Those calls were about two things: getting on their schedule for regular maintenance and to follow up about the option they presented to better cool our upstairs. I did manage to get ONE call back recently and spoke with the son who assured me that Jerry would call me back and get me on the calendar for the following week for a regular service visit. No call back. It's "funny" to me how they always managed to find time to call me back when they were about to get paid for the brand new HVAC they were installing in our home. The same courtesy should be given when calls are made to them after the initial job is done. Both Jerry and his son dropped hints multiple times that there isn't enough time to get everything done and there's not enough good people out there to hire to keep up with the business. While I get that completely, the customer shouldn't be the one to suffer. You should always find time to call the customers back. I am the first to promote and refer the companies that treat us well and take care of us. 3 years ago I was doing that with Speedtown. It appears as though I made a mistake and this is not the same company now that it once was.

My dad gave them $6,000 to clear a clogged pipe under the kitchen floor. They were out multiple times in the first week, but they did not want to do the work, they just sat in the back yard and sent a camera under the house to see where the issue was. They also brought broken equipment to do the jetting, which accidently slipped out of the new kid's mouth that they brought with them. He forced my dad to pay right then and there for the work, my dad didn't even get to ask any questions or see if they completed the job. they said that they would be back tomorrow to finish the job and he left. They did come back but they didn't do anything again. They kept leaving and coming back saying they had to go get parts. They came back one more time saying that they needed more money to do the job and my parents refused and they have never been back and they haven't returned our calls either. The owner said they did the work and to do the unclogging it would be thousands more. He is refusing to say they failed to complete the job and he will not give any of my parents' money back. I have checked with 4 other plumbing companies now and they said it only costs $1,000 to run and camera and jet a pipe. Bassett got $6,000 to do it! They are a complete scam of a company! My poor parents have been getting their water from Walmart grocery delivery since June 6th now, I have 5 gallons and a case of water delivered their every week for them to have water. To wash their dishes, they have to take it to the shower to clean them. It's been a ridiculous scam with them. I would never use Bassett for anything! They will take your money and ghost you!
