I had an appointment for 9 to get a couple windows tinted. Jaime (owner) knew I was coming in from out of town and told me if it was there early, they'd get right on it and that it should take less than 2 hours. I had the van there before 9 but Jaime wasn't there and the other guy was too busy to start on it. At 10:30 the other guy told me it was a specialized job and would take 3-4 hours from whenever they started on it. He said they'd need to deflate the tires to get it through their 10' high door. Odd, since it fits under my 10' door with half a foot to spare. At 11, Jaime still hadn't shown up so I took my van and had the job done elsewhere (Discount Glass). It's very unprofessional to make a commitment and then not follow through. It was aggravating and a waste of my precious time and I deeply resent that. read more

Made an appointment but he never showed up... waited 20 min still no show. Called and made another appointment and guess what? He didn't show. I have cash in hand for this guy and he won't show up. Too bad too, he quoted me a fair price and seemed to know his craft. read more

In my experience, merchants fall into two categories: ones that try to upsell you to buy something that you don't need and ones that attempt to help you make a good decision by explaining your options and the pros and cons of each as well as the financial implications. The former tries to make the most of single sale while the latter wants to have satisfied customers. Satisfied customers tell their friends which grows a good vendors business. In Santa Fe, I have found a few retailers that choose to grow their business by culturing satisfied customers. Tint and More is one. Their service and expertise are excellent. Their concern for customer satisfaction makes them a vendor that I would use without hesitation. read more

I am leaving an honest customer review only because I feel it's necessary in order to help businesses improve. Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience here. I bought a brand new car and I trusted this business to do a great job with the tint (I came based off of reviews). I had a family member drop off my vehicle to get all of my windows tinted as I was out of town dealing with a move for a new job. When I returned from out of town, I inspected the tint all around to make sure it was installed flawlessly. Right away, I noticed many scratches in the tint (some small and some more than 6 inches!) not to mention there was an actual scratch in my windshield where the visor was installed. I went back the next day to discuss with the business and one of the employees was denying that it was them that scratched the windshield! Keep in mind, this car is brand new and has under 400 miles at the time. Not only was he denying that he scratched the windshield, he was VERY unprofessional approaching the problem (profanity and very rude). A different employee tried to make things right and I appreciate his attempt that's why I am leaving two stars instead of 1. They reinstalled the visor to try and hide the scratch but they did not remove all the glue from the previous one so now I will have to go get it redone somewhere else. 4/10 windows stayed good, the rest have small scratches from the plastic tool that they used to install. Plus now I have two 1 inch scratches in my actual windshield (one from the first installation and one from when they tried to reinstall a longer visor) I am aware that plastic alone can't scratch glass, however rocks and certain debris that get caught in the squeegee can! The lighting is not good in the facility so I can see why it is difficult for a perfect scratch less tint install. Maybe you will have a better experience here and hopefully the employees learned from this experience. If you do get your tint done here, look at it all around right away under the sunlight and make sure there aren't any scratches. Personally, I wish I would have paid more and got it done at a dealership. Now I have to pay to get my windows re-tinted all over again. As humans, we all make mistakes but it's important that we learn from them. I wish this company the best, they just need to be more careful when installing tint and think before they react with customers. They both apologized after their second tint attempt and I appreciated that. read more

Instead of turning me away and scheduling a date weeks away, they took care of my truck and got me back on the road to continue my travels. Great customer service and personalities. I'm so glad that I found the guys at Tint & More and would call on them again in a flash. Jaime and Andres are super-nice guys, efficient, hard working -- and they do a meticulous, beautiful job. They care about what they're doing. We needed to have the windows in our house tinted to cut down the UV rays and protect our furniture (and ourselves). Their price was extremely fair.
