Well being as this is my first time here and all I can't complain as of yet. They offer these ginormous washers that are industrial sized made to fit up to 7 loads at once for only $5.75. I much prefer this as I hate to sort out individual loads. I have been told by some that the dryers here are absolutely free with any wash and I can't say that I have ever seen or heard of this before. Typically it's the drying that these places makes a killing off of you. I can't much for the area or part of town this place is located in but being a native to San Diego and born and bred here in El Cajon I am very familiar with these streets and businesses so it has never bothered me being out late in the city I grew up in. Midday midweek is the cheapest time to wash. Dryers are FREE (as is parking). Restroom access requires asking an attendant for assistance. There are multiple big screen television monitors set to different stations, as well as several video game and snack vending machines. Each of 2 sizes of dryers is designed to be filled to a line marking around 55-60% of capacity and then dry for approximately 15-minutes at whatever setting selected. The washers sometimes require inserting the same quarter multiple times before it will drop. We went in today around 3:30pm and it was packed! I think everyone in El Cajon found out about the free dryers. We met Gage, their afternoon employee, and he was very courteous and welcoming. Definitely a change from my last review. He was nice to ask us how we came across this laundromat and why we preferred this place compared to other laundromats; it's clean, they have fast washers and free dryers. Last week my wife and I found this laundromat. We were absolutely delighted. It took us 35 minutes to wash, dry and fold all of our clothes! The dryers were free and the washing machine's were very fast. Tonight we returned to do our laundry before a trip. After getting the load of laundry out of the trunk we walked in the door at 9:02 PM. The guy inside was waving at me so I waved back. He walked over and said we had to leave. Apparently no laundry can be started after 9 PM. I told him I was puzzled as the last visit we were in and out well within 45 minutes. He just said take it up with the owner, you'll have to leave. Question: Why put brand-new super high-quality fast washers and dryers into a laundromat and then turn people away one hour before closing? Why advertise your new fast efficient Electrolux washers all over town and then turn people away? So now, we are no longer delighted, just amused. Yes, the 9 PM warning IS written on the propped open, welcoming front doors. The business hours are 7 AM - 10 PM. L Make sure you are inside and the washer is running before 9 PM. read more

They fail to let the costumer know that of you wish to use hot water it's 75 cents (or more extra)No where in the laundry mat does it say it's extra! You've been warned. WORST SERVICE BY SO CALLED OWNER I USED TO LIKE THIS PLACE I have been going for the past 4 years since I moved to San Diego. The workers are always pleasant and it was convenient for me. But today I went in and I was waiting for my clothes to dry I had my baskets and wallet inside the cart as I was checking on my clothes I turned around and a female worker was taking my belongings out of the cart. I asked her why was she touching my stuff. She said the carts are not to be used as storage. I replied to her that I was about to take my stuff out of the dryer. She said those are the rules and she could do that. She said that was her place and she could do that. I got really upset because my wallet and baskets were in the cart. She could've asked me to take them out but instead she put her hands on my belongings. It upset me even more when I approached her (yes I was raising my voice) she proceeded to demand and say that she had the right to move my stuff without permission because it was inside the facility. Gina the other worker was very nice and apologized. I AM DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED TODAY. I am telling all of my friends to stay away from this place. read more

I left about $100.00 worth of laundry behind in one of the dryers. About two days later, I returned thinking my laundry was a goner, and I'd be headed to Target to replace my towels and washcloths. No sooner did I arrive than a friendly and courteous attendance approached me and offered to help locate my missing load. Phew! This was a great experience. Gage was a very nice, personable, helpful laundry attendant. The machines can be a bit pricey at first glance HOWEVER, you need to take in consideration that the machines can hold 2 to 6 loads AND you get free dryers, plus free wifi and places to sit, so it's worth the price. There are also vending machines and some games towards the back, as well as flat screen TVs playing stuff overhead, so there is no way to be bored here. I only remove a star because some of the people who come to this laundromat are RUDE AS HELL, so watch it when you come here. read more

You can have FREE drying when washing here, 4.5 loads for $4.50. Couldn't get better! I stay in the National City area and ran into some not so clean and uncomfortable situations in my local laundromats while loading my clothes the employee circulates around me while "sweeping". I commute to EL Cajon area majority of the time and am glad i did! I tried one laundry mat but i was not amused with a market inside area and your money in a card. When coming in here i was relieved there was an open SPACE AND PRIVACY. No one likes to look at your dirty laundry! I have went back to this place several times and realized one certain employee being consistent with his work! Came here for their grand reopening. They were offering free wash/dry for all customers for the day, and even bought lunch for everyone in the facility. The employees were extremely friendly and very attentive. I figured with everyone asking for the wifi password, they would get super annoyed (I would). Absolute best laundromat I've ever been to, ever. You don't have to pay to dry. Yes, that's correct, DRYING IS FREE!! (As long as you wash your clothes here). For about 6 loads of laundry, you're only paying $7ish. So worth it. All machines are very nice, clean and work perfectly. I've never had a problem and I've been coming here for months! They have extremely helpful staff on site, my favorite is Gina! She is always so extremely helpful and sweet to everyone. They have games, vending machines, coin machines, a restroom and flat screen TVs to enjoy as you do your laundry. There is a big lots, a Mexican restaurant and a grocery store in the same complex, so you can get all your chores done in one place. They also do a raffle where you can win a $30 walmart gift card! This is my go to place for laundry, it is mist the time clean with friendly staff and opens early. However on the 29th of January upon opening, it had not been cleaned well the night before. Dirty tables, clothes still left in top of machines. When the attendant arrived he turned on the lights and tv's, did nit do a walk through or greet anyone like the other employees I have seen on my weekly visit, he walked outside and stood by his truck playing on his phone for about a half hour, then upon returning stood and watched tv! For the most part when I do my laundry on the weekends the employee comes in turns everything on and greets people and goes around cleaning, guess this employee has a special job title he gets paid to be on his phone and watch tv! read more

We're staying in a local RV park temporarily because of hubby's work. The laundromat at the RV park was closed for days due to renovations so I had to look for a place to do my laundry! I found this place with 5 stars reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed! This place is nice and neat, with TVs all around! The most importantly this place is so friendly and reasonably priced! Gage the young man who works here is super helpful and friendly! I was one quarter short the first time I was here and Gage do not hesitate to open his wallet and handed me a quarter for the washer! Wow is this place clean! Compared to other laundry centers this place is like a 5-Star hotel. Whenever I am there, there is always an employee either cleaning or helping customers on how to use machines. All the equipment seems to be very new and well-kept. Two employees that I would like to point out due to their exceptional service and friendliness would be Ray and Patrick. Both of them are always incredibly nice to customers like me making it feel like home whenever I am doing my laundry. Every time that I have seen them working, they were always cleaning making sure the place was spotless. That just goes to show why this place is the way it is. This place makes laundry less of a hassle. It's affordable and the washers are big enough to wash all my big bulky blankets and it's super convenient to get free dries ! On top of that the facility is always super clean and the attendant Ray is always so willing to help us! She always greets people with a smile and is always hard at work. The reason I decided to actually come in and write this review was the encounter I had today. My daughter was upset and needed to use the restroom. I left my huge Costco sizes Gain laundry soap on a bench. When I came out of the bathroom I realized someone had snagged my soap. Without making a fuss I walked over to big lots and just bought a small one. When the night started to die down I went up to Ray and asked if there were cameras and just kinda let her know what was going on. She checked the cameras and saw exactly what happened. Without embarrassing anyone or creating a scene she just asked the man about my soap. He said it was a misunderstanding and returned it. She's always so helpful with the littlest things that make such a huge difference. I hate doing laundry but it's not so bad and my daughter absolutely loves her and the arcade games ! Machines are down for a long time. Doors open at 7am,but if you have trouble with a machine no one shows up until 8am. The same thing with the bathroom. People just come in to use change machine and leave. So people who need quarters to do washing. Lots of time out of quarters. read more

I really like this laundrymat because for just a little bit more you can add heavy soil and extra rinse! Not many other places have that. And when you need hot water- it uses hot water, not cold or warm. And they have plenty of seating. And for every wash, you get free dry! Now try to beat that! read more

This place is awful ! Their quarter machine ate my $20 bill and they accused me of lying and said that there was nothing they could do today because a manager would have to review the video camera. I had to demand that they review it that day and after some hassle they finally did, it took over an hour and I finally had to convince the manager to at least start my machines while I waited, she was still hesitant and I finally told her that I would give get my driver's license while she reviewed the tape, that I wasn't going anywhere with my clothes in the wash. She finally did it and didn't even finish reviewing the video until my items were almost finished drying. She says she had to give me store credit. At this point, with the way the treated me, the time that they wasted, and the hassle they put me through they should have found a way to reimburse me. I explained that I don't live in El Cajon but they don't care. They closed on Easter! I understand that it's a holiday but a laundromat on a Sunday. Ugh, so I come back this Sunday, load my stuff and they say that they don't have enough money to start the washing machine. The money that they owe me in the first place. They claim it's my fault for what time I came. No, it's their fault. She kept blaming it on me and I had to stand my ground and demand that something be done. I have never been treated so horribly. I've now been here for 30 minutes still waiting for my stuff to be washed. Don't come here, and definitely don't use their quarter machines. read more
