We payed $280pesos p/person, we thought it was gonna be WAY more different, we saw pictures where it looked LIGHT BLUE, and this was not it... Maybe it was the season, the rain, or something else, but it's just too boring & not anything amazing... We have gone to 5 different cenotes in the last 3 days, and this one was the most expensive and NOT PRETTY.

Abundance of fish. Great laguna. You will pay more here then a cenote but it's worth visiting at least once.

My boyfriend and I stumbled…read moreupon Akumal Adventours as we were driving towards the monkey sanctuary and decided to stop in. Great price for a private tour! The tour was about 3-4 hours. Our guide was Alex, and he was absolutely wonderful! He drove us to the ranch where we spent time seeing all of the animals. He explained what the animals were, how they got to the wildlife sanctuary, and if they would be able to be released or not. It was an amazing and hands on experience. After the wildlife sanctuary, Alex drove us to a private cenote. We changed and jumped right into the water. We had the whole place to ourselves! He explained the history of the cenote and gave us so much cool information. We even got a little spa experience as we rubbed the calcium sediments on our skin. We were able to take pictures the whole time. The pictures that I've posted don't do the tour justice. Truly amazing experience and I highly recommend it to anyone!! Thanks Alex!

What an amazing trip with Limbert and Luis. My wife is not…read morea confident snorkeller but with help from Luis and Limbert she went out into quite a rough sea to see the turtles and then snorkelled over some deep water in the cenote/caves. We both thoroughly enjoyed the half day trip and would recommend it to anyone. Limbert was a very knowledgeable guide and told us a lot about the history of Mexico on the drive down. Both were quite close to Playa Del Carmen/ Playacar so the longest drive was around thirty minutes. I got some great photos and at the end of the trip we were sent a Google Drive of the photos that Limbert had taken.

An Unforgettable Tour Thanks to Rod and Limbert! I was lucky to experience a truly unique custom tour organized by Rod, the owner, and Limbert, our tour guide. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable--warm, personalized, and incredibly thoughtful. Limbert wasn't just a guide; he felt like a true friend welcoming us into his home. His knowledge of Mayan culture is outstanding, and visiting the ruins with him felt like traveling back in time--an educational and fascinating experience we wouldn't have had with anyone else. Swimming with the turtles was also absolutely out of this world. Limbert made sure everything was safe, smooth, and above all, magical. He also took us to amazing restaurants with authentic Mexican cuisine, far from the tourist traps and full of local flavor. Thanks to Rod and Limbert, my vacation was more than excellent--it was truly memorable. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the Yucatán Peninsula with depth, authenticity, and a personal touch you'll never forget.

We were picked up on time in a nice big clean car. Daniel was very friendly and was giving us history and information about the area during our ride. We parked and got on a tram to the main entrance. We entered the ruins with no issues as Daniel had all our tickets already. We were able to walk all the grounds and Daniel gave us all the amazing history and was able to answer all our questions- even the ones about the wildlife. When we retuned to the car he had a cooler with cold towels and a big variety of cold drinks for us. The excursion included lunch at a place of our choice and we asked for Daniel's suggestion as we wanted something local and not a tourist spot. He took us for some street tacos that were amazing! He was also kind enough to stop at a store so we could grab a few souvenirs and a mango stand for some fresh mango. Daniel was amazing and we will definitely use Living Dreams again and will be asking for Daniel!

What an amazing day. As other reviewers have expressed on AirBnB, where I found this experience,…read morethe tour was quite magical. Guilhem was prepared, professional, personable, and passionate (the adjectives starting with P were spontaneous). With the tour only being my girlfriend and I, the experience was even richer through our one-on-one interactions with Guilhem. He toured us into a gorgeous Cenote and a very small portion of a vast underground cave system that the Cenote is an entrance to. With no one else around, it truly felt like we left one world for another. Th experience on the senses was supplemented by Guilhem's description of everything around us and the history of how the Mayans used the Cenotes and caves. He was able to tie thousands of years of history to present day beautifully. Additionally, he knew how to capture the memories through great photography and he worked hard to make sure the overall experience exceeded our expectations. One of my favorite parts of our time with Guilhem was the bonus of having a traditional Mexican meal freshly prepared immediately after we came out of the Cenote. This way we not only experienced the rich underground world but the jungle as well while enjoying the food. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Playa Del Carmen.
