We were was passing through and only stayed for a couple of days. Having just come through a snow storm in Amarillo, our SUV was DIRTY and full of salt! It was 18 degrees in Santa Fe and I just had to get it washed. Texted the shop and Louis got right back to me! He was able to fit me in after explaining my need for a wash and they we would be leaving to LV early the next morning. He and his partner made it look as good as new! Hand wash, vacuum and a light was. Tires were dressed and it looked so good! It was all done in less than 2 hours for $100! The store hours state they are open at 8 AM. I called a week prior and made an appointment for 8 AM. When I arrived, no one was there. I called the office, and they texted me to text them instead. I texted immediately after receiving the text, and there was no answer. I waited until 8:30 AM and finally had to leave to go to work. It took me 20 minutes to drive there so in total I wasted over an hour. By the time I got home at 9 AM I still hadn't received an answer from the company. Luis was initially very kind and caring over the phone and arrangements were made to have my stolen and recovered vehicle towed to The Santa Fe Detail. My insurance agent had discussed this with Luis but when the salvage yard called to make delivery arrangements, Luis refused to accept the car, unbeknownst to me! When I went to pick up the car on a date that we had pre-arranged, he told me he never got the car and blamed my insurance company. At that time, he stated he was too busy to take on the project and left me hanging. He straight up lied, refusing to take any responsibility then refused the job. Having a car stolen is traumatic enough and I explained to Luis he left me hanging with no recourse. I thought I was taking my car home that day but instead, spent hours on the phone tracking the vehicle down and lining up another detailer. Please don't use The Santa Fe Detail unless you want to be victimized again. read more

I had an appointment on a Saturday and they were waiting for me when I got there. Very friendly and told me the price up front. They were able to scrub several years of two kids and two dogs crunched up ground in snacks and spilled drinks worth of crud out of my car. The result was amazing and it looks and smells brand new. I cannot tell how horrible the state of my interior was and how they were able to clean it, every little nook was spotless! Santa Fe Auto Detail did a fantastic job cleaning my car after a long roadtrip. It was pretty dirty and had some dog hair that made it a challenging job in the interior. They did a good job cleaning the outside of the vehicle, making sure they addressed the wheel wells, door jambs, wheel spokes, and other areas. The interior was left very clean as well. They cleaned all the surfaces, windows, cup holders, the glovebox, shampooed the mats, and vacuumed as much as they could where they could. However parts of my seats I could see were not cleaned thoroughly. There was still some hair and stains that could have been cleaned with a little extra attention. Overall the car was left very clean. Also, I would warn anyone with a sensitive nose, the cleaning products they used left a strong chemical smell afterwards and the interior cleaner was very oily. It left the plastic inside very greasy. Luckily, A couple of days of good ventilation helped get rid of the smell. Again, overall they did a fantastic job. My car was in pretty bad shape when I took it in to them and they left it very clean. I'm just a stickler for detail when it comes to my car, so I notice these sorts of things. The average person might not care as much. So for what it's worth, you're in good hands with Santa Fe Auto Detail. They'll leave your car in MUCH better shape than when you drop it off. read more

These guys do an amazing job. We take both cars in at least once a year and when we get them back, they look brand new.

Don't feel like they stand by their advertising word. Truck was not detailed and I would say just washed. Streaks of attempted shine solutions (like armor-all) were visible, they did not even bother to wipe it evenly. Even though we asked if there was an additional charge for a small 2 seater truck, they said no. However when we picked up the truck the windows of the truck bed cover were not cleaned and there was still dirt on the truck bed. They advertise that they will clean and vacuum the trunk, but our truck bed was not even swept. They said they don't clean those, and that there would be an additional charge of $30 to sweep the truck bed and clean the windows. I asked to speak to the owner and showed him the areas that I thought were substantially below par. I asked if he thought the condition of the detail was to his standard, he would not answer, I asked again if he thought the job was to his standards, he still would not answer. I then showed him how the dirt on the interior vinyl was visible was easily remove by a moist finger, I literally licked my finger and showed him the dirt was easily removable and it was unacceptable to not have it cleaned. He accused me of yelling, which I wasn't but also was not going to accept him giving me the silent treatment. He said he would fix it, but it would be more money, he claimed they charge an additional $65 for pet hair. He walked away and did not seem to care at all about my dissatisfaction. Take your business elsewhere, for $149 complete detail you can go elsewhere and get much better results. The owner said they plan on 3 hours for detail, but the employee said his boss told him not spend more than 2 hrs on our vehicle. Beware of this business and their inability to admit their shortcomings. read more

I am very disappointed at the service I received. For $130 dollars, my vehicle was returned to me with dog hair still inside, scuff marks still visible, the steering wheel still dirty, windows uncleaned and the back left dirty. Dirt was visible on the paint. The engine compartment was untouched. For the quality of the work, I could have easily done the same myself. I thought detailing meant that the cleaning service actually cleaned the vehicle in a detailed manner. When we went to complain, the person, who claimed to be the owner, made excuses and then walked away when we called him on them. Who does that? I can not recommend this service and it's a real shame on their part because we had had two cars detailed by them before with acceptable results. Time to vote with our dollars and find another car cleaning service or do it ourselves. read more
