingredient that was at the forefront of its profile for me. You also enjoy the rye. For the alcohol content to be 100%, it never gives any hint of ethanol. I then had what "USED TO BE" my favorite. Knob Creek. (Goodbye old friend) Lamb Ravioli with a pesto sauce. Love cheese, basil, fresh, creamy. Salt content. The bread on the side is great for the leftover creamy pesto sauce. Mushroom Soup: this is my favorite. Loaded with mushrooms and crisp fried mushrooms on top with crostini. It was topped with brandy to enhance the depth of flavor, add a subtle sweetness, and balance the earthy notes of the mushrooms. Salad Grilled shrimp with beets, avocado, feta, and vinaigrette amazing. Pickled red onions! Shut up black peppercorns. I am smiling. I am intrigued! Lamb Shank with Polenta: Ham chips, a savory sauce, and the perfect amount of savory. This... THIS would be my last meal. This made me smile, close my eyes, and exhale a sound I don't think I've ever made before. My taste buds experience culinary rapture. There's no way to go back to ordinary. I then finished off the night with my Amaretto Crème Brûlée. This night was very memorable at the bar. I left completely satiated. I will be back. This was a 10/10 experience all around. The service, atmosphere, and DEFINITELY the food!!! Me and my boyfriend got the osso bucco and the shrimp ricotto! mine was amazing and his was as well. We also got some bread (complimentary) and the crab stuffed shrimp. Our waiter, brady, explained to us how they grow the rosemary/ other herbs served in a garden in the back, along with the butter and bread being made in house! He was an AMAZING waiter!! We were welcomed at the door by the manager and seated at a table for two near the impressive bar. Our server, Brian, was very attentive to our needs and preferences, brought the kitchen manager out to ascertain menu modifications to accommodate my wife's IBS. Her plate did NOT look like one without items missing: beautifully cooked and sliced filet with sautéed spinach and Parmesan chips. She raved about it all! My honey siracha glazed salmon with succotash and mashed potatoes was three wonderful dishes in one, the salmon flaky and fresh, succotash an imaginative veggie mix, and flavorful, substantial mashed. I truly had an amazing experience here last Saturday night. I visited with a woman who turned 80 and two pre teen boys. We are all foodies(including my 11 year old) and everything we ate was cooked to perfection! The mid rare ribeye steak was the best I've ever tasted and the owner was a genuine as they come. Buschman is the perfect date night experience. If you are looking for a romantic dinner, call and make a reservation. Walk ins are welcomed however the restaurant is usually full. The ambiance is very inviting, white table cloths and servers dressed to the nines. The bar is fully stocked, great wine and cocktail choices. The menu alternates, but has a few staples like lamb lollipops, steak, and shrimp. The owner is such a friendly person, he engages with patrons and you can get lucky one day if they are testing out a new dessert. We really love this place!
