Beautiful ambience and friendly staff! The owner is very attentive to his patrons. Food was good!

This was a 10/10 experience all around. The service, atmosphere, and DEFINITELY the food!!! Me and my boyfriend got the osso bucco and the shrimp ricotto! mine was amazing and his was as well. We also got some bread (complimentary) and the crab stuffed shrimp. Our waiter, brady, explained to us how they grow the rosemary/ other herbs served in a garden in the back, along with the butter and bread being made in house! He was an AMAZING waiter!! If anyone who works there sees this review, know him and all of your employees are amazing at their jobs. The team works so well together and all have amazing attitudes which is always something i appreciate, as someone who understands how hard it can be achieving that dynamic.

    Waiting for service and food.

The ambience was very nice for first time, dining there. The food was not to my expectations. My steak was overdone. The service was poor. Waited too long for the food.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING! When we walked in the vibe (omg I just used that expression as a 61 year old!) was soooooooo perfect. It's dark, it's clubby, it's absolutely beautiful. Everyone who works there is an absolute PRO! I believe that everyone who works there checked in with us which is a sign of FANTASTIC training. Jewel was the kind, caring server who took care of us and it was just AMAZING. The gentleman who owns it came by and chatted with us and we got to meet his kitchen crew - female executive chef baby! If you're in Hattiesburg you HAVE to go here!

I truly had an amazing experience here last Saturday night. I visited with a woman who turned 80 and two pre teen boys. We are all foodies(including my 11 year old) and everything we ate was cooked to perfection! The mid rare ribeye steak was the best I've ever tasted and the owner was a genuine as they come. I will bring my friends to this place. It's worth the travel from Alabama. Thank you for the exemplary customer service and hospitality.

Great food, excellent service and attention to details. Love the atmosphere, this might just be my favorite American food restaurant.

Amazing food. Superior service. A smaller restaurant that offers outstanding choices. Definitely worth a visit. You will return!

It didn't live up to the hype it was given in previous reviews. White tablecloths and table settings don't make up for badly prepared food.

I ordered the baked spaghetti, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The kind of dish that makes you pause halfway through the first bite and think, "Yep...this was the perfect choice." It tasted completely house-made, rich, comforting, and clearly prepared with the kind of love that usually comes from a kitchen where someone is yelling in Italian. The sauce, the pasta, the baked goodness on top--everything just worked. The wine list was also a pleasant surprise: great selection and very affordable. Nothing makes pasta happier than a good glass of wine that doesn't make your wallet cry. For dessert I went with the limoncello cake. While it wasn't house-made, it was still delicious--light, citrusy, and the perfect way to finish off a very satisfying meal. Here's the real kicker: the entire meal with wine was about $40 with my drink. In a world where mediocre pasta can somehow cost the same as a cell phone bill, this place delivers incredible value. It's not only the best quality Italian food I've found around here, it's easily one of the best meals I've had for the price. Bottom line: great food, great wine, and a price that doesn't require selling family heirlooms. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered the lobster ravioli, which sounded like a life decision I'd brag about later. What arrived was 4 ravioli and 4 small shrimp -- which, in most cultures, is called an appetizer but I might just need to go on a diet. Flavor-wise it was... politely stated..Not bad, just kind of bland. Also the shrimp still had the tails on, so dinner became a part-time job. Nothing says "fine dining" like performing minor seafood surgery in pink sauce while your pasta cools. The wine list was the real plot twist. No rosé. No Sauvignon Blanc. I have never -- and I mean never -- gone to an Italian restaurant and ordered beer out of necessity. Yet here we are. It just didn't feel right. Now, credit where it's due: the garlic bread was actually really good (though I'm pretty sure it didn't grow up in that kitchen), and the limoncello cake -- confirmed not house-made -- was honestly the star of the meal. Service was great, atmosphere was pleasant, and I didn't have a bad time... Three stars: good evening, questionable portion sizing, and a restaurant that accidentally convinced me to drink beer at an Italian restaurant.

Our server, Cameron, was kind, patient, and attentive as we waited for our friend to arrive. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions based on his personal favorites. We started with the crabmeat wontons, which I was expecting to favor traditional rangoons, but these were crispy gyozo dumplings, filled with a savory and smooth blend of crab and cream cheese, and served with sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long on the table :) Even my husband, who usually doesn't like seafood, dug in! Intrigued by the subtle twist on a classic, my husband chose the fried chicken and beignets. I was allowed a bite :) and it was hard to stop there! The flavor of both components was outstanding, and the crispy texture, perfect. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I asked if I could do a classic Caesar salad and add creole shrimp. When I say this was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! The flavor of the dressing was so simple yet rich, the croutons were light and tasted freshly-made, and the shrimp were deliciously savory, with a blackened flavor that exceeded my expectations. All in all, a great dining experience that we will share with others traveling through the area, and will repeat if we're ever back!
