I recently had a watering system installed by Aqua System. Jim came out to look and he was not only professional, but also very informative and outlined my options and what the process would entail. I received a quote within a day. I was also having sod placed at the same time and Jim worked effectively with those landscapers so that they could coordinate their efforts. Plumbers came to my house to run a pipe outside. They were very accommodating with scheduling and the process was seamless. The installation was scheduled. The team was on time and installed the necessary heads. There were several things that needed to be adjusted which they promptly did within a day or 2. The foreman, Anthony, was professional and a pleasure to work with. Overall, the whole process was efficient with superb professionalism, and with very pleasant people. I look forward to seeing how well it works next Spring. If the functionality parallels the customer service, I am sure to be very satisfied. read more

I've had the water system for many years. The past 2 years the quality of customer service has deteriorated. Today was the last straw. I attempted to schedule salt delivery June 15. It was scheduled for today, June 24. The delivery schedule was from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. A nine hour window for service. Text and calls went unanswered to get a time frame. At 4 pm I contracted with another company for future salt delivery. I don't know if the aqua systems sold, they grew too fast, what happened but it is disappointing. Clearly providing good customer service is no longer a priority. I do not recommend. read more

I had a whole-house filtration system put in 2023. It broke last week, I called Avon, and they said my system was out of warranty because it was a 2016 model. It was presented as new to me. Has anyone else had this issue? I have grounds for a consumer fraud claim under Indiana law. I will file a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. I will also contact my attorney for misrepresentation and fraud. Franklin Electric assumed all liability when it purchased Aqua Systems. read more

My new condo has a whole house water softener. I paid Aqua Systems a monthly maintenance fee to service. When first maintenance was due, I received an unexpected form email stating "my package was on the way" the next day. The next day I received a form email stating "delivery of my package could not be completed." When I called Aqua to ask about the emails, Aqua said the emails were notification of a service call that I did not know about, that they thought I'd be home to let them in, that they couldn't park when they arrived unexpectedly, etc. We agreed to reschedule service and Aqua agreed to ask if I'd be home before they came. Weeks went by. When I called the 4th time to reschedule and threatened to cancel the contract, Aqua responded by email they would cancel my contract as they have few customers in my area. I called Aqua to say I had prepaid for maintenance that they did not provide. Aqua agreed to refund 3 months of fees. I would not recommend this company because of poor customer service. read more

The customer service for this company has really dropped off. I have used this company for well over 10 years and I believe they were brought out by someone else. Since then I have trouble getting my salt deliveries. It's very difficult to speak to someone. Customer service is just awful. We have a 7 1/2 year old water softener system from Aqua systems. The water flow to the house stopped, we put system in bypass and called for service. When the technician arrived he stated that the media had came loose and the bed needs to be changed. After he noticed the age of the system he called in to see if it could be covered by warranty. He stated that the office told him that the company needed a pressure test of the water coming into the house before they would even consider any warranty work on my unit. They preformed the test the next day and it was within the required limits. I went to the office told see if any of the work or parts would be covered. I spoke with a customer representative in service , he looked up the work order and told me that my unit was out of warranty and they would not be covering any of the repairs. I stated that I was disappointed in the fact that their unit failed in such a short period of time. He said he understood my frustration but there would be no help from the company. I have had two water softeners from this company always had good customer service until now there was no offer of a prorated rate or any discussion about customer service even after I bought it up. Apparently they no longer want to stand behind their product. I hate to say it but they have lost a customer and an advocate for the company. read more

Aqua Systems has rectified sulfur smell coming from new system by removing the Anode Rod in my water heater. The tech came back to my house and took an hour to do service call and since he removed the Anode Rod the sulfur smell is gone. As of now we are extremely happy with the out come. read more

The drive-thru pickup for softener salt is very quick and convenient. The bags of salt are loaded into the trunk of your car, and you pay without getting out of your vehicle. We have also had Aqua Systems repair our reverse osmosis system in our home. The service person was polite and efficient, and repairs were done in a timely manner. It is so nice to have this service so close to our home! read more

Sales rep and installers were pros and super efficient for a difficult install without much space to work in. I stopped into their Avon location to try and purchase some water hardness test strips to see if my softener was working properly as it was fairly old. The guy says "i don't think we have any" but does not offer to check. Then he says "if you bring in a sample of your water we will test it for free". So, he doesn't THINK they have any testing strips but if I make another trip they will test my water....what is he going to use to test it?? I am probably going to have to replace my old unit in the near future, DO YOU THINK I AM GOING TO COME BACK TO THESE PEOPLE??? read more

I called Aqua System to repair the leak on the tank of my Aqua System water softener. They sent a technician to repair the leak. After examining my system, I was informed the system was too old and they would not repair it. I was then given a 10 minute sales pitch to purchase a new system. Based on Aqua System's records they already knew my system was too old to repair, so I am confused as to why I was charges $135.00 for what amounted to a sale call. I later called a plumber, who came out and repaired the leak for $79.00. read more

Aqua Systems really worked hard to help me understand the problem, but was also open to understanding my side of the difficulties and was willing to work with me to come up with a solution. I really was impressed with their willingness to stand behind their products, come up with satisfactory solution, and make sure they did their best for me as their customer. I have to say i am really impressed. For a company to stand behind their product like Aqua Systems in today's world says a lot about their company. After my first review, I would have never recommended Aqua Systems or their products. After working through this difficulty with them, i would recommend their products without hesitation. Awful, just awful. I rented a system from them. I up graded from the current system when we bought our home. They hooked it up improperly and my brand new sink turned rust red. The tech suggested that I buy a cleaner and left after fixing the problem. Apparently the home owner has to pay for the companies mistakes. I moved from that home and canceled service. I just received a bill that says I owe two months payments for March and May. I haven't been a customer for over a year and they are trying to bill me for something I don't own! This is the fifth such customer bill I have received and they stop for a while and then restart. No amount of calls or letters change this. DO NOT use this company!!! Your credit could be in jeopardy if they can't figure out their billing. read more

Have had a system for several years. It functioned just fine for the first 4 - 5 years. Since then, they have "repaired" it a couple of times. Based on the readout, we get 1100+ gallons of soft water. Hasn't happened in a looong time. It is nice and soft after a recharge, but recharges happen less than 1/2 the way through a total cycle. The local branch agrees that the water is getting hard, but have refused to offer any solutions other than buying a whole new system. If I have to do that, it WON'T be from AS ! read more

These people are horrible. I had a softer leak and called on Monday to make an appointment for Tuesday. Took the day off of work to be there. They called Tuesday morning to say that they would be there between 1 and 4. No call. No show. Finally got fed up and left at 5. I'll be switching to someone who actually does what they say they are going to do (novel concept, isn't it?). Avoid these people at all cost!!!! Unless, of course, you have the luxury to sit around and do nothing for hours waiting for people who will never show up (or even offer an explanation as to why). read more

I went in to Aqua Systems yesterday intending to buy another Aqua Systems conditioner but the Service Manager recommended I look at a couple more things on my current 29 year old unit. He was very polite and helpful while he showed me what to do with a spare unit in the office. Hopefully this will negate having to buy a replacement unit for awhile. Called him today for more information concerning the timer settings which he gave freely over the phone. Kudos to Aqua Systems!!! read more
