Over the past two years, he has been incredible to work with. He's knowledgeable, patient, honest, and always takes the time to answer questions and make sure things are handled the right way. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, and that kind of service is hard to find. Like any HVAC system, we've had questions and a few things we've wanted checked along the way. The work was a two day process from cleaning out the existing insulation from the attic and adjusting the ductwork, to sanitizing and air sealing all the cracks inside and outside, and filling with R-49 insulation. From the entrance of the house to the attic access, they spent the time putting down a barrier to prevent any mess to the rest of the house. We discussed keeping the existing batts and just lifting them to air seal gaps, putting them back into place, and then adding baffles and blown in insulation to bring our R value way up. Other companies we spoke with didn't offer this option and encouraged us to just blow insulation in over the existing batts and skip air sealing. We really appreciated that Cliff listened to what we wanted and provided a competitive quote to accomplish exactly what we were looking for. He not only did a thorough job air sealing and setting up baffles, but also cleaned up a LOT of debris in the attic from a previous reroofing job. Two word review: Honest, Responsive…read more This is my THIRD consecutive 5-star review for Rocklin Heating & Air. In the last 10 or so years in the area I've called RHA, one other place because they could get me to faster - had a bad experience, waited for RHA had an amazing experience, and decided they're going to be my ride-or-die for HVAC. I called them at 7am and by 11:30am their tech had fixed and tested everything and off to help someone else. Yesterday was the start of a heat wave and ... our AC unit quit on us. I called RHA as soon as they opened this morning at 7am, asked for Joe in particular, and they gave me a window between 10am and 12pm. Joe texted ahead of time at 10:30, diagnosed the blown capacitor, swapped it out, cleaned things up a bit, tested the coolant, answered a bunch of questions, and was on his way in just under an hour. The diagnostic was $129 and the capacitor was $186 today. By a complete and total coincidence, I had been running some experiments with home temperature sensors for the last week. You can literally see on these pictures exactly when the AC unit stopped working - and when RHA saved our bacon. The "other" place I called years ago only had a $79 diagnostic charge, but wanted to rip out and replace the entire HVAC system - and claimed we were taking our lives in our own hands by not getting it fixed with him immediately. Joe and RHA took care of everything for the diagnostic. Yeah, you can probably find someplace to charge you less for the diagnostic or maybe less for the part, but when your house is boiling hot / freezing cold, you want to be able to call on someone you can trust to help you out - and not take you for a ride.

The price was fair for the work being done and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The new siding looks great, better than expected!! Great attention to detail and very thorough workmanship. All Joints and seams sealed, painted, perfect! It really shows!! Cleanup was very thorough as well. My project consisted of one entire very large side of my house needing the old redwood clapboard removed, new house wrap, new casings around all windows and slider, and new Hardie Board siding.
