To make matters worse, after only 3 days (with no excessive or rough activity), my thumb and ring finger chipped. I went back for a repair, but then after the repair, the middle finger and pinky chipped, and shortly after that, the rest of the nails chipped as well. Place is extremely clean and sanitary and I noticed people were trickling in and out while I was there. Most of the employees seem to speak enough English to communicate effectively (and of course some Spanish-speaking employees as well). My pedicure was done by Mia and I was so happy at the end, I tipped her $20 ontop of the price. They are extremely friendly, don't rush at all, and even a free shoulder rub while my toes were drying. They offer a stamp card for frequent visits so be sure to ask for one! Will definitely be back to check out their manicures.

Instead of addressing it or apologizing, I was told the cut happened because my skin is "extremely dry," which honestly felt very dismissive and a bit like I was being gaslit. I chose to continue with the service, but the gel application was very sloppy. The gel flooded over several nails and onto the skin around them. Within a short time my nails started chipping, there are visible bumps, and the overall result looks messy and poorly done. After work I went back to speak with them. I wasn't even asking for a refund -- I simply wanted someone else to redo the nails because the work was not done properly. Since I couldn't stay at that moment, I asked if I could make an appointment for the next day. They refused to schedule an appointment and just told me to "come in," which isn't realistic when you work and can't sit around a salon waiting to see if someone is available. The whole situation felt embarrassing, especially because it was discussed in front of other customers. Instead of taking responsibility for the cut, the technician continued insisting it happened because my skin was dry. Being cut during a nail service is not only painful but also unsanitary. With so many nail salons on Myrtle Avenue, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. Based on my experience, I would not return and would not recommend this salon.
