UPDATE: Still love Ecoview! Absolutely worth the price and so glad I didn't overpay somewhere else. The window that arrived to them damaged was replaced and I haven't had any leaks or issues. Very responsive if I call. My electric bill is $85 for a 2500ft home now. My experience with Ecoview has been wonderful! Our installers were SPECTACULAR. So professional. Bagged every window to minimize construction dust in my home. Vacuumed. They installed thoroughly using the correct long screws and spray foam around every window, then trim and caulk. Didn't damage any of my stucco or drywall. My windows all work great and sit squarely. No complaints at ALL about the installation or quality. Ecoview was my lowest quote for my impact windows but had the best warranty which is why I went with them. At first, the price made me nervous but now I'm so glad I didn't waste extra money with another company. The only feedback I have is that the original estimator (owners son I believe) was young and made some unprofessional comments while he was at my house. He commented about my mattress being on the floor in my room (none of his business but I was clearly moving in- I had boxes everywhere!). I also had to call to check on the status of my windows and called again to schedule. No issues there but be sure to check on things yourself if you want them done quickly! Carlos, the owner, has been spectacular. He came out to my house and met with me before I ordered. He was so thorough, knowledgeable, not sales-y. Really had a wonderful experience working with them. Still waiting on my inspections because one window was delivered to Ecoview damaged and has to be replaced- totally understandable! We had a lot of windows replaced by Ecoview and so much of the exterior stucco was hacked/chipped off, and I'm not talking about areas seamed up with the windows. I'm talking about the window bays. They also shattered one front window as they installed it, requiring taping up the area and waiting weeks for a new one to be ordered and received. This bumped out our inspection, allowing the sun to bake on all of those stickers that are kept on until inspection. Our mistake was to patch and paint prior to window install. But we didn't think they would damage so many areas and not repair them. read more

Poor communication and Administration I am giving 2 stars instead of one only because I believe they might have a decent product with a good installation team. Unfortunately, I never got that far - one star for administration and communication. I called Ecoview to schedule an estimate. Amanda (in the office) gave me a time and said Randall would come to see me. Randal showed up at the appropriate time, he was friendly, professional and answered all of my questions. He left me with an estimate. After a few weeks of gathering additional estimates, I decided to go ahead with Ecoview. This is where it all went south. I called Amanda to schedule Randal to come back out so we could sign papers, provide a down payment, etc. She asked me if a 7AM appointment was ok. I even questioned her about the time. She said yes it was fine. So I scheduled for 7AM. I asked about methods of payment, she said they would accept a check, Credit card for an additional fee and a discount for cash. When I asked about the cash discount, she said she was not sure, Randal would discuss that with me. On the appointed da, 7:30AM, no Randal. I called him, apparently woke him up, and said he was not aware of my appointment. He never makes appointments before 9. He said he would look into it. Randal arrived at my home at 10AM. We started filling out paperwork. When we got to payment types I asked about the cash discount (I had cash in hand). He said he had never heard of such a thing and he would have to check with the owner (Carlos). This was 2 pretty big mess ups in a single visit. I was beginning to get a bit nervous. At that point, I asked him to leave and have Carlos call me. He said he would. I waited a week, Carlos never called. Still wanting to move ahead, I called the office (Amanda) again and asked for Carlos to call me. This time he did. We spoke and I thought all was good. I rescheduled with Amanda Randal to come at 3PM on Thursday. Once again - Randal is a no show. I called Randal and once again he said he was not aware of the appointment. I asked him to have both Amanda and Carlos to call me. So far, a week later neither has called. I cannot believe they are this bad when I have no financial commitment to the company. I cannot imagine what it would be like dealing with them when money is involved. I'll be moving on to another company. read more

Ecoview installed 7 windows in my 1985 home and did a good job - they were leaving without replacing 3 window blinds they removed - I gave them $20 to put them up and they left - after putting up brackets, telling me to wait until the sealant dried- it is EASY - I checked it and it was dry and I could not get the blinds up - after 2 hours of trying - I am needless to say - unhappy. several areas need to be repainted and repaired, the kitchen need to be completely repainted due to a big deep area missing joint compound and paint - I do not have touch - up paint - the whole room need to be painted and they did not put down a drop cloth in any rooms and got white caulk? all over my custom painted porch floor - I tried to scrub it - it will need to be repainted. crummy crummy crummy - windows are ok but I would NEVER recommend read more

Called this company 2 weeks ago and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Took off work. They called 40 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to say they couldn't do the job. I lost time from work and my home owners insurance was increased because I couldn't get the job done in time. It's ok if they couldn't handle the job. Our experience with Ecoview couldn't have been better. Initially, the manager Carlos came out to show us the Ecoview products, did a demonstration, and provided an estimate on the spot. While the hurricane windows are essentially the same as other window providers (except for clips), the pricing for Ecoview windows is literally thousands below other competitors. I'm not kidding. We hired them. The workers were fantastic in making sure the windows were perfectly installed. I highly recommend them. read more

So far we have had an amazing learning experience with our new window project consisting of 17 windows with Carlos the owner. He came out and gave us an estimate and then we waited, made a trip to the showroom for my husband to view and today he came and measured and we signed the contract which was lower than are original estimate!! Mike's Review of Eco-View Door and Windows. Nov.21 2020 I would not recommend if you need them with the outside frames to have a matching outside trim color! On December 16, 2019 I ordered two slider windows and a left slider patio door set, from my condo. When I told the sale person of my concern about the items being made of White Vinyl and that Vinyl does not hold being paint very well, and I need the Items in a Bronze color to match the trim work of the condos! The sale person told me that they do what is called a color burn-in on the outside of the doors and windows for the Bronze color match! He claimed that it is guaranteed to last at least 15 years! My order was delivered and installed on March 19, 2020 and installed within 4 hours. Within the first week and a half of the installation, I had to stop using the sliding screen door due to the fact that it was rubbing the bronze coloring off in areas along the outside main door frame also from the inside of the screen door! This has left those areas with the white vinyl showing though along the door frame! And a three inch wide scraping on the inside of the screen door. Several months later on a rainy day, I noticed there was rain water inside lower slide trays of the windows! I called the company and told them I had leaks in my windows, they sent someone to inspect it! I was told that is how the windows are designed, that is where the rain water drains out of the windows, not what I expected! At that time I showed them the problem I had with the screen door and the white of the vinyl showing though the bronze color, in areas of the main door frame outside! They told me that is the design structure of the screen door, I told them it is a poor design and have not heard anything since! In hindsight I would have waited and saved more money and got an upgrade of the Aluminum Bronzed Anodized windows and doors, like the old set that had been in my condo since 1976, and though there color had faded it held up for over 40 years! However If you need your windows and door in the all "White Vinyl" color, then no problem! But I can't see the bronze color on this patio door holding up for 15 years as they claim it will. Not when just using the screen door is rubbing it off! read more
