I am so thankful for this tow company tonight. I came out of an appointment to a flat tire at about 5 pm. With tire stores about to close and Bay Area traffic I wasn't sure how all this was going to work out. Joey helped me so much to have a driver to me in about 15 minutes. I couldn't believe it as my towing provider said it would be an hour. They had me to Big O Tires in no time and Big O jumped in and fixed the tire super quick. Horrible people. I hope they read this.... I had an accident on highway 17 heading towards San Jose. It was pouring rain, early morning and in rush hour traffic. CHP called them as they use them regularly (why, who knows). Truck arrived after being told a flatbed will be needed for an AWD SUV. They show up (well 1 employee in a uniform and his friend or whomever he was standing around) , start talking to me about how they will take my car to their shop all the way to the SJ airport. I explained I live in Santa Cruz and car needs to go there instead. They called their boss who basically told me no then hung up on me... seriously! By then, I had called AAA who spoke with them in a very sturn manner, no avail. They hung up on her too! Then, they started to drag my car, yes drag, because they couldn't figure out how to set it to neutral after jamming (literally stabbing it into the gearbox reset compartment!) a screwdriver into the gear box. Unreal.... Oh and leaving the windows open in the pouring rain.... After seeing them try to drag my AWD, I stopped them and sent them away. Enough! New tow truck driver got my car onto his flatbed in less than 5 minutes, no issues.... Cause he actually knows what he's doing! A's Towing people are rude, unprofessional, no clue what they are doing, don't listen and have no concept of service. If I could, I'd give a negative star rating. read more

Using this towing services on a mega bad traffic day (680 freeway traffic was on the news) thanks AAA kept us communicated it still a super long wait, but it came with a great great services guy name Gulestan ( tow truck driver ) who drove 3 1/2 hours In that mega traffic to rescue us & another 3 1/2 hours got us to our destination. WHEN: Saturday @2pm After visiting with my sis in her backyard for brunch, we started our car that just wouldn't stay on. After trying to jump start, we had to go with our lat resort: have it towed. BEWARE: If no stars could be selected it sure would've been. Do not allow this company to tow your vehicle. If your insurance sends them request for someone else. I had an inexperienced tow representative come to my home to tow my vehicle. He did not know what he was doing and refused to do the tow. In the mist of all the chaos his flat bed tow truck damaged my vehicle and the company is trying to avoid any fault. In additional to a horrible experience the tow rep left my vehicle parked blocking my garage that cannot now close, shut off my vehicle without shifting the gear into Park, didn't say he was leaving and in a neighborhood with many children who are out playing for summer break he sped out my driveway and a vehicle beeped at him all while leaving with my car keys. This company demonstrated negligence. I spoke to a manager named "Joey" who was equally rude he stated he would pass on this message to upper management but when asked to be transferred he refused and said they were not there and that I needed to come through him. For what it is worth I am not sure if tow professionals are regulated and required to meet certain requirements this company is a workers comp issue waiting to happen. The tow rep came and attempted to do the job in flip flops, you would think steel toe shoes or some safety shoes would be required to avoid potential injury. The service and customer service was horrendous and legal action is stepping in to assist. read more
