They came out to our property here in Llano, Texas, quickly excavated the area to find the break, and replaced the damaged section of the pipe on the spot. They got our water back on in no time and did a fantastic job clean-cutting and repairing the line. Extremely reliable and professional local plumbers!

I had a situation where my alarm went off on my grinder pump (not a good thing) if you know what a grinder pump's responsibility is. I called Rhea plumbing (they did the entire plumbing install on my new home construction) and they had a crew in route within 10 minutes! Kenny's office staff (Katie and Jamie) were knowledgable and courteous. His service technicians were excellent, knew their stuff and wasted no time once on site (important @ $175/hr). They had me up and "pumping" in 1 3/4 hrs. But there was still an electrical issue with the floats sending signals improperly to the pump. Kenny personally came out to diagnose the issue and correct it. That's two trip charges which he waived both! Bottom line - it's debatable that this issue would be considered warranty work since its two years after the initial install, that made no difference to Kenny - he wanted me happy and satisfied and waived all charges! Don't expect this - they can't always work for free! Rhea Plumbing in Llano is not my closest plumber, but I'll never consider going any where else for all my plumbing needs! T. P. Honestly the work is good...as it should be from a master plumber…read more The issue I have is the issue I've had with literally every plumber ever. They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. It is what it is. If I was able to do it myself, I would've. Live and learn Learn a trade kids lol
