Delicious, I just wish there was more chocolate.

It's happened, I've had another 5* burger experience... I just had to travel to Ireland to get it! Eddie Rockets has a plethora of tasty treats to choose from, which made deciding what to grab for lunch more difficult than I was expecting. I settled on a burger which had black pudding in it! Let me just say this now, All burgers should contain black pudding! It was AAAAAMAARZING. I decided on bacon cheese fries to accompany the burger, and washed it all down with a Reece's PB shake, which only disappointed because I thought it would be PB and chocolate... You know, like a Reece's piece. If I was expecting just PB, it would have been brilliant. Dessert was a Coke float, because I couldn't visit a 50's style diner and not get one. If I'm in Dublin again, I'll definitely visit again.

Similar to Johnny rockets in the USA, this place is great for a classic burger and fries in a 1950s setting. And that's what we got. We ordered the 3 sliders and fries basket to share. I liked the light toasting of the bun. More so I thought the burgers were cooked really well. Juicy and tasty. We did not end up getting a milkshake as there is a gelato place around the corner. But we did enjoy plenty of music playing our jukebox at our booth. Great chain!

    Chocolate malt-very tasty

It's very retro but I have to say I think Eddie's burgers are some of the best inn town. I love their malted shakes too. I was starving after work and really wanted a tasty burger. I landed here and got looked after straight away. I ordered the chocolate malt, cheese burger with bacon and fries. It all came pretty quickly and the burger was really really tasty- yum. The bill was 16,50 which is great value I think. The waitress was lovely too.

Perfect centrally located, just off Grafton Street. We went for the American style pancakes again, with bacon. Missed the piece of melon we had last time... Regardless of this it was great to be back again.

Its gotta be Eddieeeeee Rockets, all the wayhey... Eddies is Irelands favourite and most ubiquitous American diner. The decor is flashy and in your face, the posters deliberately unwelcoming ("Eat and get out!") and the prices are ridiculously high for fast food, but we still can't seem to get enough. The buffalo wings are sticky and fiery, and the best burger is the atomic, a heart-attack inducing beef burger with a dollop of beef chilli and jalapeno peppers. The milkshales are creamy and giant and big enough to share if you're feeling generous, and the malts are even better, served in aluminium glasses with candy-striped straws just like in a real American diner. This particular branch was a hot lunchtime haunt when I was studying in Trinity College around the corner, where we got 2 for one burgers with vouchers from the Student Pages magazine.

Not one of the better Eddies but it is open late at night when not much else is around that part of town. It was quiet enough but the service was so slow. Took us ages to be served and then we had to request that our empty dishes be cleared away. The food was just averages. Not the best Eddie Rockets I've ever had.

Was really not impressed with this Eddie's. The place isn't laid out particularly well so can be a bit of a squeeze. Even with three servers and capacity at 65%, service just seemed to drag. When service sucks though you can forgive them if the food is unreal... But it wasn't. My friend ordered chicken tenders, which came out as a measly portion, barely breadcrumbed and terribly dry. Not tender at all! Both of us thought the fries tasted off too, as if they were fried in oil that hadn't been changed in a while. I usually really like Eddie's as it's normally good guilty food, but this experience really put me off.

Upon entering it was slightly confusing as to go upstairs or into the bar area to find the hostess to be seated & with no one there to help us we walked into the Bar area to the right & ordered a few Guinness's & waited for someone to seat us somewhere. We ended up being seated in the entry area right at the entrance which was fine because it was super loud up the stairs. We ordered the Pork Pie & The Beef Casserole. Both were really good & filling. The service was decent & the ambiance was nice although it was very, very loud. Overall it was a great meal with above average prices but I'm not sure we'd go back next time due to the other factors.

It is believed that 'Temple Bar' street's name originated from 'Sir William Temple' from the 'Temple family (you can see the same on the outer wall of the pub) The most iconic pub in Dublin, the Temple Bar Pub, sits proudly on the corner of Temple Bar and Temple Lane South. With live music from 10:30 am every day, this is a pub with a party atmosphere all day long. I was amused at how many people popped in, snapped off a quick photo or a 30-second video, and then left without stopping for a drink. Then again, at €8 a pint, and it's one of the more expensive drinks in an already expensive city ( and I did the same in 2-3 pubs), and that's fine. Doesn't matter whether you wanna have food or drink here or not, but I would definitely recommend (in capital letters), have one drink here. Yes, it's expensive (just 3-4 euros more, come on), but the vibe, that's totally worth it. I truly believe, though, that if you're going to experience Dublin, then you can't leave without experiencing Temple Bar. I had like 4-5 drinks at different pubs, and though it's touristy and "trap"- I would come here again and again. No other place has a "temple bar pub ' vibe. There is always live music, the stage is rarely empty, and the diary is always full. The Temple Bar Pub is famed throughout Dublin for its lively, traditional Irish music scene. PS: don't get confused with Temple Bar at the end of every pub. Its neighborhood name (Temple bar neighborhood), and this pub is Temple Bar pub.

I went during my first trip to Dublin and not again until my boyfriend and I went to Dublin together. As it was his first visit, we had to go. The bar is always packed unless you arrive as soon as they open. It's not longer after opening time that it becomes a mad house well into the night. They've always got live music and proper Guinness pours (more $$ than elsewhere). So yeah, it's a tourist trap but it's also fun if you know what you're getting into and what to expect.

I'm happy we didn't because we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I know an American going to a new American restaurant in Ireland is a little bit weird maybe not, but the music they were playing was pretty good. It was very old-school Americano kind of style. Nothing like it is today. So if you want to get the nostalgia of a little bit of America of what it used to be definitely come on in and check it out. We were greeted by the bartender look like he was the only one taking care of everybody. Came up and told us the special and the special that we chose was the fish and chips. This place is really great because not only do you get the fish and chips at a great deal you get a pint of beer included! I believe it came out to be about €20 but that has been the best deal that I could get the whole time I was in Ireland! My partner ordered a tonic and asked for some lime and was provided was a big bottle of lime juice. Check out the photo. The fish came out with two pieces. They were perfectly flaky, and the french fries were actually pretty crispy, unlike some places we visited in Ireland the french fries were really floppy and were baked rather than deep-fried. There are different specials on the lunch menu and I believe that the lunch menu goes until 5 PM.
