Scott and team are great! They're efficient, friendly and helpful. I got stuck at a gas station, car wouldn't start. Not to sure if it was battery related or what not, but they arrived within their estimated quote. I accidentally texted the mechanic shop my location instead of Scott/Economy but they called to follow up with me. This was greatly appreciated as I would have just been waiting. They were able to jump my car and even "escorted" me to the mechanic shop I was heading to. Their business happens to be nearby. Scott also asked me all the necessary info: car make, color, AWD/FWD, etc and made sure he brought a flat bed. I knew my car would be secure with them versus other tow trucks I dealt with. When my truck was towed,I was beside myself. When I showed up to the door I didn't know what to expect because I've never had my car towed. Scott greeted me warmly and showed great empathy and compassion towards my situation. He was alert and focused on me and in tune with how I was emotionally. Scott explained the whole process and guided me through it with such compassion towards me. I felt comforted doing business with him because he was so upfront and explained what he was doing every step of the way. He even took extra time to hear my side of the story that lead me to him. I could feel a weight lift off of my shoulders during our conversation. His associate, Andrew was fantastic as well. He was the epitome of polite and I was impressed with his manners. He was very formal, very business like, very demure. I was quite impressed. It wasn't long that we were there that I encountered a problem about how I was going to get my vehicle home because I use a wheelchair. They went above and beyond when they found out my dilemma. Instead, they helped me figure out how to get my vehicle home when it wasn't safe for me to drive it. They didn't need to do that, but they saved the day by doing that. I really am thankful for their kind gesture and the service they provided me. I now know that if I am in need of a towing service again, I know who to call. My truck died on me and for the first time in my life, I required towing service without the privilege of an AAA membership or the luxury of having roadside service for as long as you own that certain brand vehicle...which is the sweetest thing ever! My insurance covers roadside service but provided no information about who to call or what, other than filling out a claim form afterward. So I called the mechanic I was planning to take my truck to he recommended for me to call Economy Tow as their rates are decent and are located in Milpitas. So, it was Saturday morning at 8:45am, I called the number and a gentleman answered. He was friendly, but it sounded like I woke him up...sorry!! He asked for my info and said he'd be at my location in 30-minutes. He literally showed up at the 30-minute mark, I was impressed. Although I didn't catch his name, he was a nice guy. He needed me to steer the truck to get it on to the flat bed, no biggie, he couldn't have done it all by himself anyhow. I followed him to my mechanic's spot, he unloaded my truck, gave him my credit card and apparently he has a POS system on the truck as it generated a receipt that you have to sign. Neato! Economy Tow provided the service I needed at a decent rate. Hope you don't need their services but if you do, give them a call. read more

I've had bad towing experiences before so I felt the need to write a good review for this place. When I called to ask what time they opened I was told 8:30 but he (owner?) said he could be there at 8:00 which was great since I had to get to work. I asked how much and he honestly told me up front the price for the tow and the price for storage. For one night it totaled around $275 or maybe a little less. I wasn't happy about the price but that's how the ball rolls with getting your car towed. I was also worried something might be missing from the trunk like some of my xmas gift I bought for my granddaughter but everything was untouched. Aside from this being an honest place, the guy seemed to be genuinely concerned about my medical emergency I had on the freeway & asked how I was doing. In my opinion, this is a good business although I came in with the attitude that all towing companies are a racket. There is a big bold sign as you walk in with the prices so they don't toss made up prices at you. read more

Good service usually doesn't get enough kudos, but this company deserves that and more. After an initial call to another local towing company within 2 miles said minimum of 2-3 hour wait, I happened to call upon AA&A after my tire completely flattened from a road hazard. They were also within 2 miles but said they'd be to me in 15-20 minutes... and indeed they were! Terry, the owner, worked speedily and skillfully to get my car on the tow truck, and to the tire shop. It's not often that owners go out to service their clients directly, but Terry was super amicable and you could tell he's a true professional. I love to support local small businesses, and this one certainly meets the mark. But guess who saved the day for more than half the quoted price of an area competitor and 75% faster than insurance provided tow driver was to arrive. You got it ECONOMY TOW! Now you say prompt(approx 15 min) ,reasonable that should be enough right? Nope, the customer service was exceptional, answered right away did not leave me on hold for 6 minutes, very nice and personable. Tonight my starter failed on my 1995 Honda and I had to get it towed. After calling many places in the area I was getting discouraged . I don't know where customer service has gone these days. Everyone I had called was rude or gave me really high quotes . Finally I got in touch with AA and A Economy Tow & Service. The gentleman who took care of me tonight was a straight shooter, stand up guy. I called him up for a quote and he didn't give me the runaround. I explained my situation. I told him where my car was located and where I needed it to go. He met me there in 30 minutes! On top of that, his price was the lowest in town, and completely reasonable. He charged me exactly what he said he would, which is unheard of with this type of service. He was fast, quick, and efficient. I am extremely satisfied with his service, and he over exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this service to anyone who finds themselves in the same situation-emergency or not. I wouldn't even bother calling the "other guys". His service was so great that this is my first review on Yelp, as I felt compelled to let others know who to call in a jam. My family was dealing with an unfortunate situation. Our vehicle was towed and this was among many of the issues we were trying to sort out. I spoke to Terry to try to get the car released. I was stuck in traffic trying to get to him and knowing that he closed at 5 pm made it even more stressful.
