Our school chartered for high school playoff football game. Bus battery died. Boys had to try and sleep in the locker room after their football game ended. Did not get back to Clackamas until 11:20 AM over (12 hours after the game was over) due to having to wait for a new bus to drive to Medford and get new bus drivers as they timed out. Staff was very helpful on helping us schedule our multiple transportation needs. Drivers were extremely courteous and always on time. We needed different types of buses each day and were never disappointed. They even went and checked the location to make sure that the bus we were requesting could make it on the terrain. As a wedding planner, I've worked with a variety of transportation companies. Normally, I don't review them because they all do a solid job but ecoShuttle really wowed me at a wedding we did together in May 2022. Jesse, Ken, Gloria, Traci, and really the whole team went above and beyond before and on the wedding day. I found the team responsive, kind, and communicative as we worked together to shuttle guests to and from a wedding venue 45 minutes outside of Portland. We had almost the exact same experience as someone shared in a previous review. The ecoshuttle team seemed really promising at first - friendly, responsive and accommodating over email during the planning for our wedding day transportation. Then on the day of the wedding about 50 of our out of town guests on the shuttle were dropped off at the wrong location in another part of town. Our guests had to step in and redirect the driver to the right venue using google maps on their phones. We learned about this 15 minutes before our ceremony was supposed to start and this was only due to text messages from our guests who were concerned they'd miss the ceremony. Neither us or our wedding planner received any communication from ecoshuttle while this was happening or even after the event. Our wedding was delayed 30+ minutes and guests were on the shuttle for an hour total for what should have been a 15-30 minute drive max. When I reached out over email a week later looking for an explanation, Ecoshuttle tried to downplay their mistake. They suggested traffic that day was the bigger problem and their mishap only slightly contributed to the delay, but the math simply doesn't check out. We had budgeted for rush hour traffic in our schedule, not our guests accidentally being taken to an address 20 minutes away from the venue. Our local guests coming from the same direction all managed to make it on time. The best they could offer us in the end was a half baked apology over email and a $75 refund. Their prices are good compared to other shuttle services in Portland but for us it came at a cost that wasn't worth it. We won't be using or recommending this service to others again. read more

We used EcoShuttle for our wedding guests to get from downtown Portland to our venue and back so no one had to worry about drinking and driving. Everyone said it was very easy to use, the driver was parked exactly where they said they were going to be and it got them from point A to point B. The only complaint I heard from most passengers was that the driver told everyone the air conditioner wasn't working and it was super hot and hard to breathe on the way there (it was about 80 outside). On the way back the air actually worked fine so we aren't sure why the driver said it didn't. I would recommend this company since they made the transportation so easy, however I'd hope in the future guests don't have to go on a 50min ride without AC. read more

He coordinated and accepted any of our requests for schedule adjustments, sent a schedule to the two drivers, confirmed which bus was ADA accessible, and made sure to follow up to any commentary we sent after our event. EcoShuttle was very easy to work with leading up to the wedding. They were good about responding to emails & phone calls and have a nice fleet of shuttles! On the wedding day however, one of our shuttle drivers went to the wrong address (NE 28th instead of SE 28th) with my entire out-of-town extended family on-board. The dispatch number I called could not get a hold of the driver & was pretty apathetic about the whole situation. Luckily some of our guests took charge, googled the venue, & directed the driver (who spoke very little english). We ended up having to delay the start of the wedding ceremony more than 30 minutes while we waited on guests to arrive (after they had spent over an hour on what should have been about a 10 minute shuttle ride!) All that being said, I'm still not sure you can find a much better option in the Portland area! Just be sure to triple-check that they have the correct addresses & make sure someone (day-of-coordinator?) is checking in with the drivers throughout the day! read more

Pros: Ecoshuttle was definitely very reasonably priced and Mark was super helpful and professional throughout the quote, booking, and process that ended up ensuing after our wedding. He was polite and apologetic with the snafus we experienced. We ended up having our wedding on one of the hottest days in Portland, and Mark upgraded us to a bus with air conditioning without up-charging us! Cons: We had a handful of issues with our driver, including courteousness to our guests riding the bus, willingness to make a pre-arranged stop to pick up about many guests from a hotel, and communication skills with our wedding coordinator. Luckily, we did have a wedding coordinator, or my now husband and I would have had a majorly stressful time with transportation. Disclaimer: since we did have a coordinator and were not on the bus for the trip to the reception, our feedback is mostly what we have heard from multiple guests and our coordinator after the wedding. I had mentioned above that Mark was willing to upgrade us with no charge. However, the bus that showed up at the pick-up location was not this promised bus with AC, it was the original school bus. The driver tried blaming it on mechanical issues with the school bus, so our guests had to wait for another (the correct) bus to show up - taking an additional 30-45 minutes than our original scheduled pick-up time. We had requested 1 stop along the way to pick up additional guests (a significant percentage of guests were riding the bus). The driver nearly refused to make this stop, and only did so after our guests were on the verge of trying to contact us personally. Many of our guests complained (after the fact thank goodness) that he was very rude to them and our guests said they suspected that he turned off the AC when our guests weren't being quiet (who is quiet on a wedding party bus?!). Due to all of these issues, all of our guests (which was everyone with the exception of our immediate families) were 45-60 minutes late, causing some significant issues with our timing of events of the evening. The driver was polite but curt on our ride at the end of the night (likely because my husband and I were on the bus). We had given the driver a pre-arranged generous tip through our coordinator, which was more than deserving. Last issue was that we had one of our guests bring on a personal cooler for beer for the ride to the wedding. The following week we tried to get our cooler back. Driver said he never saw it, we checked with friends who confirmed that it was definitely on the bus on the ride back. Miraculously, he remembered that it was on the bus(?), but it ended up getting taken on multiple other bus trips, and took nearly 2-3 weeks to get this cooler back. The polite thing to do would have been to deliver said cooler to maybe near where we lived? Nope, I had to drive out to Sherwood to get my cooler back. Not cool guys. Overall, we were underwhelmed with the service of Ecoshuttle. We are so happy that we had a wedding coordinator, or these issues would have likely put a major damper on our wedding. read more

Top notch customer service. I had left my phone on the bus and they welcomed me to the yard on their day off. Our Driver Mike Pearce had found the phone and set aside so that the mechanic on site (didn't catch his name, but was also very friendly and more than willing to help us out) could easily find it. Eco Shuttle. What can I say they were great. We used them for my daughters wedding to shuttle guests from the hotel to the church and back and then again later in the evening to reception and back. The driver was there early, very courteous, and accommodating with the times. We had several senior citizens in our group and they even made an extra trip from the reception to the hotel earlier in the evening just for them. The Shuttle was very clean and comfortable. The day was very hot and it was really nice to step into the air conditioned shuttle. Best part is they were very affordable. read more

When we wanted to extend the dancing another 30 minutes during the reception, the driver was cool with that, which was awesome.
