One very cool thing is all the concessions are cashless and super easy/fast. We hit the pizza place and basically just picked up a cheese pizza ($20.14), tiramisu ($9.54), 2 waters ($6.36 ea) and then headed to the self check out. The items must have an RFID tag in the packaging or some type of product recognition because when we put items on the scale, it recognized what the were. A simple tap to pay and we were on our way.

While the venue is currently under construction, the stadium is still open for events like Stars on Ice 2026. [Parking]: Currently event attendees can park for free in one of two parking garages - the Katella Garage and the Cerritos Garage. While I appreciate the free parking, it took my car 15+ minutes just to enter and park in the Cerritos Garage (via Cerritos Ave) and another 15+ minutes to get into the stadium. The worst part was leaving out of the garage ... my car took almost 90 minutes just to exit the parking garage and get onto the freeway. [Experience]: During intermission, the lines for concessions and restrooms were crazy and it was difficult to move around. I basically gave up exploring the concessions and just walked back to my seat. Our party purchased tickets in Section 400 and the view was alright. The sound quality was also fine and the stadium can get quite cold so bring an extra layer. [Concession]: Some of stands in section 400 levels include pizza (Anaheim Pizza Co. - Section 419), chicken tenders / burgers / fried chicken sandwiches (Slapshot Grill - Section 441), Mexican food (El Patito - Section 404), hot dogs / popcorn / pretzels (Quack Snacks - Sections 421 & 430), ice cream (Sweet Spot Soft Serve - Section 408), etc. [Conclusion]: Under normal circumstances, I would say it was a mediocre 3-star experience; however I have to knock off a star due to the horrible parking situation upon exiting despite the free parking.

The Arena is where dreams are announced... and where wallets go to die…read more If you're coming here for D23 Expo (Disney's once-every-two-years fan mega-event), then welcome to the beating heart of Disney nerdom. The Anaheim Convention Center Arena has seen it all: park announcements, movie reveals, surprise celebrity appearances, and 7,000 people screaming at the unveiling of a new logo. The Anaheim Convention Center opened in 1967 -- the same year Walt Disney's EPCOT film was still fresh in everyone's mind -- as a way to handle big events just across the street from Disneyland. Over the decades it's expanded into the largest convention center on the West Coast. The Arena itself once hosted pro sports and concerts before becoming the go-to stage for mega-panels, keynote presentations, and all things Disney fan service. The Arena is massive and electric during D23 -- the energy feels like Comic-Con with mouse ears. The seating's comfortable enough, the acoustics are solid, and the production value is pure Disney: lights, sound, video screens the size of apartment buildings. You'll laugh, cry, and maybe even mortgage your house for exclusive merch. The food options leave a lot to be desired. Think overpriced convention center staples: pizza slices, soggy nachos, sad sandwiches, and bottled water priced like it's Evian filtered through Tinker Bell's wings. If you don't plan ahead, you'll end up eating a $15 hot dog while dreaming about Trader Sam's. The Arena at Anaheim Convention Center is where Disney makes magic real -- even if the food is criminal. Come prepared, bring snacks, and know that what happens here shapes the future of Disney parks, movies, and fandom. It's history in the making... with nachos you'll regret.

I often accompany her to Ducks games and today was the first time this season. We sit near a mother (90-something) and son (60-something) who are there every game. The son has a huge bellowing voice to yell "Let's Go Ducks!!" No doubt the players can hear him from the ice rink. The Honda Center is full of adrenaline and pep and it's entertaining to watch people as much as it is to watch the game! The new parking structure is really nice! I didn't understand why my friend insisted on parking backwards but then it totally made sense as we left just now because it's much easier to join the line of departing cars if you're driving forward. ALSO, if someone kind makes room for you in the line. Thank you, kind person! Back to the Honda Center--we got some chicken tenders and curly fries for $15 for dinner because we were hungry after work. (Usually we just get Dole whip soft serve pineapple (yum))! Generous portions of real chicken meat in three huge tenders which were well cooked and seasoned, on a mountain of curly fries--very satisfying! You grab your own condiments to go, so I got ranch and ketchup. The Ducks played very well and it was fun sitting next to a 5-year-old boy and his dad--the boy was enraptured with the game, shouting things like "Ducks, do better!" To which his dad replied, "well, we ARE winning". I went to my first Ducks game back in 1996, 30 years ago when Paul Kariya was playing. It's still a super fun team to watch live!! I'm sure we'll be back!
