Overall a decent breakfast! The service was pretty quick and knowledgeable. The space is open and well lit, lots of seating. I ate the Waffle, it was cooked well not too thick and a lil crispy. We did have to ask for warm syrup as they leave theirs on the table. My sister was a little disappointed because her pancakes only had the chocolate chips on top so you have to ask for the toppings to be mixed in you if you prefer. This place is very spacious, with no shortage of seating. I ordered the fig and bacon omelet and a side of biscuits and gravy. I was surprised to see how massive the food portions are here. Honey Berry is a class act establishment. The food is always on point, the service is better. Gonzalo, our server is the main reason we frequent there. He literally makes the experience feel like "our place.' We ask for him when we walk in. The kids warmed right up to him. I grew up in a small town with a couple diners. It's a good solid place to grab breakfast any day of the week. However, the service at the bar is always so subpar. It's a struggle to get a refill on your water or even pay the bill because no one checks in on you. It's been this way over the several last visits. Food took to long, we waited for over an hour for our food, I asked if I could get extra eggs on my eggs Benedict and they put it in a watery bowl already poached with the egg out. My nephew had to wait longer for his chicken tenders. We told the waitress and she was very much understanding and but the food took to long. I would I have had no problem but when you see workers smoking and joking around it makes me wonder if they are prioritizing the customer to make things run smoothly. So glad to have found this place. My husband and I tried and the inside is really nice. I got the breakfast sliders, one ham and the other sausage. I will say, I enjoyed the ham more. Got a side of fruit and a bagel with cream cheese. All good. My husband got the California omelet, they did have to fix because they put feta cheese instead of the provolone that is supposed to come in it, but hubby was still happy and said was good.
