This is a nice little winery, but you can see and hear the highway. The wine is decent but they seem a bit too proud considering cost.

Absolutely amazing! Lori, our server, was spot-on with her wine and food recommendations. We…read morepurchased a bottle she mentioned was on sale by the case--and yes, we ended up buying the whole case! The hamburger sliders and chicken salad were delicious, and all of their house-made salad dressings were fantastic (the blue cheese was especially amazing). I also loved that they source locally. With excellent service, great wine, and delicious food, we can't wait to come back!

so I don't even know where to start with this place me and my wife had a weeklong staycation here…read moreand just went to a lot of local places here in Oregon. This was one that was recommended to us, but was a huge disappointment to start off. We had called ahead where they told us. There was no such thing as reservation and the patio was on a first come first serve basis, although the very first question when we walked in was, do you have reservations the patio was full and we were given a table inside while we waited to see if something opened up no more than three minutes behind us some lady walks in ask if they can get a table because their new wine members and they want to get their free flight. They told the ladies that they were full and that they could sit inside. She asked if they could walk outside and look around at least and show her friend around she said that's no problem. They did that when they came back in they had mentioned it looked like somebody was getting ready to leave and wanted to know if they would be able to get that seat outside. I thought great we're going to get passed up for this. And then the hostess came over and told us that there was an opening outside. I thought oh great we didn't get passed up so they escorted us outside and tell us that it's just the gazebo seating that's available right now and then they gave the lady that came in three minutes behind us the table. Say we went there to eat dinner. We went to have a good time and we got sat on some old crappy broken down patio furniture and then we got ignored by our waitress and several other waitresses never brought us our water and finally brought us our drinks from inside which they told us they were going to bring immediately and it took about 30 minutes to get them. I should've just got up, walked inside and grabbed them off the table myself and then after being ignored, we finished our watered down shitty wine and had to walk up to the bar because we were being ignored to pay the bill and had every waitress eyeball us and freak out like we were going to walk out without paying I have never in all of my life been treated so rudely I was told good things about this place, but I will never be back. This was some of the most disrespectful rudest service I've ever seen in my life. I am a professional chef and I have worked in the restaurant and catering industry for over 30years. This place absolutely put a foul taste in my mouth like never before basically if you're not a regular or senior citizen don't expect to get any kind of customer service. I felt that we were highly discriminated against because of our age. We are in our late 40s although the large portion of the crowd was all gray haired and in their late 60s to 80s I felt that because we were younger. We got the shitty seats and got passed up by the older people so that they could sit at the table. I was disrespected. I was treated rudely and it was completely unacceptable.

We visited during a Wine Share month, a great way to discover new wineries without any risk. The Garden Cottage tasting room on the lower level of the property was not open in February so we enjoyed our tasting in the home. literally. We sat in the living room on couches around a coffee table while the adjacent dining room was being utilized by a party of 8. it was a great vibe, warm and inviting. Our host explained they use regenerative farming and winemaking processes. Their wines are aged in clay amphora casks, something we had never heard of, which imparts unique, earthy characteristics. Since the clay allows for a slow oxidation, the wine has softer flavors without the oak derived butter, vanilla and spice flavors. It's a middle ground between the oxidation of oak bottles and the more sterile stainless steal. We enjoyed the education and the wines! Would love to come back in the spring or summer for the full Garden Cottage experience. Since this is a small, family owned winery, tastings are by appointment only. Their website has the link.
