Did a great job with my window tinting and didn't take long at all! Would highly recommend if you're looking for this type of service

I've been dealing with the eclipse for years now they've done three of my vehicles and two of my friends vehicles and one of another acquaintance always excellent work until this last year I had worked for months to save up and buy a Volvo station wagon I hadn't even had the vehicle for 10 days and I took it into eclipse they did an excellent job on the tinting . So when I picked it up my door panel was hanging off and I couldn't figure out what was wrong and then I looked and there's a hidden compartment behind the door handle you have to pop it off with a screwdriver and it looks like whoever tinted it got frustrated and they just ripped the door panel off so there was no way to reattach it it was just hanging there so I took it back to the owner and he said we didn't take your door panel off I said I haven't even had this vehicle for 10 days it was in pristine condition and he said he would fix it for me. weeks went by nothing totally blew me off and I said I'm going to have to write a bad review and he text me back immediately and said you don't have to threaten me I'll take care of it for you. that was last December and then so then my window stopped working so I took it in in the mechanics said that the motor had burned out. they also told me that my window channel was totally bent and mangled.so they said that we put this new motor in ( which with labor cost me 528 bucks) because your window channel is mangled and bent it's going to continue to break every new motor that we put in so now they have to order me a window channel and they're still looking for a door panel for me so by the time it's said and done this tinting job is going to cost me well over $1,000 . It appears they did not use the proper tool to separate the window from the door to make the tint go below grade they bent it all out of shape and the bad thing is the owner blatantly refuses to accept responsibility last December his excuse to me was I just had a son I said well I have five kids they're all grown up but that has nothing to do with you destroying my my car that I've had less than 10 days so that's why I'm leaving this review be very careful. Like I said I've been a loyal customer of this company for years and I expected nothing but the best attending job is amazing but the fact that he just turned on me just like that instead of just doing what was right so be careful folks have a great day stay safe read more

Great place to get your windows tinted! I called around and this was the best price WITH a life time warrantee! I called twice, once to check the price (Victor was SUPPPER nice) and once the next week to confirm the price and schedule an appointment. At first he said he didn't have any openings for that week, but got a cancellation and got me in the next day! The employees were kind and very helpful in choosing my shade of tint. We don't live in Santa Fe, so we got to explore for about 4 hours while they were doing the tint which was totally fine. When we picked up my car again, Victor was so helpful and talkative! My husband even said "I want to go get my truck detailed just because Victor was cool!" If you live in SF (or surrounding area) get your cars tinted and/or detailed her! Support local!! read more

The BEST auto detailing I've ever experienced. They even sanitize your car when they have finished with a vinegar/alcohol solution. I live on a dirt road and the sand/dust/dirt is just horrific. When I come to SFe, I always take my car to Eclipse and sand does not have a hiding place from the meticulous care these guys give my car. Even the black rubber trim around the car is restored to like-new. Even better, they are affordable. I also have taken my last 3 cars there for windows tinting where they use the latest technology of film that actually keeps the car MUCH cooler than other films. Worth checking that out as well. I am completely blown away by the quality of service and customer care that I experienced at Eclipse Window Tinting & Auto Detailing. I had a hydroplaning accident and the undercarriage was completely caked with crusted mud and weeds. Victor was happy to take a look and offered me a fair price to clean out the undercarriage along with a full detail cleaning of the rest of the car. What I got back left me in shock! Victor personally showed me every detail of the car, even asking his guys to wipe down a few areas not up to his standards. It looks like a brand new car! I own 2 chihuahuas and I still cannot find a single hair left in the carpet or seats. They cleaned everything from the inside of the gas cap to the spare tire compartment! The engine looks like its never seen the dusty highways of New Mexico. There was not a speck of lint on my dashboard, radio, or even the inside of my air vents! Truly a 5 star experience, The only place in Santa Fe that offers window tinting that blocks both UVB and UVA rays, Phantom and one of the best experiences I've had with Santa Fe professionals. Unfailingly polite and soft-spoken, Victor's entire family works together. Fast, fair and professional. Detailed my 2005 Acura at Eclipse before I put it up for sale. The best 140 dollar investment I could have made. The car was totally transformed. I hated to sell it. They did a great job. I also took my Tundra which had been working the dirt mountain roads to get the engine steam cleaned. They use a super hot steam to deal with grease and dirt. I was really impressed with the service, attention to detail and the owner Victor is right there making sure his employees are taking care of business. Highest recommendation for Eclipse Auto Detailing! My 2013 Prius interior was trashed, and I thought I'd have to re-upholster it. It didn't seem possible to clean it. Now it looks like a new car! Needed a quick car wash. Eclipse was the first one I noticed. Pulled in to the self wash bay - after noticing an individual on a bike checking every machine (vacuum, etc.) for change, I decided the automatic car wash was a safer option. I paid for the most expensive option ($12). What a waste of money. The automatic system is obviously set for a large vehicle. If there were vehicle sensors, they were not functioning correctly. The front and sides of my car were washed, but the arm for the sprayers were so far behind my car the streams of water and soap never reached my vehicle. I tried backing up slightly during the wash to see if it would help - it did not. I drive an older Subaru - so I feel like it is relative in size to most cars. I could understand if my car was a smart (egg) car. The dryers were not the greatest, but for a fee you could use the "new" dryers on the side of the building. If you want to wash your "car" here - I would recommend self wash - if you feel comfortable (safe) to do so. Otherwise find a different automatic wash. Wish I had took more time to find a better car wash business. read more

Eclipse is an absolute life saver! We were borrowing a friend's car and water accidentally spilled in the back seat everywhere. We needed it to be cleaned and dried within the day. We went to 3 different detailing places that offered little help. Victor was incredibly nice and gracious. Started coming here 3 years ago for tinting and car wash/detailing. No one does a better job. Victor - super great guy all around. Nice to his customers and staff alike. Can tell just by watching him work. Family owned and operated with Victor and his wife leading from the front. I have medical problems where the sun really bothers me to the point of making me physically ill. I also had precancerous growths removed, being protected from the sun is a high priority for me. I was on a quest to get my vehicle windows tinted. I checked the Internet for business who do window tinting and then started contacting them. I was given the basic info for putting on the usual black tint. That is until I contacted Eclipse Window Tinting. I spoke with Victor, the owner. Like the other businesses that I contacted, I told him what I was looking to accomplish with window tinting. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the different window tints and the companies that make them. He also explained the many health benefits. From the businesses that I spoke with, Victor was the only one who put my best interests, health and safety, first. I went to Eclipse the day before my scheduled appointment to discuss my options. Victor showed me the different tints and what would be best for my situation. He gave me different options and recommendations. I also have show dogs so we do a lot of traveling. Victor put their best interests into the plan for tinting; protecting their eyes from sun glare and keeping them cool in the back. And then for me, he put my health interests and health issues into the plan for the front windows. The next day, I showed up to have the window tint installed. I did go with Victor's recommendations. I am so very happy that I did! What really impressed me, Victor listens, and he will take the time to discuss any questions. Very considerate employees and very detail orientated. This is an awesome business. Very professional! I highly recommend Eclipse for window tinting. My skin isn't burning from the sun coming in the windows, the glare is cut so I don't get major headaches, the vehicle is cooler so I am not getting sick, the dogs are happy as a clam and enjoying their new cool space!!! Owner, Victor Carrillo is the BEST. Professional, knowledgeable, and a friendly manner. I spent $155 on a full detail and IT. WAS. WORTH. EVERY PENNY. I hadn't had a "deep clean" on the car upholstery, well, since never. And things were pretty bad on the back seats and the carpets (spills just seem to happen to me). And now it looks brand new inside. And of course they did the windows, the wheels, the outside, all of the interior surfaces, etc and just BAM - looks amazing. I see my review from 2009 is still here! I went back yesterday to get my car detailed and the service was exemplary as usual. Now, in addition to my dog that sometimes travels in the back seat, I have a 5 year old child. The leather seat around his booster was really quite dirty and I had tried to wipe it down myself with store-bought leather cleaner to no avail. I had assumed that the seat was going to be permanently stained. Luckily, I went to Eclipse for a full detailing. My car is like NEW! All of the stains are completely gone! I recently inherited a 2012 Toyota that was an absolute nightmare. It was beyond dirty and stinky. Having to drive it back east, I knew drastic measures were necessary. Yesterday I drove my car from Chama to Santa Fe. En route I drove through a section of road repair, and as a result my car was covered in a thick coating of oil and tar. A regular car wash did nothing, but Eclipse Detailing dealt with the problem quickly, effectively, and carefully. Victor and his team are knowledgeable and friendly, and the price was reasonable. (By the way, Victor told me it was lucky I brought the car in today - he said that after a few days, tar sets and is almost impossible to remove.) read more

This was an all-around great experience. I dropped off my car for a deluxe auto detailing package. The owner is on-site and she will give you a ride back to your home while your car is being cleaned. She also offered to pick me up when my car was ready. The cleaning service was also great. I have 2 dogs that shed a lot and bring dirt into the car. They spent several hours vacuuming the inside. My car has never been so clean. Finally, I have gotten my car detailed in the past and the cleansers have been very strong smelling. So strong smelling that it gave me a headache to drive around! I appreciated that the cleaning materials were largely scent-free. read more
