5 different Cenotes in one area. Many options for what you can choose - self admission and access or guided tours that include lunch. As an English speaker, I'm not sure that the guided tour was worth it as the Spanish portion and explanations were long and the English versions were condensed (my bf understood both and said we got shortened versions). Most of what we got we already knew from googling. However, the all inclusive tour included food - which might be more worth it finances wise. The tour guide will walk and talk and show you each cenote, swim together in cenote 5 (you can't have access here as a self guide) for exactly 25 minutes. Then once the tour is done you're free to explore in your own. That lasts about 1.5 hours. We then had lunch - choice of pork chun, fish fillet or fish tacos. On the menu it ranges from 130 to 200 pesos a dish already. But included in tour, we got chips and salsa, fruit water (pineapple this time), our meal, and ice cream! The areas and activities you'll miss if you take a lesser package are worth the price of admission alone. I really loved these Cenotes. The facilities are clean and comfortable. This is almost a hidden gem because its not as popular as the other Cenotes around it, which is a good thing. I saw another posting criticizing these Cenotes for having artificial lighting. Well, bats live in caves and the lights keeps them away. So, unless you don't mind swimming with bats, then you shouldn't be criticizing their facilities. I would highly recommend this location, its fun and not crowded like the other Cenotes. read more

Truly a hidden gem. We visited on a Saturday around noon and were surprised it wasn't busy at all. We got the 5 cenotes pass for $500pesos each. After a quick shower to wash off any lotions, be sure to apply the all-natural repellent they have near the life jacket station. I was bit immediately upon arrival (I'm allergic to mosquitos but luckily the ones in this region seem very mild). The repellent they provided worked really well, I wasn't bitten again the rest of the day. We started off in Cenote 5 upon staff recommendation but each one had its own charms. We saw a lot of little fish swimming in them and even a blue lobster just chilling in a corner. Bring a water case for your phone and enjoy the beautiful wonder of this place. Beautiful cenotes without big tour buses! Also excellent restaurant for decent price! I came there for half a day from Playa del Carmen / you can use the collectivo that charges you 35 pesos one way/. I bought an entrance to 4 cenotes for about 500 pesos. The last two are the best ones. Stuff was extremely kind, park was well maintained and without crowds of people! You really need just half a day to visit. I decided to have lunch at their open air restaurant. Again, excellent service, nice people, very good food and I ended up paying $10 for a tortilla soup and a beer including tip. They also give you a cheese empanada as a courtesy. Food is styled as in some high end restaurant. Loved it. read more

A fun cenote experience with four cenotes, guided cave-tour of the "grottos", and on-site dining. 15 miles south of Playa del Carmen. We chose the self-guided, four cenote access option. The cave tour sounded pretty cool and got great feedback from other tourists, but it was the equivalent of $80 USD each and our group wasn't feeling it. A four cenote pass was about $30 USD/person. Which sounds reasonable for an excursion, except they they prominently display the local pricing chart next to the tourist pricing. Tourists pay twice as much. That left a bad taste. At least they are honest about ripping you off? Anyway...Cenote 3 was our favorite one. Largest cenote, mostly uncovered, and a nice open area to lounge around in. The other 3 cenotes were mostly covered and underground with very little surrounding area to sit down on. Cenote 4 is a bit of a trek, so they have a horse drawn cart for transportation. All in all, Kantun-Chi is a fun way to spend an afternoon, but with so many other cenotes nearby, I wouldn't necessarily go back to this one having experienced it already. We booked a spontaneous trip to Mexico without any activities planned; we just knew cenotes were the only must-do on our list. Our concierge told us these were the most beautiful cenotes on this side of the country & locals confirmed. We were greeted with nothing but respect, enthusiasm, and love from the moment we walked up the stairs. We paid $78 for the guided underground cave tour & access to all 5 cenotes with lunch afterwards. Valentine was our guide through the caves & private cenote and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. He's extremely knowledgeable about the history & formation of cenotes and was eager to answer any questions we had. A friend even dropped her googles and he dived to retrieve this without any expression of frustration or bother. He took photo & video for all of us on the tour and suggested photo opportunities for memories. After the cave & private cenote we are at the restaurant on site. The food was delicious and service was extremely friendly. They accidentally brought an extra alcoholic drink and waived the charge. We were exhausted after lunch & decided we were completely satisfied even without visiting all 5 cenotes. I highly recommend this tour if you're visiting from out of country and want to experience the beauty & hospitality of Mexico. Beware: the directions on Yelp are incorrect! Get the address from Google I confronted our taxi driver because I was nervous about him not following the directions and he advised me to check again. I did and he was right, thankfully! This place is absolutely amazing!! There are a total of 4 cenotes and they each have a wow factor. The fact you can kayak is such a plus Service was great and they'll also call you a cab to get back when you're done. My only issue is the goggles are too small to fit your glasses and they don't offer the "prescription" goggles like the other parks. read more

Wow... This place is a rip off. STAY AWAY and go to other Cenotes. I came here with a family of six and told them right from the beginning that my youngest son is autistic and may not want to do anything and if that was the case I, the father would stay with him in the reception area. But I said let's try. They proceed to charge me with hopes that my disabled son would attempt to at least get into their pools. My son didn't want to try that either. So I asked if they could refund me my ticket and to my shock THEY SAID NO REFUND EVEN IF I WAS JUST GOING TO SIT THERE WITH MY AUTISTIC SON AND DO NOTHING. Can you imagine and that's after I spend about $250 for the rest of my family. I explained to them that as a matter of principle if I was the business regardless of policy I would refund under this special circumstances. I explained to them that I will share my story on all the review sites and that they would lose more sale than refunding my one ticket. It's obvious that this place has no respect and understanding for families with kids with disabilities. We love Mexico and we love the Mexican people. If I was the owner of this business I would fire the manager of this place that was named Alex who made such a bad decision. Businesses that don't understand and are not respectful of families with disabled children should not be allowed to be open. read more

Unfortunately they charge $80 for the package of pictures in the underground cenote with all the cool stalactites/mites. One of the main things I wanted to see while visiting Riviera Maya was a Cenote and man did we hit the jackpot! I loved the reviews that I read and the fact that we could just enjoy ourselves at this spot and not have to rush around on some tour guides schedule. We originally planned to just visit the four main pools but upon our arrival we saw some photos of the underground cave and decided to go for it. We were very fortunate that we were the only people there wanting that tour at the time so we had our guide Oscar all to ourselves. He was so informative and fun to take the tour with. He allowed us to swim and look and really take our time to enjoy it. I was really curious how deep down the caverns went so he even let me borrow his waterproof flashlight to check it out. We had an underwater camera with us and he even offered to take a few cool shots for us so we didn't have just a bunch of selfies. The cave was absolutely beautiful! There were so many mature stalactites and stalagmites to admire. I am don't really like close spaces but the few times we were in them going from cave to cave I was so in awe I didn't even get uncomfortable. Once we were out the clouds unfortunately decided to give way and we were in the middle of a torrential downpour. I figured heck we will be in water anyway so lets go check it out. Cenote number 3 and 4 were my favorites each for their own special beauty. Number 3 was so beautiful, with the rain I could not really tell how clear the water was but I got in and swam over under the natural overhang and I was in heaven. I have always loved having fish tanks and I found myself in one big natural fish tank. There were beautiful cichlids, sailfin mollies, and buenos aires tetras swimming all around my feet. It was the coolest thing. After I was done being amused we headed on to cave number 4 which was absolutely beautiful. It was mostly covered so you were surrounded by a bunch of stalactites and stalagmites and crystal clear blue water. It was just unbelievable. There were some people in there when we first got there but once everyone left the water calmed to smooth as glass and all the little fish came out, it was amazing. I love the little black catfish. We were kinda bummed that we got rained out and I asked if I could return another day during our trip and they kindly offered for us to return free of charge so we did come back about two days later. I mostly wanted to see Cenote #3 and this time I came prepared with a snorkel. Which by the way they rent them there and I highly recommend getting it. I had a blast enjoying all the fish while the hubby circled around in a kayak taking the top view of the water. The cenotes were interesting to see; there were four with the fourth being the most impressive, in my opinion, as it was in a cave that was for the most park closed off (accessed by stairs that led down into it). Although we were told the water was safe to swim in, I was a little taken aback by the stagnation.... the waters were very clear, but in some areas, I saw particles floating on the surface, which led to my concern about what bacteria might be lurking. Don't get me wrong, the stagnation is by no fault of the park as the cenotes are natural water-filled sinkholes, but you're swimming at your own risk with the uncertainty. Otherwise, the park is very well maintained and laid out in a way that is easy to navigate. read more

This was the most amazing adventures of my life. It didn't involve a lot of walking maybe 1 mile total. But the vivid picturesque cenotes I was able to experience, will be one I won't ever forget. The pictures don't to it half the justice. Only complaint is the mosquitoes but you have to expect that in the jungle surrounded by pools of water. We paid about $30 per person which was the basic entrance but it was totally worth it. We were able to do this with our one year old. You are required to shower in your swimsuit before entering the cenotes. This is how they maintain them in pristine condition. There are lockers you can use for a price of about $5. But they return you the money upon completion of your adventure. Life jackets are provided and there are about 2-4 kayaks at each cenotes ready to use. If there was 10 tourist at the same cenote as us it was a lot. Most of the time we were alone. But again, within walking distance of the reception. Expect fish inside of each cenote. I wish I could have taken better pictures. My phone was in one of those plastic water proof protectors. But either way this was definitely one for the books. Highly recommend. We spent about 2 hours at cenote 3. read more

We visited 4 cenotes in 1 place that's a great deal it was about $470 pesos ea person and they also have tours that you can partake on which I'd like $1000 pesos ea and you will go to other 2 cenotes that enclosed and they look cool but you are not allowed to film on that tour. Kantun Chi was awesome, with great cenotes, restrooms, changing area, lockers, the whole place is very clean, and the service was great. They also have a restaurant, we didn't get a chance to eat there but the food looked good and with fresh corn tortillas. I will make sure to try it next time am there. By the entrance not far from the lockers they have free lotion so the mosquitoes don't get close to you, it's all natural, it also smelled really good and it did helped. read more

What a terrible experience. They stole my money. I booked through Expedia and Expedia gave me the wrong pick up time, an hour later than what the park had said. I called Expedia and the park multiple times to get a refund since they're playing games. They told me I could reschedule for an extra $15. I told them this wasn't my fault, because it wasn't. They just stole my money with no remorse. Do not come here, especially if you're American. They're very racist and think that you're dumb just because you're American. This place is so beautiful and unlike anything I've seen! There are lots of little inlets with hammocks and swings along with the cenotes. Be careful though, those Cenotes are cold!!! read more

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! This place seems to fly under the radar in terms of all the things to do but I'm so glad my bf did a little research on things to do and found his place. First off- it's owned by a Mayan family and it's nice being able to support an indigenous-owned business and not only their ruins. It has 4 cenotes to enjoy and the park is so well-kept, it feels like you're walking in a beautiful rainforest to each one. They offer life vests (required for the tour), water shoes, and snorkeling goggles as well! We got the underground personal tour with the best guide, Oskar, who not only was informative but so nice and patient as I went back up to reception to buy a water-proof case for my phone bc it was too gorgeous not to take photos. And after that, he became our personal photographer!! Taking photos for us at all the best spots! Check this place out, it feels personal and it was only like $50 each for what most places would charge $10+! Coolest thing I've done ALL YEAR!! My family visited these centotes the other day. Having been to Dos Ojos first, we weren't terribly impressed. The grounds are very lush & the welcome center is nice/impressive. There are tons of huge iguanas, which were cool to see. The cenotes themselves are just okay. The ones that are more open have very murky floors which freaked our kids out. Also, there was a bit of trash in one of the cenotes. We are snorkelers, and can swim very well...the mandatory life jackets were annoying to us;however, I do understand for liability reasons why they insist on them. We visited 2 of the more closed cenotes which have electric lights illuminating the water from above. That was a tad cheesy. We much prefer the more natural, larger, non-murky & less commercial Dos Ojos. It is much cheaper & awe inspiring to take in. read more

Visited this park for the day. They offer a couple different packages. Starts $30usd and up. We opted for the $30 package because we have a 3 year old. At first it look a little run down driving in towards the entry gates. When we got there it was pretty well taken care of. The grass was short and the gardens around looked really great. The have 4 cenotes. They are numbered 1 through 4. Number 4 was the furthest from the office and also the one I liked the most. Water was really clear and not to cold. They have all the gear you need available for rent onsite. We had our own so I'm not sure how much the deposit was. They also have lockers available to rent for 100 pesos. You get the money back at the end of the day when you return the key. There is a restaurant onsite with some tasty basic food. My 3 year old boy loved this place. He was wearing a life jacket and was paddling around by himself. ( I was next to him of course) All said and done I would most likely visit this place again. read more

I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I have been to Playa del Carmen a few times and love this place in general, but I'd have to say that the best Adventure/Ecopark I've been to so far is this one. It is not too big but really a natural place which I appreciate coming from LA. It is non-stop activity after activity. Be ready to have fun! There were 2 things I liked the most aside from resting by the beach in between activities: 1) Jet skis and snorkeling with sea turtles and stingrays & 2) exploring caves and xenotes. The staff was very friendly and funny, our tour guide was Mauro Bazzana, a fun, very intelligent and motivated Italian guy who knew so much about the place, the Mexican/Mayan culture in general and other cultures in Latin America. He was up to date with global news which I appreciate in anyone I interact with. The beach... is simply amazing! of course you get to experience the beautiful Mexican Caribbean anywhere you go in Quintana Roo but the beach at El Venado is called Paradise for a reason, so calm, not crowded and just gorgeous. this place is amazing. we paid 72 bucks each which included the 4 cenotes and underground river, the food, life jacket, tour guide. the food was delicious, ordered the fish. the tour guide was informative and really cool. we swam in two of the cenotes and went in the underground river which was awesome and scary at the same time. their wasn't a lot of people which I liked cuz it lets you enjoy the whole park to yourself. we got a short horse ride on a wheeled thingy from one destination to another. I recommend paying the 72 bucks which includes everything. we were at ecopark for 5 hrs and enjoyed everything. its pretty easy to find, we took the colectivo/combis and it dropped us off right in the front. from playa del Carmen it took about 30 min. to get there. took a towel, no sunscreen cuz the chemicals are not good for the water, extra pair of clothes, no selfie stick, gopro, water shoes, bathing suit. read more

Pretty awesome. I'll start with criticisms: made an 11am reservation when we ordered online to get the 10% off the $79 , our guide wasn't meeting us at the first Cenote until 11:40, so we didn't start the tour of the other cenotes until we were hungry for lunch, so we didn't spend much time at each Cenote , then we did the underground river, and ate lunch at 2 pm. The horse-drawn train stops running at 2:30, so we didn't ever really get to go to number 4, but we got the package that included number 5 which was pretty awesome but you can't go to it outside of the tour so make the most of the time you have there. After a delicious lunch it started raining like crazy which didn't stop me from enjoying the second and third cenotes for a while before they shut down at 5. You should probably get an earlier time to start if you want to make the most of each Cenote, pretty amazing, there are a few kayaks just left at a few of the cenotes that you can use and people are pretty good about sharing, we went on a Monday and almost had each Cenote to ourselves. When you are in the underground river make the most of the time that you have because you move on from each of the rooms after a little while so explore around anywhere they let you go but please please please do not break off any stalactites, what a shame that people do that. I just kept my helmet on and moved my mask over the helmet when we got out of the water, so I didn't waste time trying to get my helmet back from the guide in between activities. Think about bringing a tip for the waiter for the lunch that was included in our package so you might want to put a couple 20 peso bills in your swimwear. Also you are only able to use a snorkel and mask during the beginning portion of the tour, so make sure you use that as much as you can each one of the cenotes you do especially the first one and the fifth one, they don't let you take the snorkel in the underground river but they do let you take the mask. After the underground river they take the mask back even with the full package so that was kind of a bummer. And as soon as you finish the underground river they have a big tub of bug repellent you can wipe on, I would highly recommend using it as soon as you get out of the underground river, over the course of two days I got 310 mosquito bites most of them where the day we were there. This would be an amazing place to take your children if you are visiting Quintana Roo Mexico, because it's so affordable and allows both the guided tour experience and the free time experience your kids will absolutely love it! Skip the drama and trouble of driving around to a bunch of different cenotes where your kids will get tired of it and come to this one place where they get all the different kinds of experiences in one place for one good price. Now on to the positive aspects, I definitely loved everybody that worked there and their contributions, though our tour guide didn't speak great English he was friendly and much of the welcoming staff were just super friendly and nice and helpful. They even told us about the 10% off deal online. Buy a waterproof phone case before you come to Mexico because they are twice as much but I would not visit this place without one because you will definitely want to take pictures of your family and of the beautiful underwater formations and the neat little fish that nibble your toes tickling them. read more
