I want to share my full experience with Floors and Designs because it differed greatly from the glowing reviews I initially read online. In December 2024, my husband and I began looking for a company to update our flooring. After researching, we chose Floors and Designs in Burke based on their reviews. Our initial interactions were positive -- professional, responsive, and courteous. The owner, Saman Eskandari, provided our walkthrough and estimate, and the quote seemed fair compared to others we received. During this visit, I specifically mentioned our large furniture, and he assured me his team would handle it. In August, we visited the showroom and worked with Matt, who was professional and helpful. He confirmed with Sam that a military discount would be applied at the time of our final payment. We placed our deposit, scheduled the installation, and moved forward. The installation team was excellent. They were professional, efficient, and the flooring looks fantastic. I have nothing but praise for their workmanship. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. A miscommunication about the stairs led to them not being covered during the project, leaving the carpet stained. When my husband raised the issue, Sam dismissed our concerns, repeatedly emphasizing that he had not charged us for moving furniture or baseboards, and therefore would not provide compensation. When it came time for final payment, the military discount we were promised was not applied. Matt acknowledged that he had indeed offered it, but said Sam refused to honor it. When I attempted to follow up directly, Sam called me and the conversation quickly turned unprofessional. He repeatedly interrupted, raised his voice, and focused only on what he claimed were "discounts" he had already given rather than addressing my concerns. He contradicted what was promised, denied conversations had taken place, and showed little interest in resolving the issue. In short: Pros: The installation team did excellent work, and our floors look beautiful. Cons: The owner was dismissive, unprofessional, and unwilling to resolve concerns in good faith. A promised military discount was not honored, and the handling of customer concerns fell far short of the "100% satisfaction" guarantee promoted on their website. Because of the outstanding work of the crew, I am leaving two stars. However, due to the owner's unprofessionalism and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend this company and would advise others to proceed with caution. read more

We were moving into a new home, and needed new floors. Ok, we didn't need new floors, but I hated the red oak hardwood, and the tile in the kitchen. We were planning on LVT, but Sam gently convinced us to keep the hard wood, and said he would be able to install hardwood in the kitchen and foyer to match. Early last year, Floors and Designs removed the linoleum, carpet, and engineered hardwood on the main level of my house and replaced it all with Bruce luxury vinyl plank (LVP) that has been a phenomenal transformation. The LVP was a recommendation from Sam, and the brighter, natural oak color opens up the space making it appear bigger. Sam had a crew of three professionals that transformed the main level in about 1.5 days. The crew worked hard and was friendly. The LVP has been easy to clean and holds up to traffic well. As an added precaution, I do have felt protectors at the bottom of my chairs. Love the cohesive look that the product provides and have plans for the company to update some other areas. The buying experience was excellent. We sat down with Sam, discussed options and budget in the calming showroom. Sam provided us with samples to take home and so we began. Sam was able to to have the products ready to install within one week of selection and the pricing seemed reasonable. The hardwood installers team headed by J were hard working, showed up on time and did a beautiful job. It took them 1.5 days to remove and replace the main level flooring. The upstairs carpeted rooms had an equally hard working crew that arrived on time and that completed their job in one day to include removal and replacement.
