Floating floor was screwed in to place

Floor improperly installed NV Kitchen installed vinyl plank flooring as part of the kitchen renovation. After 14 months, the flooring started to chip on some of the edges. NV Kitchen said their work had a 12 month warranty. I contacted the floor manufacturer who had an independent inspector examine the floor. The floor should have been a 'free floating' installation, not nailed down and not placed under the cabinets. The floor was nailed and/or screwed in place and installed under the cabinets-it was not installed correctly. I have contacted NV Kitchen and they have ignored my complaint.

Bar - Final Product

We worked with April Hopkins last year to finalize a design for a basement bar (see image of original rendering) she did an amazing job on making sure our plans came to fruition (see image of final product). While she had left the company later in the year, other program managers picked up the project where she left off. While it took a little longer then we would have liked since we faced supply chain issues (not the fault of NV since this was a challenge across the industry), the end product up was exactly how we visioned it. Please note, NV Kitchen and Bath were very accommodating and worked through all our punch list items. We really appreciate how responsive the leadership team was to any issues that arised. Recommend working with them on your next remodel!

They quickly assessed our situation, explained the required repairs, and worked with us to choose materials that would complement the existing out of production tile. In addition to repairing the water damage and restoring the look of the shower, they repaired the drywall behind the shower wall, painted, and installed a ceiling fan. The work was performed quickly, and they did a good job. We are pleased with the results. I was especially pleased that they were able to use the existing glass enclosure and sized the step into the shower to match.

Our feedback on our experience with NV Kitchen & Bath is that we are very happy. We dealt mostly with Sean & Huseyin - and the service we received from both of them was outstanding. The design that Sean came up with absolutely amazed us. I know Huseyin had some input as well). Both the layout & selection of finishes was brilliant. It fitted us and the house so perfectly. It was nothing like what we were expecting - a very unique design but suited us perfectly.

We highly recommend using NV Kitchen & Bath for your next home renovation! Edgar (in the showroom) was eager to help us find the style we were looking for and he did not disappoint ! Oz, the project manager, went above and beyond, along with his team. He was incredibly responsive whenever we had a question. The entire process was pleasant and efficient. We are so glad we chose to work with this company as it was an incredibly positive and enjoyable experience from start to finish!

My husband and I used Potomac Kitchen and Bath for our condo's kitchen renovation in summer 2021…read moreand waited a while to write this review because we wanted some time to reflect on our experience with the company. When we first contacted Mustafa, he was helpful in getting us an estimate and renderings of the proposed kitchen. He answered all our questions, the price was reasonable, and the project started as scheduled, which we appreciated in a time when so many things were back ordered. Harb, our project manager, was just okay. In my mind two of the most important qualities of a PM are communication and quality oversight. Harb's communication was acceptable most of the time but I felt that he really lacked the capacity for proper oversight and ensuring that the quality of the work was acceptable. We often had to point things out to him that he should have seen (e.g. fridge off balance, big noticeable seams in the crown molding, cabinet doors that banged into walls, etc). He was rarely on site and when he was here it was for less than 5 minutes to collect a check. Ultimately what really left a bad taste in our mouth was when one of the cabinet fronts (on the garbage can slider) broke after only a week or two of normal use. We contacted Mustafa/Harb who sent someone to "fix" it and his solution was to add a Velcro sticker to the cabinet instead of actually properly securing the sliding drawer with screws and hardware. Needless to say the cabinet broke immediately and when I contacted the company again they completely ghosted us. Never returned phone calls, emails, or text messages. I think if Potomac had come and properly fixed the cabinet, or at the very least returned our messages, I would have given them a 3.5 star review but this issue really left us upset and worried about the overall quality of the project. We won't be recommending this company to friends or neighbors.

When brainstorming the kitchen and bathrooms, the staff were very helpful with picking out the types of cabinets, counter, flooring, toilets, and hardware. They did a fabulous job with the demolition of the old stuff and the installation of the new cabinets, lighting, floors, toilets, and hardware. The project manager and staff were wonderful with communicating with me and keeping me up to date. I'm grateful to have found Potomac Kitchen & Bath via Angi. I highly recommend them and wish they could do my kitchen in Pennsylvania.

They did an absolutely incredible job on our bathroom remodel, and the quality was worth every penny. Lawrence and his crew were fantastic from demo day to the final finishing touches. The tiling and vanity installation look amazing. Lawrence has excellent communication skills and kept everything strictly on track with our contract. Plus, when uncontrollable plan changes popped up, he was incredibly accommodating and offered great solutions. They truly brought our vision to life. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them again!

Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. I give them my highest recommendation!

KBF designed and installed (with their contractor Rafal) our condo's new kitchen and we love it!…read more When we recently downsized from a single family house to condo we realized the new space couldn't accommodate our stuff. David at KBF miraculously created a new design which (more than) doubled our storage within the existing footprint! In addition the condo's worn (and cheap) cabinets, wallcoverings and countertop were upgraded to beautiful, top-quality, products which will last us many years. Finally, KBF (and their contractor) easily navigated the maze of regulations and procedures required in our large building. Their skill, craftsmanship and professionalism were exemplary. THANK YOU!

Their service is excellent from the designer to the contractors that put everything together. We liked that they kept us to our budget and that their promised timeline was met with a few days to spare. This was important to us since we wanted to go into our holiday season with this upgrade. Their website is transparent. You get a free in home visit and then a rough quote. Once we'd made decisions on products and accessories we were given a full detailed quote. Communication is so important to us and K&B excelled in this area. We sought out other quotes and looked at recent kitchen renovations from their competitors. No one came close to their quality, commitment to excellent service and communication. Check out our before and after photos.

They don't have any Bosch on display (which is what we were interested in) but could help order one. A friend recommended Bray and Scarff, and we gave them a try. We are in the market for a new fridge. We narrowed down to three choices with the associate in the store and went home with the printouts he kindly provided us. We then went home to do some measurement to ensure proper fit. We had a few questions since it's a very tight fit, so we called the store. The associate we spoke to was off for a few days, but the staff in the store was very helpful on the phone. We emailed the associate our further questions and more specifically asked how long to wait if we order the Bosch (answer, more than 1 year!). We were disappointed, and he asked if we had another brand in mind. We asked about a LG fridge, but he said they don't carry any LG; he seemed a bit cold. I later checked their website and realized they don't carry LG or Samsung. We checked Home Depot and Best Buy nearby, and their lead time for the Bosch was 1.5-5 months depending on model. It seems the lead time depends on if the store sells Bosch regularly or not.

We had good experiences with Bray and Scarff for appliance buying over decades. However, no…read moreappliance ever had issues. That's a caveat! We got new appliances from them last year. The first was defective from Hour One, was reported that day, but it took over a month of emails and calls and time on hold, plus multiple technician visits, to get them exchange it AS PROMISED promised under their Sales Terms: "If you experience a functional defect with your appliance within 7 days of its delivery, please contact your sales representative immediately. A functional defect refers to a fault or issue that hinders the proper working or performance of the appliance. Examples include the appliance not turning on, not functioning as intended, producing inadequate results, or having features and components that do not work properly. These defects can be a result of manufacturing errors, design flaws, wear and tear, or damage during handling or transportation. To initiate an exchange, a Bray & Scarff or manufacturer's repair technician will verify the functional defect (in writing) once it has been reported within the 7-day period. If the defect is not reported within this timeframe, the appliance will be repaired if it is covered by a manufacturer's warranty or service plan. For more details, please refer to the terms and conditions." The exchange appliance developed problems soon after the manufacturer warranty ended, Bray and Scarff apparently switched how they do service (not really disclosed when we bought their extended warranty in order to use their in-house repair service). You have to file with Centricity for repair authorization, adding delay and poor service quality. The tech they sent said "he had not ever seen" our issue, did not know what it was, but ordered a part anyway, to arrive TBD. This is not what they promise on their website: "Purchasing your appliance from Bray & Scarff Appliance & Kitchen Specialists gives you access to our in-house repair center. Each member of our repair team undergoes continuous training in order to stay on the cutting edge of appliance repair service." This is not the "Bray Way" we used to have, or why we stuck with them. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Update: We hadn't heard from them for well over a week, longer than the promised arrival of the part that might or might not fix the appliance. By then, the appliance was clearly failing. We decided to replace it from another merchant and manufacturer.
