Clean, modern, great dryers, Apple Pay AND genuinely nice people?! I think I found my new laundromat. My usual laundromat was randomly closed on Sunday, so I had a whole car full of clothes and bedding with nowhere to go. This has happened before, and I've been meaning to find a backup, but every other place I'd tried either didn't take cards or had those evil dryers that somehow require 17 cycles and STILL leave your clothes damp. So I did what any reasonable person would do and went on Yelp to figure out where the Señoras would go- because they do NOT play when it comes to their laundry. This place popped up, had great pictures, took cards, and looked clean, so I figured, "Welp, I'm already here. Let's see what happens." When I walked in, I immediately started looking around trying to figure out where the heck you actually pay and how everything worked. Joshua noticed me looking confused, I told him it was my first time, and he walked me through the whole place. He showed me the Laundry Boss app, which is honestly so futuristic compared to the old-school quarter situation. You scan the QR code on the machine, set up your account, load money using Apple Pay, and start your machine right from your phone. As someone who never carries cash, I was SOLD. Joshua also let me know they have a drop-off laundry service (I always assumed that was one of those things that costs an arm and a leg, so I'd never even looked into it) but the pricing seemed reasonable especially if you can pick it up the next day, I always assumed it took several days, And everything gets washed, dried, perfectly folded and packed up for you- They can even drive to you and pick up your laundry from your house! I could see this being really helpful for mom's with kids at home and busy schedules or people like me who waited too long and now have to wash clothes, towels and bedding at the same time Joshua was super kind and genuinely seemed to enjoy helping people. While my laundry was going, I wandered around and started reading all the funny plaques on the walls and noticed this big "Hero Among Us" plaque and Joshua told me the story behind the owner, who apparently is very involved in the community -- doing turkey giveaways, coaching at the local high school, and actually coming into the laundromat during the week to make sure everything is running smoothly. And honestly, you can tell. While I was folding my clothes, I watched Joshua greeting other customers by name and chatting with some of the older folks. He clearly takes pride in what he does, and the whole place has this feeling that it's actually for the community, rather than just being another giant laundry chain where you're fighting with a broken machine over your last three quarters. Also, THE MACHINES. Everything I used was clean and working, and the dryers actually DRY YOUR CLOTHES. I didn't have to put anything through multiple cycles, which should honestly be the bare minimum but apparently isn't. They also have these really cool laundry baskets where one side is higher than the other, making it way easier to pull everything out of the washers without your clothes tumbling onto the floor. It's such a small detail, but when you're washing a million things, little details matter. The location is convenient too. There's an ice cream shop, Mexican food, and this funky little shop next door that seems to sell approximately EVERYTHING. So if you need something to do while your laundry is running (or phone dies) you've got options. My only feedback: I was VERY excited to see they had snacks and sodas because I spotted a Cactus Cooler and I swear I haven't had one in forever. Unfortunately, those were exact-change only. I never have coins on me, so I had to walk away from that Cactus Cooler and I'm still thinking about it. But now I know. Next time, I'm bringing quarters AND my laundry. I originally came here because my usual place was closed, but I left thinking this might actually be my new spot. Clean machines, dryers that do their ONE JOB, easy Apple Pay, thoughtful little details, fair drop-off pricing, and employees who actually seem to care about the people coming through the door. 10/10 would voluntarily do laundry here again. ++(Bonus points if you find the bobble head of Mr Boss Man ) read more

Amazing Fluff & Fold Service! Yesterday, I dropped off my laundry for their fluff & fold service and was blown away by how great everything turned out. The employee who helped me was so kind, attentive, and detailed -- she asked all of the right questions and handled my clothes with care. The machinery are good and clean. Area is is clean, but we cant have your children present in the isle I guess. An employee was saying that we couldn't have our two year old in the isle. Our two year old is still a toddler and likes to cling to us while doing our laundry. I don't know if it was just us, but there are other children roaming around. The app doesn't work so you can't use your rewards points and when you ask the employees they state they have no control over it and that there is nothing they can do. You shouldn't have a rewards program if you aren't going to honor the rewards system in person, fix the application or know how to run the application. read more

First time here, and was greeted by attentive staff, as I was trying to figure out how to get my laundry done. Bernice helped me navigate the payment system and gave me advice on what settings I should use for the bedding that I was washing. I was very appreciative for her insights on what the machines can do. While I was paying, I apparently dropped $80 but another employee, Sheena, picked it up and returned it to me. I gave her reward for her honesty that she reluctantly accepted, as I insisted it was small token of appreciation for her honesty and integrity. I was quoted 1.40/ lb on the phone prior but when I arrived I was charged 1.90/ lb. And then was charged another $30 for using a premium soap when I told them use basic free of charge detergent. I recently visited Swissh & Go, and I wanted to share my experience. Since I haven't visited a laundromat in years, I felt a bit overwhelmed. One of the employees, Sheenia (the cute one) was extremely helpful in explaining how the app worked (she even downloaded it for me) and how to operate the machines using the app. The place was clean, and I would have given five stars, but several of the machines were down. I have yet to join the drop off service band wagon and still am a traditional laundry washer. I feel that finding a laundry spot is as hard as finding a coffee place or a good barber shop. Once I find a spot then I am a loyal customer and unfortunately you have to go through a bunch of bad places to find a good one. It took me years to find a good laundry spot and my last visit was the last straw. I have been to a few other places and am lucky to have found this little gem. Found in a shopping center next to a taco shop and ice cream spot. Have a bite to eat or a snack while you are washing. Like most laundry places they had several machines that are broken. Something that has seemed to be the norm so can't knock them down for what seems to be an issue with most laundry places. What I enjoyed about this place is while most say free wifi that is a lie but here it actually works. Perfect to do some homework, watch you tube videos or anything you wish to do online. What sets this place apart is that you can use an app and credit card to pay for your laundry. They cater to the old school of using quarters and new age of being modern. I had a bunch of quarters I needed to get rid of so I used that for washing and for drying I used their app. There is a fee but it is minimal and didn't mind. The place is small but clean and didn't have to wait long for a machine to open up to wash. If you are looking for a laundry place to wash small or large loads this is a great place to go. I feel safe, comfortable, and it doesn't hurt having delicious eats around to pass the time as well. read more

Have been coming here for a while but this will definitely be my last visit as I am always having a problem with one of the machines & on top of it there is never any employees around to help nor do they answer the phone this machine broke down as it started. I tried calling the number online to get help since 7:34pm it is now 8:20 & I have still not gotten a response mind you this machine was $11 on top of the scent beads & soap I just wasted on it. Thankfully the machine unlocked & I was able to move it to another machine & spend more money & soap on it . I had to wait for another machine I had already started to finish as most of the other ones were broken down . Not to mention to dry your clothes it's a mess since more than half of the drying machines have been broken down for a pretty long time . Also when you try to insert the quarters into the machines they're always getting stuck & you have to either tap the machine or insert some sort of stick to get them to either go in or come out so you can try again . Overall super inconvenient I would come here since it was the closest one but now I'd rather take the time to drive somewhere else considering all the complications I have here . read more

Excellent service! My washer broke and I've been without one for almost 3 weeks. Swissh and Go solved my problem of an ever increasing pile of laundry. This company picks up, washes, folds and delivers all for a little over $1 per pound. That is not a typo. Their prices are very reasonable and they do quality work. Between me and my daughter, we have gotten service for almost 100 pounds of laundry. The turnaround is the next day. They use Gain or Tide and also dryer sheets (for a small fee) and the laundry comes back clean and wonderful smelling. I highly recommend them. read more

I don't typically write reviews but I need to for this place. First off, the ladies that work at this place are so wonderful, kind, and funny! So, I did the drop off service and came back the next day. Its $ 1.46 per pound and like 2 bucks for detergent and dryer sheets. Not a bad price at all!! Everything was pristinely folded and put into a bag too. Attention to detail was amazing, The part that really dropped my jaw was that they even buttoned up all my work shirts!! I just left this place and I had the worse experience. I had my cart taken twice and didn't have a cart at the end of my clothes drying. Customers are rude. I told a guy I was about to fold my clothes where he had put his basket and he started muttering under his breath. Then because I had no cart, I had to put all my dried clothes on folding area. The lady next to me was pissed off and touched/pushed my belongings. She also threw some clothes. I don't really know if the price to wash and dry clothes is of good value because I don't live in San Diego anymore. But I will make sure to remember not to go back here. read more

I am so impressed!! Our washer/dryer broke down, and we have to wait on our new one to get here, but we needed to laundry done and we needed a good turnaround on it. We decided to try pick-up / wash and fold, since our work schedules are both so busy. The woman who picked up/dropped off the laundry was SO polite (and I really appreciated her soft knock - my dog didn't go crazy, which was a huge plus), and we got our laundry pack within 24 hours (10 am - 10 am). It is folder beautifully and packaged so nice. We are very grateful, and will likely use this service for our larger laundry needs (bedspreads, etc.). We used their drop off laundry service when we were staying at the campground at the regional Park in San Diego. I had about 24 pounds of laundry. I dropped it off early on a Friday morning and they had it ready for pick up on the same day in the afternoon. I liked that they had different detergents to choose from. They had a free and clear available as my kids have sensitive skin. When I picked up the laundry they put it in a clear plastic bag nicely folded. 1st time here. Always looking to support small black businesses. Extremely clean inside. Air conditioning. Plus TVs throughout the shop. I was able to catch all the Sunday football games. An abundance of new washing machines and efficient dryers. Only $.25 to dry and 2 quarters will definitely do the job. I use the 4 load (4.00) and 2 load (2.50) washers. Washers when clean inside, no left over debris from previous users. The owner was walking around sweeping inside the laundromat. This was a great laundromat experience if that's possible. Carlton was phenomenal! We are flipping/remodeling a house in Barrio Logan which has become a very dirty job. Very. Dirty. I had some excessively filthy clothes to launder and was shaking them out in Carlton's establishment. When he approached me I thought he was going to scold me for making a mess but to my surprise he was there to guide me through his high tech payment system (which is much easier than I make it sound). He was so friendly and warm it almost felt like I had known him for a minute. His machines are brand new and the spin cycle is so effective that it won't cost you an arm and a leg to dry in his, equally, state of the art dryers. Affordable, friendly and efficient.
