We recently hired Eco-Sound, at the recommendation of a friend, to take care of some rodents that were migrating from a neighbor's property and using our vegetable garden as their food source. I was very impressed with how quickly and professionally they handled the issue. I was concerned about making sure their methods were safe for pets, as both of my neighbors have dogs that spend time in the yard. Eco-Sound talked me through how they'd resolve the infestation while keeping pets safe. The rats are gone and the pets are safe! I'd highly recommend this company and will use them again. I reached out to Eco-Sound because I had noticed some increased, unusual (to me) bee activity in my backyard, and was interested in a consult from a company with less toxic options. He explained that it was pretty harmless and short lived - recommending I actually don't get any treatment for those reasons. This company is what I wish every company was nowadays. Greg promptly returned my call as I heard crickets chirping in the basement of our new house. I was a bit worried because it was obvious the crickets were in the house. Greg told me he'd be there the next day between 9-10am and that he'd call first. Greg followed through on this. When Greg arrived, he asked if he could walk the property because he was more concerned with how the crickets were getting in the house in the first place. Greg found an old unused dryer vent. He told me how to seal it up and prevent just about anything from entering. Greg treated the outside and inside of my home. To my amazement, no more crickets and it's only been about 24 hours since Greg was here. I'm also going to take advantage of their quarterly service. Great prices, great service and knowledgeable employees. I can't recommend this company enough! Do not use this business if you may have a squirrel issue. They do not do live trapping or access repair. In our case they came out and identified the problem charged $99 for the inspection and did not solve the problem. Very surprised and disappointed! Instead they recommended Barry's Pest Control who I have contacted. As an update, Greg contacted me and did offer a refund, but I strongly feel that the website should indicate that squirrel removal is no longer offered. read more

Best company ever! Greg was prompt to respond and was as eager as I was to catch the squirrel in my attic. After a week of no catch he called and ask if he could come adjust the trap so we could get the guy! In a matter of hours the squirrel was captured and Greg even came the same day to collect the fury guy. Cannot recommend this company enough! Greg the owner showed up right on time we explained we heard movement thought they were mice he proceeded to go up in the attic and inspect and found BATS!!! I'm pretty sure there is nothing worse than waking up to the sound of something walking on your ceiling of your master bedroom. Well, at least for me! I didn't want to be the one to crawl up and discover what was in my attic, so I contacted Eco-Sound Pest Management via email. I received a response in less than 24 hours during the July 4th week indicating he did service the Ann Arbor area, but was out due to the holiday week. This is what I was expecting, so no surprised there. He told me he had a 12-2 slot open on Monday, which I responded saying I wanted. He called 20 minutes prior to arrival to give me time to leave work and meet him at the house. He promptly found signs of mice outside the house, which I had missed. He then crawled into the attic and found proof of the mice. After deploying some bait, we walked around the basement and he found some old signs of them, so put some extra bait out to be sure. We then took another walk around the exterior to see places I needed to seal up to prevent them from coming back. The bait he uses causes the mice to seek out their natural water supply, so they (in most cases) do not die in the attic but outside. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and prompt. It may take a few days longer to get rid of them, but it's better than having rotting mice carcases in my attic! Additionally, if I hear them after 7-10 days, they will come out to follow up free of charge. He left me with information regarding quarterly treatment plans for the exterior of the house for mice, along with pricing to treat ants and flying insects. His pricing was extremely reasonable. I will update this in a week, but I suspect to have no issues with his service and will be subscribing to the quarterly plan. Long story short: Prompt - check; Extremely knowledgeable - check; Professional - check; Good pricing - check; Stands by his work - check; What more could I ask for? read more

I was looking for a place that does both reactive and proactive pest management for several issues. First, we were unlucky to have a red squirrel take up residence in our attic and since it's not paying rent, sorry buddy, but you have to go. Second, we were catching more spiders and centipedes in the house than we thought was higher than normal. We're a catch and release kind of family, so I was hoping to find a company with a similar philosophy. We hired this company and found the owner Greg to be extremely easy to work with, professional, and share our perspective. He placed catch and release traps for our freeloader and asked me to check them twice daily to avoid catching and starving him. To Greg's word, he called me regularly to check in with me. We also started using their quarterly insect perimeter service and found that our insect problem practically vanished. Greg determined there was no need to spray the inside to avoid bringing the chemicals into our home. Just by spaying the outside was enough. read more
