Lattes and cannoli. Sometimes this is all you need. Until you visit Cortina's market. There is…read moreno way that you will walk out without a basket full of goodies. Today we picked up a jar of giardiniera, pepperoncini, a sourdough boule, rosemary crackers, Italian cookies, and even a cool tee shirt. It gets pretty crowded on the Saturday. Parking lot may fill up, if you are lucky there will never some parking on Orange Avenue. I definitely prefer visiting on weekdays but when you need your cannolis, you just go! Glad we did, for sure! Well if you need anything Italian, highly likely you will find it here. The deli is amazing. The wine selection is complete. Olive oil of all kinds. Baked goods will impress. Pick up all your needs for your next pasta dinner party. Can't wait to visit again soon!

1st time here and was impressed with the markets, got everything Italian you can think of, frozen,…read morepre make, fresh, dried ingredients and so forth. Their deli section got plenty of great selection of meats & cheeses. And their bakery part also got plenty of pastries and well know Italian cookies and individual cakes. Staff are great and friendly plus knowledgeable of what they're selling. I ended up buying several items instead of one or two. Definitely a place to go for good quality Italian ingredients to cook at home. As for the Pizza place, we got 2 types of sandwiches and lasagna. The Italian sandwich was just okey, the bread was not quite a right type for it. Just chewy outside and abit blanch of the filling. The meatballs sandwich is quite delightful, good amount of sauce and big meatball and go nicely with the sandwich. The lasagna was good but abit under seasoning, abit watering and it could used more meats. Overall it was okey place for a quick bites and easy to take away. Parking can be hectic and abit out of control since folks don't know what to do since people coming in and block cars that need to go out...another word. It's a small parking lot for In&Out. It was easy when I got there at 10:30am and the parking lot was pretty much empty (since market open early then their pizza side). When leave I have to wait for 5mins in order to get the car out since there are cars waiting right infront of my car and there are car infront and behind. There is a parking lot right across and street parking too, and I think it would be much easier then park in their lot during their busy times.

My husband had the breakfast burrito and said it was amazing. He liked it so much he even went home with a 24 oz container of their house-made red salsa, which was incredible. The customer service was outstanding. Art was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely engaged with us while we were there. You can tell they really care about their customers and the food they serve. We'll definitely be coming back from Bakersfield!

I paid $17.54 for a biscuit with egg, cheese, turkey sausage, and a black iced coffee. The biscuit was decent, but fairly small, and nothing about the sandwich felt premium enough to justify the price. The turkey sausage tasted like a standard pre-made sausage, and if there was a significant upcharge for choosing turkey, it didn't feel warranted. The coffee was fine. It was a basic black iced coffee, good enough, but not something that stood out or justified a premium price. My biggest issue is the value. Nearly $18 for a simple breakfast sandwich and a plain black iced coffee feels excessive for what was served. I've also noticed that the total seems to vary from visit to visit, making it difficult to know what to expect when ordering. I genuinely like the people who work here and wish them success. This review isn't about the staff. For me, it's simply a matter of price versus value, and I can no longer justify spending this much for a basic breakfast and coffee.
