My mom recommended this place since she's taken her car here for minor repairs and maintenance. I had a nail in one of my tires which was deflating it and causing an issue. I took it in randomly and they said they'd take a look at it right away. Initially they did find the nail and showed me where it was, said it was fixable, and gave me the option of a patch or plug. I chose a patch for $25. Right as he was about to take the tire to repair, he turned around and showed me that the tire had more internal damage (since I had to drive an inflated tire to the shop--it was pretty bad). He then recommended I either purchase a new or used tire. I didn't feel pressured to purchase there, they were pretty upfront, informative, and answered all my questions. Ultimately, I ended up going with a used tire for $80. The tire still seems in pretty good condition and I hope it lasts a while. They installed the new tire, the process was quick and I was able to go about the rest of my day. The people there were all really nice and friendly and they all were accommodating to my endless questions and concerns. They also alerted me that I was going to need brakes soon (which I already knew), and they gave me estimates for that should I chose to do the work there. I went to go buy a used tire there and noticed the air valve was not right but they said it was fine. As time went by the tire keep losing air so I went back. They tell me the air valve is loose? They go ahead, fix that and charge me again to fix their mistake. Marlon said he has to charge us anyway because he has to? Got a bolt stuck in the passenger side rear tire and made a visit to Fernando over at Omar's Wheels and Tires on Astoria in Sylmar. I believe they are affiliated with the one on Maclay street. Fernando had Huero patch my tire and I was out of there in about 20 minutes and he only charged me 10 dollars, while I was there I got a quote for a new tire in case he couldn't fix it and his price was better than other places I called. I would recommend this place just ask for Fernando. They also do mechanic work I've used them before on other vehicles and they have done a great job and good prices. read more

This ish happened to me for real...I am a business owner who went here for new rims and tires......all was good until I came to pickup my car....one wheel had the clear coat peeling on it. I brought it to their attention and was told [bey jesus] it was no problem...they would order me a replacement and he gave me all his info and advised he would call me in a couple days when it was ready. Then he ghosted.....I finally got someone there to call me back. now they say i need to put a weenie wheel on my ish and bring them the wheel and then they will have to send it off while i cruise around on a weenie wheel after droppin bands on new wheels n tires. go across the street and save yourself time and money read more

Once again, Omar came to my rescue and I just had to leave another review. I was not able to put air in my tire at a gas station, it just wouldn't take and the tire was low and the steering was pulling to the left when I let go of the wheel. It was after 5 pm, I was racing to his place because that's the only tire place I know in the area and I was hoping he could help me figure it out and he did. He was already closed, but luckily I caught him just in time. He figured out the problem why the air wouldn't go in, put another part on it and put air in it. He didn't even want to charge me. Had AAA come out and replace my tire after a nailed left it completely flat. I showed up at Omar's right at 6pm when they were closing (I NEVER do this but times were desperate). I asked Fernando if he can help me with a quick tire patch and WITHOUT hesitation he was there to help me out. Needed two rear tires and wasn't really ready to pay full price on some especially driving a bmw. So I tried to get some used tires just for now til I save for a full set ( easily 1,000) Head over to Omar's based off the good reviewsss and I got what I expected! I called before arriving to get an idea of the cost to remove a screw from one if my tires, and the price is very reasonable, and the employee told me to come on down. I was greeted by a male employee, and within a couple minutes my tire was removed and getting patched up. I was out of there within 10 minutes.
