Nathan is the best, call him. I got a problem with a heavy duty car anti-theft device which is called pedal jack. Its lock got broken. I called two yelp-five-star (with 50+ reviews) locksmiths operating closer to my place (Concord) and none of them could help me with it. First one gave up after 20 mins of trying, a second one refused to come as soon as I explained a problem to them. Nathan came very quickly from Berkeley on a weekend and got the damn thing off my pedal in 20-30 mins without causing any damage to my car despite very tight working space. I had a gnarly problem with a non-standard double-cylinder deadbolt on a security gate, and he came out promptly -- in the pouring rain -- and worked diligently to determine and resolve the issue. He replaced only the necessary parts rather than the whole thing, which saved me about 50%. (And he charged a lower base fee than a competing locksmith.) Great experience. I was in urgent need of a lock change to my house because my purse with my house key and drivers license were stolen that day. It had been a difficult day as the robbery also involved breaking into my car and pointing a gun at me, so I was feeling vulnerable and scared.
