Construction continued for 2 full weeks with a variety of crew members, equipment, and vehicles to get the job done right. They worked every day from 730/8AM to 5/6. We had hired him to trim the tree later in the week, but after the windstorm he re-arranged his schedule to pull us forward earlier in the week. We really appreciated this because the tree was dangerous to our home and our neighbors. They did an amazing job on our tree, and I'm sorry I don't have any pictures of that project. In 2020, we were written up by our HOA for overgrown aloe plants. I called several companies for quotes, and I decided to go with Landscape Guy when his quote was competitive with the other offers. He did us a solid favor the year earlier with the tree, and I trusted his work. We agreed on a day for the plant removal, and his team arrived in the morning. They were courteous and very thorough. In addition to removing the aloe plants, they also blew the front yard and carted off all the debris in our yard beyond the plants that they removed. They exceeded our expectations because we weren't expecting them to clean the seed, leaves and pods that had dropped from our neighbors tree onto our property. Regardless, once again they exceeded our expectations, and we'll be reaching out to them for a third possible project.

( It cost 1 star on the review, that was not the crews fault) When the crew showed up these guys were great. They got right to work trimming branches so they could get close to the trunk to dig out the roots. These guys worked real hard removing roots that were 6" to 10" in diameter that reached out in all directions from the trunk. They had to break an irrigation line, which they repaired and left the area like the tree never existed. They cleaned up the are really well. If you are looking for a contractor to trim or remove trees and shrubs give Apex Landscape a call they will do a good job at a fair price.

When we first reached out to Danny and explained that we wanted to redo our entire front and back yard, he came over and spent at least an hour or two over two or three visits and helped us plan out our vision for our yard. We had some ideas in our heads, and Danny and Willy both added their expert opinions on some tweaks here and there until we had a final plan we were all happy with. We were quoted a very fair price and the work started the next week exactly as promised. Throughout the project Danny and Willy's communications with us went above and beyond anything I've come to expect from "service companies" these days. It seems like most companies overpromise and underdeliver. But Danny and Willy delivered exactly as promised and more to be honest. They were constantly checking in and making sure we were happy with the progress, and anytime we highlighted an issue (which only happened once and was very minor) or something we wanted to change, Danny and Willy were eager to make the changes and make us happy. You can tell Danny and Willy take great pride in what they do and that is so refreshing. I was quoted one price but always charged significantly more depending on which way the wind blew, so to speak. He would always, without fail, cancel/reschedule on me at least once. Then when he did show up he was always very late. I would call him to fix a standard bubbler leak, I can say standard cause I normally do them myself, and he would show up without the stuff to fix the leak and have to come back. This happened repeatedly and was extremely frustrating. He was a nice guy and spoke English so in lieu of going back on the hunt for another landscaper, I reluctantly put up with it. Until tonight. Today I had a regular maintenance. I had 1 very small leak fixed, in which I supplied the parts because he did not have anything with him again. He tried to get $60 more than my quoted price again. I did not have that much cash so he took $40 more than my set price. Which was more than fair given the leak was in the spaghetti line and took 5 minutes and he used my materials. He decided to text me tonight saying he needs to charge me more for my regular maintenance. More??? I was already routinely paying significantly more than I was quoted. He says he charges $100 an hour and can't survive by charging me $160 for my maintenance (keep in mind I was quoted $120 for my maintenance). He was here for 1 hour today and I paid $160 (he wanted $180). If he supposedly charges $100 hour then I have been getting taken advantage of for years and sounds like he owes me money. Let me also say that my yard is standard track home size. I have one tree which I pay a separate arborist to trim. So, as you can imagine, I was livid that he had the audacity to send me this text. Especially, given all I have put up with from him. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. My neighbor had already fired him. I felt bad but after his poor choice to text me asking for more money tonight I now know it is time to go back on the hunt for a new landscaper. There are constantly people on social media complaining about their landscaper and on the lookout for a reliable one. I just don't understand why it is so hard to find a good and reliable help these days. I should start a landscaping business. To be hugely successful all I would need to do is show up, be there when I say I will and do a decent job.

My home was a new build that didn't come with front yard landscaping, so it had to all be done from scratch. I received 3 bids, and Lopez Landscaping was not only the best, they submitted my design to the HOA on my behalf and included me in every step of the design. Tony delivered on his promises, he got me a design and itemized pricing within a couple days of us meeting. The craziest part of all of this was how fast they finished the job, my yard was literally dirt 3 days ago and its 100% complete today with pavers, synthetic turf, 2 river beds, 100% automated landscaping lighting, PVC drip system with 4 zones, rock, pre-emerge, even the emitters for the drip system look to be commercial quality! My last landscaper took months to do a backyard for me at my old house!!! Tony had a team of 7 guys show up and they finished in 3 days! He didn't keep materials stored in front of my house for weeks like other companies-the day the rock was delivered was the day it was installed! He planned everything out perfectly, even deliveries of material. After they finished the job, they even swept, cleaned, and sprayed down everything to leave it perfectly clean. I can't be more thankful and pleased with the job. Lisa from their office was excellent at communicating with me about color choices and things for my job, any communication was fast, with an email answer within minutes most times. Even Natalie, the young lady that handled the payment aspect of things was very nice and worked around my schedule. Tony and the rest of the team at Lopez landscape aren't a fly-by-night low budget operation. These guys have the team, tools, trucks, and resources to get ANY job done, big or small.
