Background: The credit for green energy was ending in 2025, and I had always wanted to reinsulate my home because it was so cold in winter and super hot in summer. I went through many different companies and seeing how people felt about them, and I saw a lot of horror stories. I called up a few companies and found out that insulation is kind of like roofing, where a sales person and a tech comes, where the tech looks around and the sales person tries to scare you into using their company right then. They might say something like "your attic is super hot" (that's normal, well, up to a point), or "we'll give you a special deal if you say yes right now". Just kind of shady stuff overall. One big thing that people mention is that while insulation is good, you need to airseal your attic as well - this was another thing I was looking to get done. Initial Meeting: So I was kind of expecting that when I called Attic Professional. Fortunately, that was not the case at all! From other reviews you might have figured that the owner, Bryan, is incredibly respectful and treats customers well. I got to experience that as well. One thing I was surprised at is he had inside shoes (the kind you see in Japan) and put them on and off when walking around the house. He went up into my attic and really dug around to look for issues like pests or mold (besides the poor insulation layers). We went around the home together to look for clogged vents. He didn't try to sell me on anything - I remember reading one review that said he didn't try to sell them things they didn't need, and that was my experience too. He said they could put more insulation in on my existing one, or take out the old one and put new one in; but neither would have a substantial difference. I went ahead and asked him to remove the old insulation and put new insulation in just for cleanliness. I even later changed my mind and asked for a custom insulation scheme - some fiberglass batting and mostly blown-in, and he had no problem accommodating that. Oh, and they would include airsealing gaps in the attic with fire resistant foam! Reinsulation: A few weeks later, he and his team brought his truck up to my house. They covered many surfaces with plastic drop cloth to prevent insulation from flying around - they taped doorways so I could come through, and they taped cardboard to corners in the house so their insulation blower tube wouldn't cause damage. They put canvas drop cloths on the floors to protect them. There was a bit of fiberglass and debris around after, but it was very, very minor. I understand how difficult it is to be flawless with cleanup, but these guys were very good. The work was smooth and quick - only a few hours. I didn't have to add much input and the team was in and out. Bryan left for another site for an hour or so, but everyone was just as respectful as Bryan, and they told me he was a very good person to work for. Always nice to see that the employees have a good opinion of the company as well. One thing that I thought was interesting is after they removed all the previous insulation, they let me look at the attic and see how they stapled their measuring tapes. Apparently, some insulation companies will scam their customers and fold up their measuring tapes so it shows more insulation than what's actually in there. I was able to verify myself that all the measuring tapes were correct. Bryan and I did a final check on the attic together and I was very happy. Above and beyond: A month or so later, I was very curious about the insulation and really wanted to optimize the house, so I got one of those FLIR guns (temperature sensor guns) to see if the attic was perfectly insulated. As expected there were a few spots that had a bit of uneven insulation (after all, nobody's perfect), but for the most part everything was good. I sent Bryan a text about these spots, and he immediately he and his crew to come add some more insulation and pack it in. Now everything on the camera looks great. I think it's pretty rare to find such attention to quality, and I was very impressed. Results: In the San Diego weather by home would average 63 degrees when outside it was around 48. Now, the house never drops below 68, and it averages around 72 year round. When it's 85 degrees outside, it might be 76-78 inside. I've seen the temperature inside crack 80 maybe twice in the last year, and never seen it below 65. This is with no heater, no AC running EVER. So TLDR: I would completely recommend using Attic Professional for your insulation. Take a look at their price, but I find their quality far outshines anything I've seen, and I think I got a steal of a deal (with the now-removed credit sadly).

Their quote was in-line with the competition as well. Russell has an extensive background doing these jobs himself so he knows what he's talking about. Russell also came over a second time to discuss options for routing our two bath fan exhaust ducts to roof vents when I weighed adding that to our scope. We executed our install over two days in October and everything went smoothly. After air sealing and adding soffit baffling, they blew R30 cellulose over our existing bats. We also added a gasket around our attic access and insulated the back of the panel. My only recommendation is that you, the homeowner, clean your house after the cellulose blowing. There will be fine paper material in the air everywhere, which will settle as dust. Seven months later and our house has been noticeably more temperature stable- warmer over winter and cooler during our recent hot days. Don't skip air-sealing, and make sure to quote with Guardian if you're looking for the best result for your house!

CA A & B was extremely professional and communicated clearly. I had researched costs and they were under what I expected. They scheduled the removal of my old insulation, cleaning and sanitizing the attic, and covering places rats and mice got in. I had a constant rat smell in my house that was stressing me out. After they completed the job (in under 7 hours), my house air is fresh and clean. There is no rat smell and no stress from rats entering my attic. The best news is that my allergies went away. I'd been taking medication and now I don't have to take it anymore. I am pleased with the results and would highly recommend this company.

We have a home that has a basement. It has three opening with about 3100 sq ft of storage. It also became to home to rats, rodents, urine, feces and chewed up belongings. It became obvious that this was a real hazard. Trying to find a company that could perform all the services that would be needed was difficult until I contacted Advanced Insulation System. There are not enough superlatives to describe this company. Everyone I have had contact with is professional, personable and hard working. First they had to empty the contents of the basement, which was an enormous job. I will show photos. Once emptied, the hazardous things, rats, rodents, feces, urine, chewed up belongings were removed. All the areas were sanitized and sealed against any intrusion by creatures. Heavy insulation plastics were used on the foundation and floors and insulation was blown in to seal the entire basement. They assigned workers to assist me in sorting out the contents of the basement. The things that I wanted to keep were sorted and placed in the basement, charity items were separated and they loaded up anything that was not salvageable in their big truck and took it to the dump. It seemed overwhelming until the fellows, who are very organized, helped me make decisions about what to keep, give to charity and throw away. This took many days and the crew were spectacular. They left everything clean and organized. I really appreciate the dedication and expertise they showed in dealing with this unhealthy and messy condition. The employees all represent the company in a positive light and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I feel that their pricing was fair and everything was done to perfection.

We had our dryer vent cleaned by another company and were still having problems -- loads taking 3+…read morehours to dry. I reached out to Sam for a second opinion and I'm so glad I did. Sam came out, immediately inspected the system, and asked if the previous company had checked the roof vent. They hadn't. When he went up to the roof and removed the vent cap, the duct was completely packed with compacted lint. When he opened it, a huge amount of lint literally shot out like a cannon -- it had been completely blocking the airflow. He thoroughly cleaned the entire run, replaced the damaged transition hose behind the dryer, cleaned out the lint trap housing, and then tested the system to make sure there were no leaks and that airflow was strong. He even repositioned the dryer carefully and made sure we were happy with everything before leaving. The difference is incredible -- a load that used to take about 3.5 hours now dries in about 45 minutes! Sam was professional, extremely thorough, and took the time to explain what he was doing and show us video of the clogged vent so we understood the issue. I really appreciated the honesty and attention to detail. Worth every penny! Will definitely refer him to anyone who needs dryer vent cleaning. Thanks so much, Sam!

In August 2025, we contracted with Super Green to clean and replace the insulation in our attic…read more Everything went well at the beginning. The workers were on time and they were very quick to start and finish. They cleaned up after themselves and were done within 5 hours. Bad part was they missed cleaning an area of the attic, didn't clean off the top of the heating system unit that they said they would do and there were areas that could of used more insulation. I tried to call the site inspector Avi , no response. I called the main office and was told he was on vacation and to call him the next week. After two weeks, I finally received a call back from Avi. Avi asked me to climb up into the attic and take pictures to send to him. I told him that I was not going to climb in the attic and that I was surprised he did not come after the work was complete to ensure it was properly cleaned. He said he would call me back and set up a time for him to inspect. It's now October 2025 and still no site or response from Avi. My advice is that before the workers leave, if you are able to climb and check the attic, do it, because you will never see them again!
