We did as he recommended. Please note my father is a Spanish speaking senior. 76 years old. Upon return, he was irritated and extremely rude. He yanked the smog paper from my husbands hands. Very rude!!! This is not acceptable! Who does he think he is? He is in the wrong neighborhood if he cant work with our hispanic aging community. Today, 2/2/26 my father returned to Ed without my knowledge. My father informed me Ed yelled at him, told him to leave. I called and inquired on this incident. He hang up on me. My 76 year old father paid. Im furious over this. This is beyond unacceptable. Who does he think he is to speak and treat our aging community this way?! He is in the WRONG city. My mom recommended this place since she's taken her car here for minor repairs and maintenance. I…read morehad a nail in one of my tires which was deflating it and causing an issue. I took it in randomly and they said they'd take a look at it right away. Initially they did find the nail and showed me where it was, said it was fixable, and gave me the option of a patch or plug. I chose a patch for $25. Right as he was about to take the tire to repair, he turned around and showed me that the tire had more internal damage (since I had to drive an inflated tire to the shop--it was pretty bad). He then recommended I either purchase a new or used tire. I didn't feel pressured to purchase there, they were pretty upfront, informative, and answered all my questions. Ultimately, I ended up going with a used tire for $80. The tire still seems in pretty good condition and I hope it lasts a while. They installed the new tire, the process was quick and I was able to go about the rest of my day. The people there were all really nice and friendly and they all were accommodating to my endless questions and concerns. They also alerted me that I was going to need brakes soon (which I already knew), and they gave me estimates for that should I chose to do the work there. Overall, place is local, convenient, and quick.

I own a moving truck and park near this smog test, so I thought it'd be a quick and cheap test…read more They're called BUDGET, right? I made the mistake of pulling into the test with a check engine light. Instead of being a decent human being and warning me that I would not pass the test, Onnig performed the test anyway. Knowing I would fail. He also charged me over $100 for the test! After speaking with my mechanic, who I trust, most truck tests are closer to $70. On top of that, Onnig promised me he'd only charge half now, and if I came back and completed the test he'd charge me half after. Instead, he charged me the ENTIRE amount, and then when I returned to get retested (after spending over $600 in sensor repairs + gas to drive the truck around), he had the audacity to charge me another $50 for the retest! I pointed out he had already charged me $100, which was well over the normal amount and he had lied about charging me only half. He simply scratched out $40 and offered to only charge me $10. It felt like a win in an otherwise losing situation, so I took it. Onnig is a liar and a cheat. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You have been warned.
