I found it intrusive and irritating to come home to advertising materials left at my door without permission. It gives a poor first impression and makes the company seem more interested in pushing flyers than respecting homeowners' space. Based on that alone, I would not be inclined to contact or hire them. I'd prefer they use less invasive forms of advertising and avoid leaving materials at private residences unless requested. read more

Our 1939 house was suffering from deferred maintenance. Flaking stucco, dry rot in wood trim and fading paint. Having observed this outfit on an exterior paint job in the next block we got in touch. Daniel provided a very detailed bid in writing for repairing and painting at a very competitive price. The job took took them 12.5 working days and in excess of 200 man-hours. The finished work is extremely satisfying to us, the best paint job this old house has seen in the 32 years we've owned it. Daniel Roud of Econo Painters did a fabulous job on a overdue paint job on a rental property that I own. He is very professional, easy to work with and completed the job in the estimated time frame. He helped with paint colors of which I was struggling and the colors came out great. He was patient and addressed all my special requests. He had to replace doors, decorative wood and facia boards which he included in the job with no additional costs upon completion. He worked well with my tenants and got in and out as quickly as possible. He also did a great job cleaning up after all the work was complete. We have now used Econo Painters twice. The first time was after doing wall insulation. We had a company, see my other reviews, come out and insulate the walls of 3 of the bedrooms from the inside. We figured drywall is much easier to repair then stucco and doesn't crack later and my wife wanted to give the rooms a fresh coat of paint anyways. After getting quotes from a few painters, we decided on Econo Painters, not because of price, but because of Daniel. He made us feel confident that he would do a quality job and gave my wife suggestions on colors during the bid process. While we were at it, we had them remove the popcorn from the ceilings, remove some paneling and do all the drywall patching. They did a good job at all the drywall patching and texturing. The painting of the transition lines between walls and ceiling and along the baseboards were straight. There was some minor touch ups that we noticed after they were done, but when we called and told Daniel about them, he personally came out took care of them all. When we had the rest of the walls in the house insulated this past month, we didn't even bother getting quotes again, we just went with Econo Painters. The difference this time is that we had more drywall work and decided to hire dry waller. In hindsight, this was a mistake, however, the paint job was just as good as the first time. I wouldn't hesitate, hiring Econo painters again. read more
