Took an older VW to him, and it had some issues, so he made several suggestions as to potential fixes that would help it pass. Normally, a technician might say, "Sorry, you it didn't pass," then go about their day, but he went the extra mile to help out. It was nice to have someone so thorough. I was worried it might be cheaper to replace the car, but I did a quick cleanup on the throttle body, and came back to him to have it quickly pass state smog inspection. Super fast and friendly service. Called in advance and was told over the phone they were not currently busy so I arrived within about 10 minutes and Farkis took me in straight away. Filled out some paperwork and a few minutes later I was told the test was done and all was good. The paperwork I provided along with receipt and certificate was provided back to me and money exchanged and I was on my way. I was told certificate would be provided to DMV electronically and I would receive my tags in the mail in a few weeks (since fees were paid to DMV in advance). Great location to get your ride smog checked. This was my first time here, wasn't sure I could get a good price and was coming completely wrong. This location is very affordable and the owner is very honest and nice. Location were it's located looks busy but we're his shop is in the back is very spacious too park, and the area around his shop is very clean and there's a clean couch to sit and wait while your car gets checked. I called on a Thursday morning about 10:45 and they were so quick to answer my call and tell me they could take me in 15 mins! Now I only live 8 mins away so this was perfect. I was greeted with a smile, offered a beverage, and explained the whole process. It only took about 10 mins and I was off! They take cash, credit, and debit. And for the cost they include he inspection, a free retest within 30 days should you fail, the certificate, and they transfer your info to the DMV. Went in to get my brake and lights checked on my Honda Civic and I have to say that Sarkis was GREAT he provided us with excellent customer service. They even have a big clean comfy couch where you can sit and wait for the inspection to be over. Overall I have to say I had a really good experience at el smog the guy was really friendly, helpful, and most of all honest and even though my car didn't pass because I did have a faulty left light he still gave me 30days to go back and not have to pay again.
