Let me tell you right now, if you're looking for a chiropractor this is your sign here that this is absolutely hands down the best, stop searching!! Dr. Ed was so kind to my husband and I! My husband had unfortunately pulled a nerve or a muscle in his neck somewhere and couldn't move his right arm at all or turn his head to the right, he was in unbearable pain, I found Dr. Ed through Yelp I was so nervous and anxious to call because it was an emergency and I was super worried for my husband. Dr. Ed himself answered the phone and I explained the situation, he told me to come in with my husband as soon as possible. When we arrived we were greeted by the receptionist who is super friendly and kind! We only waited a few minutes. He adjusted my husbands back, neck, hips, and did some electrode muscle therapy on my husbands back, as well as the massage bed. His prices are so amazing I was absolutely shocked because I was expecting we would pay a lot. It's definitely a misconception that chiropractors charge a lot of money. They had called my insurance to verify that I have 100% coverage, but they were not getting the full amount back from my insurance and told me that they don't have time to work my insurance to figure it out. Literally saved my life! A few years ago, I got into a major car accident, but only sustained minor injuries, and being that I'm not from the area I unfortunately went with a horrible chiropractor.... So I was skeptical when I threw my back out my lower back with inflamed I couldn't stand up straight. I could barely walk, literally like I thought I was going to die and need surgery. I LOVE this man. I can't tell you how many times he has literally saved me. Any time I call, I can get in. I recommend him to all my friends who work in the film business because we stand and run pretty much 99% of the day. He has saved us all. I remember a time where I came to his office LITERALLY screaming because of the pain in my back, and I have an extraordinary threshold for pain (I've been a martial artist for many years, and do full contact sparring). I wanted to wait a few months before posting my official review, as with most medical doctors and practices, you want to make sure it works before you make an assessment. WOW can I say that Dr. Simon has helped me. I have been a headache and migraine sufferer for a decade. I have tried massage, acupuncture, eye doctors, over the counter meds, prescribed meds, and even saw a neurologist (which spawned months of tests and other doctors visits). All coming up with one thing- yes you suffer with this but no, there isn't anything to do to prevent them. UNTIL, I started seeing Dr. Simon. I went every 2 weeks for 2 months, and now I go once a month. I have been going for a total of 4 months. So, how has it worked you ask? I was having tension in my neck and shoulders, to a point where I would feel dizzy if I made sudden moves, so I decided to try going to a chiropracter, yelped the closest one to my house and boy was I happy I found this place! Everyone was very nice, the office looked clean, didn't have a long wait, even though they were busy. Dr Gross welcomed me, explained everything he will be doing, definitely made me feel less nervous since this was my first time, I was impressed, he adjusted my spine and cracked my neck and it felt better immediately, I'm so happy I found him! What can i say? Ed and the team are so great are attentive! Like a well oiled machine for sure. My favorite part is the roller beds and the adjustments. I have to say, I have been to a couple different Chiropractors because of hip/sciatic/piriformis pain, no joke if you have this you know! Dr. Simon fixed me. WOW, I can't believe I am pain free. I was in extreme pain from a pinch nerve that happened while I was reaching to pick up something. I used a heat pad, took lots of Tylenol and Advil and rest the remaining day. The sharp pain was getting worse to the point I could barely get out of bed. I looked up Chiropractors in Sherman Oaks and came across Dr. Simon. He had great Yelp reviews and decided to try him out the following day. I am so glad I did. They were able to get me in within two hours from my call. After my realignment, stretches and massage, or better yet...cracking of all my bones, lol, my pain went from a 10 to a 6 by the time I left the office. After my second visit the next day, my pain level has gone down to a 3. The regret I have is that I didn't go to him sooner. I had a brutal mountain bike accident. Broke ribs, collapsed lung, and broke my right shoulder. After a couple months, I called around for a chiropractor that had experience treating a shoulder injury since I can't lift it. Dr. Simon called me back and I could hear the compassion and the confidence in his voice once I explained the pain and limitations. I've had 3 sessions with Dr. Simon and he is my chiropractor for as long as I live here. I have muscle atrophy, shortened muscles that cramp to compensate, and tendinitis and he's already made a big difference and put me well on the path to healing. I've been going to chiropractors ever since I was little, and Dr. Simon is the only one I've seen who really made me feel like I was seeing a DOCTOR. On my first visit, I couldn't believe how much time they spent on me. They started me on a roller massage bed to get my spine relaxed, and when Dr. Simon did his adjustment he spent lots of time using pressure to find the points that were out of alignment before he cracked my bones. He takes his time and makes sure you're relaxed before he does anything. He will adjust every little thing he finds and notate what he does and where he does it in your file so that he can keep track for your next visit. After my adjustment, he had his assistant (I forgot her name, but she's very friendly) do some electric pulse therapy on my back to stimulate my nerves. After 10 or so minutes of that, she brought me to another room and did a small massage using her hands and hot stones. Then she taught me a couple of stretches I can do every day to target and loosen my tense areas. I would recommend Dr. Simon & his staff to anyone!
