I was surprise that the mannequin forms were on sale about $100.00 each and the hangers were also being sold for a set to $5. What a great deal. If I had the means to buy the form, I would do it. But this economy, I cannot spend it on just anything that i dont think I need to use for now. But I know my boyfriend will love this orange puffy vest that had the Eddie Bauer logo. Walked in and around the store for about 15 minutes without being acknowledged As I am headed towards the door, I stop at a display and search through the pants. No action from clerks. For years I was an avid Eddie Bauer Outlet shopper. I had their credit card and I was traveling all the Western states so I was in many locations they had stores. I bought clothing and household items and even though this was 25 years ago I still have a few things. I was in their store one day in Tucson and bought a shirt. I jumped into my car and headed to Las Vegas, my next appointment. On the way, I got thinking about that shirt I bought. It occurred to me that I no longer shopped around much when I needed a shirt or whatever. I just picked one up at an Eddie Bauer store and put it on my card. It was on sale or maybe even clearance. When I got to Vegas and had some spare time I went shirt shopping. I found that even an Eddie Bauer shirt on clearance was not really a great deal. Yes, they are well made, but so are many other brands of shirts and other products also. I pretty much stopped shopping at Eddie Bauer that day and stopped using their credit card. I stopped in here today looking for an outdoorsy xmas gift for someone. I see they are still over-priced and didn't buy anything. read more

Large selection of clothing, but there was no trying on. This included dressing rooms and on the floor. That would include no trying on of shoes or coats. I think that was a overboard. We were just at other outlets and they had dressing rooms open and you could try on outerwear on the floor. We walked out with out making any purchase as it's too far to return if it doesn't fit. Like many factory stores, Eddie Bauer is great when they have what you want on a day that has a good sale. The prices here are only slightly better than what you'd find at a regular Eddie Bauer or REI, but the additional sales that pop up now and then can make it really worth your while. The selection is limited and the styles will appeal only to some. It's all about what floats your own personal boat. Went in today and found some great items in the clearance rack! A gray down jacket Parka originally $229 but priced at 70%! Pretty fantastic fit and color. I also found olive colored pants for work, originally $80 and I purchased for 70% off! The ladies section was pretty stellar. Almost everything seemed to be on sale. It was my first time ever buying anything from Eddie Bauer so I would say the quality impressed me. My husband didn't find anything he liked and the 70% off section was lackluster for him. They had plenty of useful items for travel that I will have to come back and look at (backpacks, toiletry holders, passport holders, packable throws and more). The customer service was good and the dressing rooms were clean. Can't wait to come back and would recommend to friends. read more

On top of their promotions and sales which is always great information to get when in a store like Eddie Bauer. Tons of hidden gems in this store! Loved their crew neck sweaters section, a variety of colors and material seemed solid. Not thin and cheap. Another great tip about Eddie Bauer is the baggage, bags and backpacks. Dope designs and color variations which are up to date with what's poppin these days. Very durable as well being that they're made for the outdoors, so that's a plus! As an avid Eddie bauer customer having done most of my shopping online, it was pretty cool coming to the outlet store to get better than online deals, being able to see all the clothes up close and in person. You have no idea how many times I have ordered something online and when it arrives it's not exactly what I thought I was ordering. The material was off, cheaper than expected, size didn't quite fit right, etc. The store was large, clean and a great selection of everything. Unfortunately with online shopping things tend to sell out pretty fast, especially in my size. The worst part about it is all the colors I want seem to disappear quite fast. There are definitely pros and cons to going into an actual store to make your purchases. Located right off the freeway in a large strip mall in Vacaville, I'd say the location was pretty awesome. I got to hit up a bunch of other stores to take care of all of my Christmas shopping, if I'm out in those neck of the woods again I'll definitely hit up this store read more

I've bought a few small things here - like the backpacks and flashlights! They have frequent sales and are really friendly - Folsom Outlets usually has a lot of crowds because the high school is right there, but since Eddie Bauer is pretty far out of the way compared to the other stores, it's not very crowded. I would recommend you go to any of the stores here on a weekday if you can. Weekends here are just too crowded in my opinion! read more

Eddie Bauer is one of the few retailers that has tall sizes for both men and women making this the perfect place for my family as we are all tall and need the extra length. This store consistently has tall sizes in stock which is a plus. The staff at this store is friendly and helpful. I seem to always find something here I like and it is almost always on sale. read more
