Omggg got a flat downtown San Jose and H&H came to my rescue within twenty minutes as quoted. Two gentleman drove the tow vehicle and were very careful with my vehicle. The driver of the tow also drove very carefully, navigating downtown turns and traffic with professionalism. The tow truck was a double cab so I just sat in the back and did not feel uncomfortable at all (as a solo female!). It was $70 on credit card to a tire shop about 2 miles away, but 20 minutes with traffic and street closures etcetera. They were really nice too and told me to just get my tire repaired, not replaced. Turns out I had a big old hole in the side (so it did have to be replaced) but I appreciated them looking out for me at the tire shop. Very trustworthy, reliable business. What normally would be a very stressful situation was rendered fairly seamless with the help of H&H. Hope to never have to do business with them again (haha, bad circumstances) but if I needed a tow I would absolutely call H&H again! read more

I used Hector yesterday. My truck died on the 101 in Morgan Hill with two vintage scooters in the bed on the way to a scooter rally in SLO. I think we only waited like maybe 45min tops. Luckily he had a flatbed truck and was able to hoist my '86 Ford ranger in the back. Towing rate was really reasonable to get me to South San Jose but he offered another price to drive us all the way back home to San Leandro which I thought was a good price too so I just had him tow me home. We fixed the truck, fingers crossed when I got home. Fingers crossed since it is a bit of a beast. But if I'm in the area again and need a tow, hopefully not... I'd definitely call Hector! read more

Let me start with a little background information on why I had to use their service. I had just gotten home from a very long day at work and I don't understand how but as I was getting out of my car I took the keys out of the ignition and place them on my passengers seat while I started placing the covers on my window shield and locked myself out. So I look on yelp for someone close and hopefully not too expensive and I come across this one. I forgot his name since I'm writing this review long after my service, but felt like I should because he was amazing. You know what? their office was really close by.They charged me $130 for only 2 miles drive. THAT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. The other towing services can charge around $50--$60 with short distance. (This is a review for Hector) First off, I work for an auto body shop in Fremont. I needed to tow a vehicle to a dealership in san jose to get some work done because the towing company that i normally do business with was busy that day. I needed the car to be at the dealership at a specific time because the dealer does appointments only. I had to wait a whole week for this appointment because it was the soonest appointment available. I literally called 7 towing companies. Most of them didn't do towing by appointments, and some didn't answer at all. Finally, I gave H&H Towing a call. Hector was very accommodating to the fact that my situation was time sensitive. We had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the vehicle to the dealership before 9am because im in fremont and he was in san jose, and considering all the traffic and my shop opens at 8am. He finally suggested that he should pick up the vehicle the day before the appointment, store it at his facility overnight, and then drop it off first thing in the morning. I texted him first thing in the morning asking if he could let me know when the vehicle was at the dealer. He responded right away letting me know that the vehicle was already there! I called the dealer and they confirmed that the vehicle was indeed there. Hector really saved my ass. If i were late for that appointment, the next availability would have been over a week later! My customer would have drop kicked me in the chest. In my kind of work, there are many times we are forced to rely on a third party to accomplish time sensitive tasks. Which most of the time, end up being horrible experiences. This was not one of those times. I definitely recommend H&H Towing. Hector went above and beyond for me and I'm certain he will for you too! A towing company isn't always someone you want to do business with, but every so often comes the need. Hector at H & H Towing comes in at the top of the list when it comes to customer service. I purchased a vintage car on a Thursday (1st Gen CVCC) and needed to tow it from Concord to my mechanic in Santa Clara on Friday or Saturday. I called a few places to get some quotes and the cheapest I was given was $250. I also called H & H Towing, and since I got a voicemail greeting, I left my contact information and asked for a quote on a tow for Friday or Saturday. First thing Friday morning I receive a call from Hector saying that he just so happened to be in Concord that morning for another job, and that he could tow my car on his way back for $150. Wow, what a deal. I thought it might be a problem because I had the key in San Jose, and had no way of getting it to him in Concord at that time. He said that as long as no cars were parked in front of it, he didn't need the key. Since the car was on the street, I had no way of knowing if there was a car parked in front of it at that particular time or not. Hector agreed to go and check anyway, not knowing for sure if he would be able to tow the car that morning without the key (although I agreed to compensate him for his time if he couldn't). This is where the real customer service comes in. Hector calls me to tell me that he sees the car, there are no cars in front of it, and that he can tow it. There is one problem however, the previous owner refuses to let him take the car. (I won't get into all the details, but the seller wanted an additional $100, on the spot. I tried making arrangements to make an immediate payment via PayPal, mail a Money Order, transfer money, anything, but he wouldn't budge. I'm not trying to cheat him out of anything, but he wants cash on the spot, or the car stays. Even though I've already been given the keys and title.) I speak with Hector again and apologize that I had him run around, but that the previous owner won't let the car go until I give him an additional $100. Hector says, 'Is that all? I have $100 in my pocket. I'll just give him the cash". I'm really shocked at his generosity to help. I agree to repay Hector when I pay for the towing, so he gives the guy the $100 and tows the vehicle to Santa Clara. All of this is happening while I'm at work, so I can't really make arrangements to wait for Hector at the mechanic and pay him when he arrives. I asked Hector if I can leave the payment in an envelope for him (including the $100 he put out of his own pocket) at the mechanic shop. He agrees. An hour or so later, he calls me to tell me the car is at the mechanic shop and that he received the envelope with payment. Without Hector's help, this whole towing ordeal would have certainly taken more time, cost more money, and have been a lot more stressful. THANKS HECTOR FOR ALL YOUR HELP! read more

Excellent, quick service. On our way back to San Francisco from a weekend trip the power steering went out on our vehicle. We were able to pull off of the 280 in San Jose, and looked up a local towing company. Hector responded right away, we only had to wait 15 minutes (on a Sunday afternoon), and loaded our SUV onto the flatbed within minutes and we were on our way. I feel like I made a Yelp account solely for all the car issues I have. My car wouldn't start when leaving work, so I jumped on yelp and tried calling to get a tow. The first place I called went to voicemail then I called H & H due to them being the second company listed on my Yelp search.
