    Home made Salsa. Very good!!!!!!

We originally came just for the Honey because our original Honey source was no longer available. I always passed this place so I decided to give them a try since there local and had good reviews. Place is easy to find. Big white farm house with a few red barns on the side. They have indoor and outdoor firewood and their actual store is in a small closed in porch. When you walk in everything is there. It only fits about 2 people. They have a fridge filled with eggs and on the side they have bottles of Honey and Salsa. Signed are posted with prices. We ended up leaving with Honey, Sauce and Eggs. We immediately tried the sauce when we got home. Very fresh with a kick of spiciness. Good flavor too. I normally like my sauce thick and chunky. This is more watery but overall very good. Will definitely buy again. The self serve option was very nice. I now have a new Eggs Salsa and Honey source. We will definitely be visiting this place from now on.

We love Ed & Judie's. It's a great place to take the kids. They can experience a real farm with lots of chickens roaming around. Two friendly dogs are on the premises; one is quite large, but very friendly. We love the eggs! The eggs are self-serve. Just open the side door to the house and pick out eggs from the refrigerator. It's great! What a treasure for those in Aurora, Sugar Grove, etc. P.S. The eggs are quite affordable for being farm fresh and free range. A dozen eggs starts at $2.50.

Nice friendly honor system business. We purchased local honey and really appreciated the personable experience from the owners.

It was very hot outside so my visit was not as long as I would have liked but very good experience and one of the best if not the best farmer's market I've been to. You can stop by any time from June to October on Saturdays I believe- weather dependent. The market is on the smaller side so you can get through it quickly. There is still a pretty big selection here of local goodies. From donuts to coffee to homemade jewelry and all in between. We ended up grabbing a few bags of coffee from Gigawatt coffee roasters. We got the Ethiopian medium roast and the Costa Rican light roast. The Ethiopian had honey, strawberry and shortbread notes. The Costa Rican one had orange, peach, and brown sugar notes. My favorite had to be the Costa Rican one but I like my coffee roasts light so it has an unfair advantage ;) Both coffees had a super smooth taste. I wish I could bottle up the smell of the freshness!! Grinding and brewing these beans filled up our kitchen so nicely. They also put the roast date on the package which is a huge bonus for us coffee snobs. All in all, we enjoyed our time here at the market. Everyone was very friendly and like I mentioned, the market is easily walkable.

This brand new Farmer's Market is a replacement for the old one that used to be at the Village Hall…read more(see https://www.yelp.com/biz/orland-park-farmers-market-orland-park?osq=farmers+market). This new Market has longer hours and a more expansive location to make it easier for people to attend. It is now located at the 143rd METRA Station in Orland Park...roughly one block west of LaGrange Road at 142nd Street. The Market is held on Thursdays only...from May 25 to August 31. Hours are from 4pm to 8pm. If you happened to be a METRA rider, you will find the Market as soon as you jump off the train at night. Besides adding some live entertainment at this location, the number of vendors is expected to grow substantially as customers find the site. Right now there are about two dozen vendors. The vendors are much like those that were visiting the old Farmer's Market, but this location will eventually attract many additional vendors. Food and food trucks, notions, candles, honey, fresh fruit and vegetables, and many Orland Park businesses are here. For example, the University of Chicago medical people are represented ... even more so because they have a new four story facility just a couple hundred feet away. This new Market is worth trying...it is just one more example of the Village trying to upgrade its offerings to the public. Recommended.

The close Aurora Transportation Lot is $10 to park at but there are City of Aurora Lots that are free! We parked in Lot X and with a short walk over the bridge, we were at the market. They had security around these lots as well knowing this time of year on the weekends is prime market time. The market itself is more spaced out than the city so one can actually look at the vendor houses with ease. They have the same larger tents for food and drink, ornaments, candy, etc. They play holiday music over the speakers and have a couple of photo moments when visiting. The market is free to get into and wasn't very crowded at all when I visited. The city location definitely has a more festive atmosphere but if you're looking to get the experience with ease of parking and crowds, definitely come out to Aurora!

I did go the Friday after Thanksgiving so maybe it wasn't as busy as a weekend day. But if you live in the suburbs, this is the location to go to! It has everything the downtown location has and more. Parking is $10 across the street but can get busy so I recommend coming early. I mainly go to the market for the food. This year I got the ever famous raclette sandwich and it was worth the hype. It was a steep $20 but well worth it. You can watch how they make the sandwich in front of you. The cheese is gooey and warm, going perfectly with the soft bread and cured meat. I got everything on the sandwich including dijon mustard and pickles, which helped balance out the richness with acidity. Other notable items we got were the stroopwaffel, German bratwurst, jalapeño cheese stuffed pretzel, and hot chocolate. Everything we got tasted amazing. I love the variety of German foods that you can't find easily otherwise. There is also a lot of other vendors selling clothing, ornaments, food items, etc. There was even a glass blowing ornament tent which was super unique and only $50. Highly recommending checking out this market earlier in the season before it gets too cold!
