Overall the company did okay. They were friendly and did okay for the mitigation part (taking down walls and drying). Where the stars were removed was due to the lack of communication and missed areas for drying. Towards the end, the communication was hit or miss and they were hard to contact during the reconstruction phase which was frustrating. There was also some confusion on pricing and I could not get a straight answer. I ended up going with another contractor for the reconstruction because it was getting too frustrating. The new contractor found additional areas that needed to be opened and dried that were missed originally, to my surprise. Overall I am glad I went with another contractor in the end. read more

The communication was excellent from the beginning. Fast response. Then confirming the time by phone on the day. Daniel came to do an inspection and he was excellent. The consultation was free and he gave me lots of really good advice. He took his time to talk through various options and steps we could go through. He was never pushy or sales-y. The first steps he advised us to take were actually simple steps that didn't even require his company to do any work, such as install some crawl space ventilator fans which are cheap from Amazon, then if we still have a problem we can look at more options with them. Idan came out to our home to help with a small electrical fire. His team was super helpful and were really present to work with. They made sure to pay attention to details that I never would've realized were affected from the loss, but he walked me through the entire process. Once all of the mitigation was done, I didn't feel comfortable with the repair company that was sent out by the insurance. I gave Idan a call, and his company helped out again. Our commercial building got flooded with rain, called and requested service from Reactic Restoration, explained to them to contact the owner only and provided my phone number, Mike showed up in the morning without calling the owner, started calling tenant with phone number that he found online or on the store, started arguing with tenant, offended the tenant, I called Mike after to discuss the situation professionally, very hard to talk to Mike, he does not let you talk and has very strong opinion, he only wants to argue with you and tell you how he is right and everyone wrong, he did admitted that he did not check the notes and phone number in the system. Hard to do business with this kind of communication issues. I called another restoration company who came in same day and took care of the problem and had a wonderful communication with both me and tenant.
