I've now had more time to look over this disastrous repair job and found the following. The rear door which they replaced is misaligned badly. The molding around the window is loose. The power window is so misaligned that it sticks. The front passenger door which they also repaired is also misaligned and the window molding is also loose. It's clear why Geico doesnt recommend this place. Neither do I. This $4000 repair job is a joke. read more

I will start first and say that this is really hard as I am a small business owner and I don't write bad reviews at all however I will never recommend this shop to anyone. My truck was hit by an express lane pillion January 2018. Only the front driver headlight and the plastic trim between the grill/headlight and the bumper was affected. Per State Farm, I went to Eddie's and received great and outstanding service and when the truck was returned the plastic affected piece was popped out from the fender area, the rep took it back and within minutes it was fixed. Fast forward to January 2019. The repair to the plastic had a bubble in the paint where the repair was fixed and it popped back out. I take it to Eddie's and my 2018 rep is no longer there and Omar became my rep. Well it was a Tuesday and Omar looked at the repair, didn't take any pictures, circled the cost of repair on the original invoice and told me that he had to talk to the boss about the repair. I stated it was less than 1 year since the first repair so it should be under warranty. Omar told me he would call me within 1-2 days. Friday comes which is 3 days after speaking to him, no call from Omar and I call him. He is with a customer and the front desk lady who is very sweet, starts to tell me that they need to contact State Farm for the repair and rental. I refused as it was all a warranty issue and had nothing to do with State Farm and Eddie's got paid already. She informed me that it was a life time warranty so I didn't have to worry about the year warranty. Great. Omar calls me back and plays the "sick" card. He finally calls me back and he tells me that I need to bring it in and they will get me a rent a car. I asked several times, since they are paying, I am a small business owner, don't make me waste valuable time and have the car waiting for me. Omar, tells me he would have to speak with the boss after a long argument with me and he would call me back that day, Friday. Friday comes and goes Monday comes and goes. I unpack all of my equipment from my truck and call him at 8:40am on Tuesday and call him to tell him to have the car ready for me and he tells me that I missed my appointment on Monday so I have to wait till next Monday. I spoke with him and reminded him that he never spoke to me and confirmed anything as he needed to speak with the boss. He agrees to accept my truck and I get to the office and they call the rental car agency. I told Omar and the front receptionist that I needed a rental agency near the shop or west as I live in West Sunrise. Hertz picks me up and I ask where is the office and the driver says US 1 and St Rd 84. The complete east side of the county which I asked for them not to do. Omar then calls me Wednesday at 3:40 pm and tells me that my truck is ready. I ask what time do they close and he says 4:30pm. I said "due to work i can't get there in 50 minutes" He gets upset and says i have to be there before 9am the next day. I advised I could get there the next day before noon because I have a meeting between 7-9 am. He got upset. I show up at 9:50am to get my truck and he brings it up and there are flaws in the paint of where they fixed it. I asked Omar, what do we do and he hands me the keys and says that he couldn't see the flaws, then says it is the metallic paint and then says he can't do anything for me and have a nice day. I stood in the parking lot in disbelief. As he walked away I asked him if I needed to sign anything for release and he says no. He blamed the paint on everything else yet I told him he just repainted that area and now it has blemishes. From start to finish of this warranty issue, I asked for Eddie himself 3 times as there is a sign that says "not 100% satisfied Ask for Eddie". So now I have a repair that failed less than a year and now I have blemishes in the paint that they did warranty work at. On a side note, I thought it was just me having a hard time with Omar, but, during drop off, I used the restroom that is across from the office to do paperwork and the husband of the lady signing says to Omar "I really thought you would have treated us better." He understands how to keep people coming back, personably and cares what the customer has to say. But when I say this, I say it with complete conviction, Duncan is a moron. He is a bull-crapper and he has a bad attitude. When I heard what he said to my father, he was very lucky I wasn't there. He lies about everything. If you take your car there, make sure you don't have to deal with him. It will take a week longer than he "guarantees" it will be done. I went to Eddie Demiglios so they could remove some minor key marks off of the hood of my car. They told me it would take one day to complete. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning when they opened. Towards 5pm I had not received any phone calls telling me to come pick up my car. So, I called and spoke to my sales writer, Duncun. He told me the car would not be available today and I could pick up early tomorrow morning. Adding, he never told me it would be ready in only one day. Both, Duncun and Eddie assured me it would be ready in one day. So, I asked him to please call me first thing in the morning to pick up the car before my shift started at work. Noon the next day, NO PHONE CALL. I call them back, to find out where my car is. " Its not ready yet, give me until 3pm. " I could not wait. I had to be at work. So, I asked Duncan if he could drop my car off to me at my job, not to far away from the shop. He said, " No Problem. " Around 4pm, NO PHONE CALL! I call the shop to find out the status of my car. It was ready, finally. I gave Duncan the directions to my job for the drop off. He said, " We can not drop off the car, that is not a service they could not provide. Also, it was approaching 5pm, time of closing and nobody was there to do it." I expressed to Duncan I was extremely upset and disappointed and I would not do business with Eddie Demiglios again , and he replied with " I hope you DON'T. " WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! They finally dropped my car off, after fighting with them over the phone. Also, every time I called I asked to speak with Eddie Demiglio or a supervisior, and no one was ever available. A few weeks after getting my car back, I noticed ripples in the paint on the hood where they did work. Very poor job. I did not call back to complain because I knew I would just be wasting my breathe. 3 months now after getting my car back, I get an envelope in the mail from Eddie Demiglios with my Sun Pass that I have been looking for and a pocket knife that I had in the center console that I didn't even know was missing. WTF???? I had enough and I called back to speak to someone and all I got to speak to was a receptionist and she could not explain to my why my stuff went missing and that 3 months later it was mailed back to me. I asked to speak to Eddie Demiglio or a supervisor and she replied, " Nobody was a available. " I asked to have one of them call me back. Guess who called me back, Duncan. I did not ask to speak with him. Because he is completely useless. To this day, nobody important has called me back! My message to everybody is, DON'T GO TO EDDIE Demiglios! They SUCK!!! read more

They have GREAT customer service, were really quick, and communicated directly with my insurance company so I didn't have to deal with that. I just had an accident with my 2010 Rav4, which had no previous damage on it. I found Eddie's through my insurance company (State Farm) . This is the best collision establishment I have ever dealt with (I am a senior citizen). They were extremely pleasant to deal with; their process was efficient, and it made the situation quite a bit easier to deal with. They called with an estimate the next workday and when I picked up the car the cost was within a few dollars of the estimate. I asked for a ballpark of when the car would be ready and they said about one and a half to two weeks, depending on when the ordered parts would arrive. The car was done in a week and a half. They did a beautiful job and you cannot tell it was ever in an accident. They also arranged a car rental for me (pick up and drop off right there at the shop). This also worked seamlessly. The driver couldn't parallel park on Washington avenue and scraped the left side of my car trying to get his fat ass SUV into a spot that was too small for it. Worst repair shop ever!! Horrible customer service. Duncan is a jerk who should be fired for the way he talks to customers. I scheduled my drop off when they said they could take it in. I called everyday for the first 3 days and Duncan told me on the 3rd day it was already being torn down. On the 4th day he said it still hasnt even been in the shop. Yet iti was told when i dropped it off Monday it would be done by Friday. Then when i complained to him he said just come pick up your car and hung up on me. We have dealt with Eddies at least 5 times in the past yet this has been the worst experience and I am sure our family and friends won't come back or recommend them. We had repairs done on our van beginning April 2019 and 3 things were not complete. The parts had to be ordered so we were to bring it back in a few days when they all arrive. A major issue was that a warped front bumper was put on and it didn't match up on either side or with the headlights. They fixed 2 issues but had to reorder the bumper. We took the van home and I had to call them continuously to see if the bumper arrived. About 10 days later it was in. I was told we would have a rental and it would take a couple of days. The rental company they use is Hertz. I was told something equivalent to my Pacifica would be brought to Eddies for us. We had 2 car seats for our 2 babies (3 year old and 20 month old) our 9 year old nephew and a double stroller. They brought me a Kia Soul. Needless to say I wasn't happy since I could barely fit the car seats in and definitely couldn't get my 9 year old nephew and our stroller in. They told me to go to any Hertz and exchange it for something else. Anything else a little bigger would work. I told the Hertz man (Micah) I didn't even want a rental and that Eddies said it would only take a couple days. Micah even remembered yesterday that I didn't even want a rental car. Fast forward 7 months and I am still trying to get this resolved. We ended up having the rental 16 days for a few days repair. In December I began receiving past due payments from Hertz. I had to make calls and email receipts to various emails for adjusters, ect. I went to Eddie's yesterday to finally try and end this whole run around. I was told by Chris Evans the rental was approved to be paid for by progressive, this was the at fault drivers insurance. We have State Farm. I also asked him why they would put a warped bumper on my van knowing it was warped and he told me that's what they had to do to show the company how bad it was because they don't send out brand new factory parts to save money. He said they try to send out subpar parts that cost a little less rather than factory original part that would cost more. I then asked him why he'd give us our van back claiming this repair as their own, good and complete and that it was OK when it wasn't. He said that's what they have to do. So all the money that's been paid as long as they're getting paid they really don't care what they're giving the customer. I guess if I would have accepted the repair and not come back they'd all be fine with that even though they knew it wasn't fixed 100% correctly. The other lady in the office I think her name was Lisa, the owners wife, told Chris to take care of this today. Four hours later after multiple phone calls back-and-forth to Chris, phone calls to progressive, phone calls to State Farm and a drive to the hertz office on 84 and US1 it's still not taken care of. I was so aggravated that I had to do all this running around and phone calls for 4 hours. We were also told by Chris he'd help us take care of this the next day and that they weren't a rental car company. We never would have gotten a rental for a couple day job especially from Hertz had Chris not said it would be paid for. On top of that it took them 16 days to fix it!! When at Hertz we were told the daily price ($59 a day) for our rental was too high as well. Hmmmm wonder why charge a business you work with that price and not give the best deal. I guess it doesn't matter if insurance is supposed to be paying for it. I'm definitely sending this to "Help Me Howard since my credit is on the line and a complaint with BBB. At this point I feel like Eddie's collision should renegotiate the daily price Hertz charged me and pay it themselves since they were the ones that put the bad bumper on the car in the first place. read more

I brought my car to Eddies since they have repaired all of our family's dents and damage from accidents the last 15 years. As always, his estimate for repairs were fair and not inflated like some repair shops. My car was brought in on on Thursday and I had it back on Tuesday. Bad customer service, I went 30 minutes before they close to pick up my car, and Reg Mckenzie was very disrespectful with me just because he was closing. Had to come back like 4 times because they didn't fix my car well, it always had something wrong, and they don't get original pieces to fix, my car had a broken thing in the door and they didn't get a new one to fix it, they just glue it so when I opened the door the piece fell, so uncomfortable with this service. If possible would not even give that. We were told the repairs would take 1 week. It took 2. The "promise date" on the file even said 4 days earlier than delivered. We planned the service around a vacation so we did not have to incur the cost of a rental car. So for another week, we had a major inconvenience. On top of that, the original estimate TRIPLED. Duncan would not return phone calls. And, when I got him on the phone all I got was "we have sooo many cars right now...blah blah blah...not my problem. Hello Eddy my name is Vanessa . After several request to speak to higher management Maria failed to deliver. I was to referred to Eddie collision through my insurance company.I have used this garage in the past and was pleased with the work . However this time around it has been a terrible experience.Eddie Collision had my car for a month and half because the extensive work that needed to be done. I arrived to pick up my car at 450. Maria is the women that was assigned to my car. She told me that she was closing and had to go .she took my payment for my deductible then gave me my keys to my car. I then went to exam my car. Right away I noticed that on the back of my car where it's suppose to say C300 they put LS300 on my car. I was upset because Mercedes doesn't even make a LS model. Then when I went inside my car there was buttons that were missing ,my back carpets were missing. I had personal items in the car that I couldn't take out because there was glass everywhere in the car. They were missing to.They lost my car registration and it's a huge problem because I'm registered in other state.Then I looked at the bumper job and my bumper wasn't lined up correctly on one side causing the bumper to stick out in the corner. Maria is being completely rude stating to me that I never had carpets in the back. Telling me she doesn't see the big deal and she not going to speak to me if I'm going to be upset. I had every right to be upset. I told her I had personal items left in my car that I do not see. She stated that they found a Publix bag in my car and put all my stuff in it and then they supposedly placed it in my truck. I personally do not shop at Publix so I don't know where she got the publix trash bag from. However this trash bag is no where to be found. After Maria constantly rudely telling my stuff never existed .she then calls me and tells me she found the piece to my car and the carpet protective mats but no Mercedes carpets for the back. She then told me that they are going ordering it. She is slowly finding my stuff to my car. However when I first approached her about my stuff she rudely said that my stuff didn't exist and she wasnt responsible for the stuff that was in my car during repair. I'm very upset because I have received terrible customer service instead of trying to help me make things right she trying to belittle my problems and make it seem like it's a problem that I'm coming forward about what I'm dealing with. She kept stating that there was no managers or owners around everytime I ask for one. I was hoping they would find the white plastic Publix bag that Maria told me about with my stuff in it. However when I arrived I spoke to a nice old women in the office. She called Maria. She then said we don't have your stuff whatever was in the car was put in the trunk of the car in a plastic bag. I told her like I've been tellling her from the day I picked up the car that there was no plastic bag in my trunk. She then denies telling me that she said it was put in Publix bag. Then she denies saying that I never had mats in the back. ( because after stating my mats didn't exist she found some of them)It's like she caught amnesia. Then while me and Maria are going back and forth. An employee named Patricia Murphy jumps in to the disagreement and starts yelling at me saying "Excuse me Excuse me you need to be quiet " I then asked the women Do you own this auto body. Do you work here She states she doesn't work here. (As if she was a customer)She then yells No . I then told her then to mind her business. I'm trying to get my issue resolved over here and I don't need any random people jumping in to my conversation. Patricia starts screaming how she doesn't care what's going on and starts laughing at me with her friend.If I was an old white women instead of young black women,I truly believe I would have received better customer service. Patricia Murphy (3M paint company) then sat in the waiting for about a half an hour having small talk with one of her friends. The whole time she is staring at me and laughing. I felt completely disrespected and belittled. My insurance spent good money to fix my car and I was treated like trash. There is sign in the shop that says if you are not satisfied with your service ask for EDDIE. I asked Maria for eddy 10 times she failed to deliever. If it wasnt for a man name Reggie in there I'm not sure how this day would've ended. He was the only one who would listen to my concerns and who apologized. read more

I am an NSU student who was involved in a hit and run accident and was so stressed out by having to deal with this in the New Year and especially being from out of state. Damage was to my trunk and bumper. I was recommended by a friend's mom to check out Eddie's and when I came in for an estimate I felt really comfortable. Reg and the secretary's at the front desk (mainly Donna) made me feel like family from the time I walked in the door. They are real and through - they don't try to cut corners around you or push things in your face. I was also appreciative when they 1. Kept in touch with my parents when and faxed them some copies of my paperwork 2. helped me figure out a rental car from enterprise (who were also really great people) since I had no idea I needed a reservation. Very dissapointed with this shop after taking my car in to do body work on my passanger door that was hit by another car. It took them a whole month for them to charge the isurance company an extra 1,000.00 which was a total of 2,300.00 then when I pick up my car and drive home my window control panel doesn't work. I called to let them know that it wasn't like that before handing my car to them and the response I got back was basically letting me know that "those things break all the time and we never checked your windows when you dropped off the car" cleaning themselves off the mess and not taking any kind of responsibility for what they did. I find this to be extremely dishonest and distasteful for a company who's been in business for so many years, very shameful. Good luck running a business this way and I would never recommend it to anyone since now I need to pay out of my pockets for a damage your shop was responsible for. read more

Brought my Ford F150 to Eddies on two occasions because he was a preferred shop for Allstate, the job was warrantied for life. Looked good at first, then the paint begun to peel on the passenger door, according to Eddie's associate they had a bad batch of clear coat . He repainted the door, and it peeled again, needless to say the other two panels peeled too. We went back to Eddie's and after repeated calls they said we had to pay for the paint and they would provide the labor. They did not stand behind the warrantee. We called Allstate and they sent us to another shop to fix the mess Eddie's Collision made at no charge. Eddies's was paid over $6000.00 for the body work he did, he is a neighborhood shop and he should have stood behind his warrantee. Won't go back again. read more

My 19 year old had a fender-bender and took it to the first body shop he could find, which happened to be Eddie's. He was not hurt, and no damage was done to the other vehicle, but there was damage to the hood, bumper and radiator of his car. He was given a premilinary estimate of $2,500, and after being advised that we would not be making a claim under his insurance, the estimate somehow went up to over $5,000. We called to advise we d be taking the car elsewhere for a second opinion, but my son could not pick up the car until Monday as the shop closes on weekends. Upon doing so he was told he needed to pay $400 as a fee for dismantling the car in order to provide the inflated estimate(s). The car was held hostage until this fee was paid. Eddie s owner acted as if the kid was getting a bargain because no additional storage fees were charged. He had no choice by to pay the $400 - no work was done and only bad will was exhibited. They took advantage of a kid in need and I urge caveat emptor when dealing with these people. Go to Brilliant in Hollywood instead. read more
