Paradise Beach review: 5 stars. LOVE IT! My daughter showed up on crutches, and they didn't even blink--immediately set us up near a set of stairs so she could roll into the pool like the queen she is. Talk about VIP service! Oscar and Ronny? Absolute legends. I don't know if they're employees or drink-delivering superheroes, but they kept the food and beverages flowing so seamlessly that I was ready to adopt them by the end of the trip. The inflatables in the water? An absolute hit. My pre-teen son was living his best life--part gladiator, part dolphin. I was half expecting him to demand we install a floating obstacle course at home. The beach? Chef's kiss. The pool? So much fun it practically parented my kids for me. 10/10 would crutch our way back here again!

Paradise Beach is so fun! I heard about Paradise Beach in Cozumel, Mexico by several people, and it didn't disappoint...mostly. I'll tell you why in a minute... The food and drinks were SO GOOD! Honestly, the service is the real winner though. Our crew, Veracruz, Daniel, and Carlos were so attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed all day. Trust me when I say, our drinks were never empty...lol! We stayed at the pool the entire day, and it was perfect. We rented a daybed that was located right at the pools edge. So on the super hot day that we were at Paradise Beach, we did not have to go far to cool off. Plus, they have floats in the pool that you can lounge on as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the beach. The beach, while flooded with lounge chairs, stinks. The seaweed right now stinks up the entire beach. I honestly don't know how there were so many people in the water...lol! Needless to say though, Paradise Beach is a great place and lots of fun.

Great time at this all inclusive day resort. If you are cruising to Cozumel please check them out. It is a very clean safe place. The service is great and Taxis are available to take you back to port. Taxis charge $18 each way for couples. Overall, it was a great day at the Paradise Beach Club. Food is great, Drinks are great and the services they provide are great. A good place to spend a vacation day. Jesus and Billy did a great job with the services.

Went to Cozumel from Playa del Carmen with my husband via Ultramar ferry. It was a 35 minute ride to Cozumel. We booked the tickets for paradise beach day pass from trip advisor it was $144 USD for two people. The pass starts from 8 am and lasts till 6 pm. It's totally worth it! Cozumel is so beautiful and the beach was amazing there's pool inside as well and showers and restrooms. The all-inclusive day pass has drinks and food included as well. We ordered margaritas, shrimp ceviche, chips and salsa, mahi mahi tacos, chicken quesadillas, beef burrito, and spicy shrimp tacos. The food was average however the service was good. The mahi mahi tacos were really good! There are two cute parrots around there too! The whole place is super cute and colorful loved the vibe and there's fun passes for families with kids where they have fun floaters in the ocean. The water is crystal clear and stunning green and lush blue! There's massage spa too but not included in the day pass that we got, there's also pharmacy and a cute shop inside. We came here via taxi and there are several taxis to take you back to the ferry too! Amazing experience

We had a large party ages 11-60. We all had an amazing time. The servers were amazing, especially our servers Dari and Arni. They gave us a 10 out 10 service. I couldn't have been happier. Great food, beautiful water, and fun for all to be had. Definitely recommend

I highly recommend coming to this location. The service was phenomenal and the staff is very attentive to your needs and will go above and beyond to ensure you're having a great time. Julio was our server and he was hilarious, I highly recommend him. The beach is very clean and there are numerous places to take awesome pictures. We will definitely be coming back. Well worth the money.

Found this place last year while riding mopeds around the island so we decided to hit it up again this trip. We were direct to the more popular Mr. Sancho's but it had a line of taxis a mile long waiting to pick people up. Must have been a few cruise ships at port. We kept driving and found this place just down the road and not nearly as busy. The place is great. It has a huge pool, nice bathrooms, shower facilities and changing rooms. They charge $3 per person to use the place(minus the water climbing inflatable, which is extra) and they only ask that you spend like $15 each on top of that. Not a bad deal to have a beautiful beach, nice pool, showers, lawn chairs, and a place to order food and drinks. We did not try and food just drinks. They are a little on the expensive side which is understanding since they only charge you $3 to get in. There are plenty of waiters that are walking around to make sure you have everything you need. You can also go to one of the bars and order for yourself if you would like. Also I noticed this year that they had a food truck set up at the beach selling tacos and suck. The place is huge and you never feel crowded. There are plenty of chairs at the beach and by the pool. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area looking for a place to relax for a bit.

We visited Mr. Sancho's Beach Club in Cozumel during a cruise stop and had a fantastic experience…read more The beach club is about a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the cruise port where the ships dock. When we got off the ship there was a line of taxis ready to go and the ride cost $20 for two people one way. When we arrived, the staff greeted us and guided us to the front desk where we checked in for our reservation. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time because it definitely helps expedite your entrance. One thing worth noting is that when we booked online it didn't show cabanas available, but when we arrived the host checked and was able to get us into one. I highly recommend getting a cabana if one is available because it gives you a nice private area to relax. That said, there are also plenty of tables with covered umbrellas that provide shade from the sun. What really stood out about this place was the level of service. It was incredibly attentive. I honestly don't think we ever waited more than a few minutes before someone came by asking if we needed another drink or more food. Our servers were Juan and Pops/Eric and both of them were fantastic. It felt like every time I turned my head one of them was checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. They offer all-inclusive food and you can either go up to the buffet or order directly from the menu and have it delivered to your table or cabana. The property also has multiple pools, massage services, swim-up areas, and gift shops around the resort. At one point what appeared to be a manager came by and asked how we heard about the place and checked in on how our experience was going. That really reinforced how focused they are on service. The location is right on the beach so you get beautiful ocean views while enjoying unlimited food and drinks throughout the day. Overall Mr. Sancho's delivers a great beach day experience with excellent service and it's definitely a place I would visit again when returning to Cozumel.

Food was mediocre. Felt super Americanized and that was a let down. I get its buffet style and you're serving tons of people, but I was wanting authentic Mexican food and it didn't feel like that's what I was getting. Ambiance was amazing. Beach has a rock floor bed so it wasn't the most comfortable, but it's the beach. Water was very clear and the beach and establishment was insanely clean. I'm giving a 4 star only because we had an all inclusive drink package, and I couldn't get a Red Bull. They said I could have a Red Bull and vodka but not a Red Bull. They said they only served alcohol.......i told them I didn't want to drink and he said no and laughed. I later went back and folded. Asked for a red bull and vodka. He then told me they don't have energy drinks. I then told him "fine. Just a water please." As I'm walking. Away I take a swig of water......ITS WATER AND VODKA!!!! . I 100% recommend this place. I had an excellent time.

I am writing this review because I believe Paradise Beach needs to seriously address a safety issue…read moreand the way my concerns were handled by management. I have been to Paradise Beach before and understand how the all-inclusive package works, including the alcohol service. My concern is not that alcohol is available -- my concern is what happens when guests are drinking to the point that their safety may be compromised. My 25-year-old daughter is currently visiting Paradise Beach with her boyfriend and a female friend. Based on videos posted online, they were taking shots and participating in the "rainbow" drink challenge over approximately five hours. In the videos, they appeared severely intoxicated. They were impaired to the point that I was genuinely concerned they may not have been able to make safe decisions for themselves, especially while in another country and participating in activities such as water excursions. A person who is extremely intoxicated around water or in an unfamiliar environment can be at serious risk of injury or even death. This is not a minor concern. What concerns me even more is how my safety concern was handled by the manager, Manuel. I called the beach club because I was frightened for my daughter's safety and wanted someone on-site to be aware of the situation. Instead of listening, showing concern, or acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, Manuel was rude, dismissive, and told me that I am her mother and she is my responsibility and can drink as much as she wants. That response was extremely disappointing. I understand that adults are responsible for their own choices, but an establishment that promotes unlimited alcohol also has a responsibility to recognize when a guest may be dangerously impaired and vulnerable. A manager's response to a legitimate safety concern should be compassion, professionalism, and a willingness to help -- not dismissal. At the time of writing this, I do not even know whether my daughter made it safely back to the cruise ship, and I am left worried about her well-being. Paradise Beach needs to review both its alcohol service practices and the behavior and training of its management staff. The issue here is not simply that someone drank too much -- the issue is that a safety concern was raised and was not taken seriously by the person responsible for managing the facility.

Came here to access the beach. Kinda figure out if you cannot beat the system then go along with it. The food and service is alright at this place. There are some waves and current at the beach, kinda have to put some effort to swim and to snorkle in here. I would say this isnt the best place to enjoy the beach. Their tone came across as aggressive and somewhat rude, which was surprising, but we assured them it wasn't an issue since we planned to order food and drinks anyway. Still, their approach left a sour first impression. This used to be our favorite spot 12 years ago when it was open to the public and free to enter. Back then, ordering food and drinks was optional, but the place has since changed under the ownership of Landmark Corp. Public access is no longer allowed without meeting their requirements or paying a fee. There are a few important things to note: sunscreen is not allowed, and there is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming and snorkeling are entirely at your own risk. The menu now caters primarily to tourists, featuring westernized dishes with a touch of Mexican cuisine. Prices are similar to what you'd find in the U.S., which is expected for a tourist destination. Cruise ships frequently drop off passengers here, so lounge chairs tend to fill up quickly until they leave. Additionally, paying by credit card incurs a transaction fee, so using pesos is the better option. If I hadn't come with my kids--and if visiting the Money Bar wasn't the main reason for our trip to Cozumel--I might have walked away. This place holds so many special memories from when we were single and used to travel to Mexico often, but the changes have made it feel far less welcoming than it once was.

There are many ways to get there -- by ferry, by private boat/catamaran, or car. On Thursday, my husband and I rented a jeep and drove to the fishing pier at Laguna Ciega. Note: You will need a jeep to get to Laguna Ciega. I would not recommend walking. Once you leave downtown and start driving for a while, you will end up in front of a dirt road, where the road becomes bumpy and requires off-road driving. A regular car will not be able to handle the dips, which are pretty major. Depending on the weather there could also be muddy water. The dirt road is wide enough for one car, so be mindful of cars that could come from the opposite direction. Despite the off-road driving, we still arrived within 30 minutes. Cozumel is not a large island. We parked our rental car and got on a boat with a local who offered to take us across to la Isla de Pasion for 100 pesos per person each way. We agreed that we would pay him half of total when he gets us to la Isla de Pasion, and then the other half when he takes us back to Laguna Ciega. The boat ride was quick and took about 5-10 minutes. Isla de Pasion was incredible. The water was clear and the waves were super gentle. There is a beach club on site; however, my husband and I settled down in our own little section of the beach. We stayed for about 3 hours, swimming, and having a picnic with food and beers that we brought. As we were leaving around 1:30pm, we noticed there were a lot more people on Isla de Pasion. Definitely get to the island EARLY so you can enjoy it when it is less crowded.
